  Moodle is an Open Source LMS.  There are discussion forums and live chats, that which I use extensively. I can't enter my Moodle courses, but once I'm there I can't dictate in any dialog box.

  I have no idea what this program was to my computer! I became suspicious when I noticed the LMS.exe process has been using 30% of my CPU at all times, and continued to increase its use of memory. It is reloaded when the process was killed. I was able to prevent what is happening with the administration tools in my control panel. I've now disabled this service.

  The other process has been listed as 'dependent' on LMS.exe, it is called UNS.exe, FileSize 2 314 240 bytes, located in "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Intel\Intel (R) engine management Components\UNS\. Several other files in this directory, they are: "DTMessageLib.dll, gSOAP_license.txt, IntelAMTUNS.config, OpenSSL_LICENSE.txt, readme.txt, StatusStrings.dll, xerces_LICENSE.txt, and xerces - c_2_7.dll.

  UNS.exe is defined as "Intel (r) Management and security user Notification Service Application.

  All files of text APPEAR official and containing the establishment against any damage to your computer.

• CiscoWorks LMS 3.2 exporting bulk Configuration

  Does anyone know an easy way to bulk export configurations off Ciscoworks LMS 3.2?  The only thing I found is the cli command export config u cwcli.exe - p-unit %, but it exports in XML format which is not very readable.  Prefer a text file format.  Someone at - it suggestions?

  I am creating a poller to monitor the trap of the temperature of my cisco catalyst 2960 Ciscoworks LMS 4.1.

  I created a snmp trap on my device:

  I created a poller associated with my model, I add my device and when I click on 'Next', I have this error message:

  It seems that most of the 2960 have a temperature sensor implemented in hardware and therefore, it shows no values.

  If a device does not show anything on CLI, it is almost impossible that it will display something via SNMP.

• LMS 3.2.1 netconfig error

  I use LMS 3.2.1 and everything by deploying the configuration to the device by use Netconfig, I get the error message below. All orders of deployment successfully but the State of the Netconfig work always failed due to the error message below;

  Order (s) has failed on the TFTP device: impossible on the device.

  However, I can sync successfully archive the same features.

  Transport-> management Archive Settings = SSH TELNET TFTTP RCP

  -> Deployment configuration, the parameters of transport = SSH TELNET TFTTP

  Please tell us how to rectify the problem.

  You use the defined system of models to push the Netconfig work or you use the AD-HOC option?

  If you use a defined system models using ADHOC work and see if it makes a difference.

• the first LMS 4.2 is available for purchase?

  I have some SMB switches must be managed. I found the last premium Infrastructure 3 is unable to support SMB switch, but first 4.2 LMS can support.

  I knew LMS 4.1 was replaced by Prime Infrastructure, but later LMS version is 4.2, so I don't know if LMS 4.2 is available for purchase. I can't find order guide for LMS4.2.

  What should I do?

  It is not available for purchase, but if you buy premium Infrastructure 2.2 (NOT the last 3.0), you will also have a license for first LMS 4.2.

  This device clearly shows the error like:

  There is no change in the configuration of STARTING and running.

  You should make a configuration change on the device, and then try to run the archive configuration. If not remove this device LMS that by removing all details related to this device and Add again after 5 minutes, than to try again to retrieve the config.

  The configuration must be saved and should also be included in the shadow directory.

• Non-existing connections in Cisco first LMS 4.2.4

  We had strange connections in LMS 4.2.4 and earlier versions, even back at LMS 3.2.1. Even if I delete connections, they reappear as if the connection were present.

  

  

  Sometimes, it is related to a change of interface of 1 G to 10G and in some cases, any other device... .but not always.

  It hurts my eyes, I look at this, so I hope that some of you know the reason, or better yet, the solution.

  Seems to be corrupted the database for ANI.   what I would say is to reset the database to ANI.

  Note: ANI database contains no historical data, reintilalizing so there won't be a problem.

  the steps are:

  1. stop the daemon manager

  2.

  windows:NMSROOT\bin\perl.exe NMSROOT\bin\dbRestoreOrig.pl dsn=ani dmprefix=ANI
  solaris\linux:
  /opt/CSCOpx/bin/dbRestoreOrig.pl dsn=ani dmprefix=ANI
  3 start the daemon manager to wait for 10-15 min, and then start a new DATACOLLECTIOn followed Acquistion of user tracking.

  The first thing I would say is to make sure that you have these devices configured to send the syslogs to that specific server. See config below:

  3725B - CR - NMS (config) #logging host?
  Host name or A.B.C.D IP address of the syslog server

  If that is already set up, please make sure that syslog messages are on the server. Create a message simple syslog and check the syslog.log file located in NMSROOT/CSCOpx/log to make sure it's written there. You can also run a capture of packages to confirm the foregoing. If you have this installed on Linux/Solaris, check the syslog_info file (/ var/log /).

  You can generate a test syslog as shown below:

  3725 B-CR-NEM #conf t
  Enter configuration commands, one per line.  End with CNTL/Z.

  Is there an SSH for Cisco LMS interface? Now when I try SSHing in I'm just met a guest for ciscoworks scp. I am trying to access so that I can add new devices by using the dcrcli command without having to RDP in the machine that is running on LMS.

  In addition, is accessible for LMS api soap from the outside? I tried to make it work using soapui but ended up which put on hold after that I read somewhere else that the API is not available outside, I thought I'd check here if to see if it's actually true.

  When LMS runs on one machine virtual ('soft machine'), ADE-OS based on Linux is exposed through ssh.

  When LMS is running on a windows server, there is no interface to ssh for the application of the LMS.

  In this case, the command line utilities are more or less accessible via a Windows command prompt that would require the native console or server access to the RDP.

  I've never seen someone try to use LMS via the API if you are in a very small set of users there. LMS being in its sunset, I wouldn't hold much hope for us to open.
