  It's not easy to say what the problem is.

  First of all, what laptop do you have exactly?

  In your situation, I would first check the RAM. There are special tools and do always with Memtest86.
  You can download an ISO image to burn on a CD from [www.memtest86.com]
  Boot from the CD and test your memory RAM, maybe, you will get errors.

  You can also reinstall Windows with the recovery disk. It could be a software problem or driver.

  I have a few questions about the FIFO VeriStand in a custom device asyncrounous.

  I saw a post earlier where a - 1 to the function of reading of FIFO of RT for him to wait indefinitely for an item to enter the FIFO.   Hi B,

  If you look at the RT VI pilot generated from custom device model you will see exactly what is happening. If you set the time-out for the reading of FIFO-1 then the botton loop will be essentially suspended unless there are items to read in the FIFO. Meanwhile, the thread will always be active because the RT read that VI is querying data during the time specified in the timeout.  I don't think that there is a way to change the FIFO mode to blocking since the dismissal of the FIFO is spent Veristand engine to the RT VI driver.

  

  The PCL writes and reads data from and to asynchronous custom FIFO device at each step of the execution. In your custom device, you can configure to read and process data of the 1000th step. I don't see any problems with it.

  You can have a FIFO for input channels and a FIFO for the output channels. You can write to an output channel given by writing data in a function index element in the output array that is passed to the function RT FIFO Write.

• A problem with delays in call loops and DAQ

  I'm programming a simulation for nuclear Rewetting for a reception centre to my company in Switzerland. It is a "fuel rods" heating and then fill the water Chamber. The pump starts automatically as soon as the core of the stem reached 750 C. After that, a requirement that the flow rate be checked to ensure the operation of the pump in the necessary conditions.   I use a device connected to my computer in a RS-232 port.

  I configured the VISA series correctly. When I write a command to my device, the answer is something like this:

  The problem is when I try to read this response. The channel indicator shows only one line at a time every single loop. And the other orders received are stored in the buffer until their time to be displayed to come. I mean:

  In the first loop device XXXXX responses.

  Hi, I use the Java API of Sigar to get CPU load and free memory (in percentages) and there is also a lot of good examples on the sources provided showing this kind of functionality. However, how can I use Sigar to get a similar percentage for the use of the network? It doesn't seem to be an example of how you could get this information. I understand that the metric is not very well defined, but I was thinking something in the sense of the amount of traffic entering and leaving as a percentage of the bandwidth of the Network Interface Card. Windows 7 provides at least one such metric in the Manager of tasks, tab 'Networking' and I was trying to get something similar using Java and Sigar.

  You should take a look at these Java API class:

  For a list of the detected interfaces a Sigar object has a method called:

  getNetInterfaceList.

  This allows to detect return of the ETH network, wifi and loop devices. You will need the name of the specific interface OS when getting a reference to the NetInterfaceStat object.

  The tricky part with the use of the network is the implementation of the platform of SIGAR with each operating system. If my memory is correct that Linux has a NOT_IMPLEMENTED indicator set for the interface attribute speed (done in the OS interface layer in the SIGAR C code). I did some experiments under Linux to get this value and its root very intertwind with level permissions to query the hardware. For Windows, you should be fine. For Linux have a way to pass a value configured in your application.

  OS: Windows 7 (64-bit)

  My son's computer was on the fritz. No Moose OS disks, so I bought a recovery disc for HP. Not good. Machine attempted to run records, but stopped far from completion due to HARD disk failures. HARD drive failed the disk test HARD Insider bios. Replaced by the new Seagate. Added also 4 GB of RAM for total 8 Gb. BIOS test the RAM and the HARD disk as good. Yay!

  BUT, when running Windows 7 recovery discs, I get the "Windows is loading files...". "black screen with the loading bar, first quickly, then slowly." Can I get the promise of "Starting Windows", but it fails and the system seems to reboot to the recovery disks in an infinite loop. Black loading screen, to windows to count, to restart it, to the black loading screen... Again and again and again. I can F8 safe mode that just brings back us to the loop.

  Somewhere I heard tell that there was a problem with the HP startup with a new disk or the recovery disks and get the file sp44645.exe from Cyberlink, put on a CD and boot from there. Got the file, set the bios to boot and "No boot device - insert the diskette in the book and press a key." Rechecked. I'm starting the CD player (otherwise why Windows Life recovery disks?)

  Hmm. Bios sees the HARD drive. Recovery of Windows of DVD starts but loops. No bootable CD bootable file.

  I'm a bit confuzzled (confused/perplexed)? Where is the real failure here?

  Good news so far. Hope by now that you have managed to successfully recover (didn't see it in time to pray ). If you've had success, you can try reinstalling the extra ram.

• Audio device plays boring loop forever, even if disabled.

  I had a problem on multiple computers, Windows 7 & 8, where sometimes if a program crashes or is not closed correctly, the audio device that used the program will continuously play a short segment (maybe a tenth of a second) audio in an endless loop, until the computer is restarted.
  The only other way to cut noise is to transform the master up to 0 volume slider. We have tried to disable the audio device, but oddly the sound would still play so THAT the device has been DISABLED. Hibernation and then wake the computer also has not resolved the problem, even if it turns off virtually everything. This makes it appear as a driver issue, as RAM is the only thing preserved through hibernation.
  Is there a way to reset the driver somehow to make this problem go away? Or is there another solution here?

  I found how to solve the problem on mine:

  1. go to: Control Panel > hardware and sound > manage Audio devices
  2. Select the annoying audio device, and then click Properties.
  3. click on properties under the controller information.
  4. click on change settings.
  5. Select the driver tab and then click on disable. Press Yes when asked for confirmation.
  6. then press Activate.

• How I WRITE VISA to 2 devices of a while loop?

  I have developed a fairly complex vi that reads data from two sensors and controls SERIES written to two engine controllers.  The idea is to send the engine controls more or less "simultaneously", and they are generally not the same commands.  The two motor controls are determined by the sensor input with each iteration of the WHILE loop and subsequently sent to the VISA WRITE motor controller.  I was getting an errors and failures with the vi, then, we decided to break up and test the components individually.  In the original vi, I had two sets of VISA OPEN, WRITE, NEAR wired inside the WHILE loop and he sent two orders for both engines successfully.

  The test code I have attached here, "simple VISA speed controller rev1.vi" has the VISA sequence configured around the loop according to the advice of OR.  He suggested that the VISA OPEN and CLOSE while loop and wiring outside the VISA two WRITE such as shown.  However, in this configuration, only the command of the CHANNEL 3 runs.  The CHAIN 1 command does not run.  The string ' / 1V...» "engine controls 1, and" / 3V... " "engine controls 3.  So, by changing the 1 and 3, I order two this vi engines, but only, the chain is the first VISA WRITE running effectively, regardless of the engine is selected in the order of the string.  There is no malfunction of the motor or wiring, and I order the two motors separately using the software provided with the manufacturer of the motor controller, therefore, the hardware has been confirmed to work properly.  I use NI USB-RS232 to send the string on the motors controllers.  Motor controllers are connected in Garland, and each has a switch address so 1 engine knows how to respond to ' / 1V...» «and the engine with the value '3' address switch responds to ' / 3V...» "etc.

  The other code attached here, "simple VISA speed controller 2 motors.vi" sends the two commands at the same time.

  So, why the second VISA WRITE does not work the '... rev1.vi '?

  Try it, start your devide WITHOUT unplugging the charger, which has worked for me several times. Hope this works for you.

• BlackBerry Passport loop of reboot. Support of BB does not recognize my device.

  My passport is currently a brick. I recently did an OTA 10.3.1.2000 update something, and about a week later, the phone is off. Connection it keeps restarting. I noticed that it would restart spontaneously since I got it, no matter what version was running on it. I'd take my pocket, it is hot, and all open applications would have generic previews.

  The real problem is that the abstraction layer special BB set up to keep phones carrier out of the support queue crashes me because apparently the PIN I is not recorded by Amazon. Anyway is to a human being behind the BB support? Apparently, with their position in the Smartphone market tenous, they did not doubledown on the service the customer...

  I read my first post again and realized I left an inference here on Amazon, but did not state it's where I bought it. But tl; Dr. the thread:

  We have a Dell Inspiron with windows 8 (or could be 8.1 (impossible to verify at the moment).)  He is 13 months old.  It seems that the hard drive is crashed and it is unreadable.   However, he wasn't give disk errors and the disk was not full and routine maintenance had not produced any bad sectors before that.   Question is can it be something else went wrong so that it cannot read the disc?  Or a software issue that if I could boot from a USB data key I could return to a system of prior work? And capture the error dump file?   I have a laptop with the same operating system can I create a bootable usb of who?

  You have installed another type of player... USB or other?

  Maybe it's that hard stop has messed up your boot sequence...

  Can you get the menu for Options and startup in the Bios itself, to check the setting...

  I have this happen every now and then when I'm messing with stuff, and one of my gadgets confuses the Bios boot sequence...

  Check to see if it is set on the HARD disk, or maybe it has to do something about EFI\UEFI if your computer supports only... Most of the newer ones with Win 8 preinstalled do.

• Windows machine is in a constant reboot loop. HP has been working on the device and there is no hardware problem. Microsoft support said there are corrupted in windows files and we were able to repair windows.

Apple suggested I install a product open source, Ubuntu and use the file manager in this OS to unload the files. I studied a little and it seems too risky.  My question is this; What is the best way to save my files as part of the reboot process?
