Loop drops when connected wireless (NI 9191)

Hello

I can't understand why an a chassis OR cDAQ 9191 a connection drops when connected wireless and works

perfectly when it is connected to the LAN.

I wrote a small essay VI to check the accuracy of the connection. The chassis has a module of e/s 9375 OR plugged.

A Moxa AWK3121 is used as a wireless access point. What I do is check 5 digital inputs and control outputs 3 digital.

The outputs are continuously placed power at a different pace. I use a loop of events and a main loopt that communicates

on the chassis at a rate of 10ms loop.

The chassis, the laptop and the Moxa A.P. are all close together on my desk. The Wifi signal is excellent.

Now, the code I wrote is probably not optimal.

But...  If I start by connecting the chassis with a LAN cable to my laptop, Wifi disabled, Local bound. Communication is perfect.

No drops between loops and real-time.

No communication error. Runtime was 52 minutes.

Second test. Connected the chassis to the A. P. Moxa with LAN cable. Laptop connected wireless to the A.P. Moxa

Chassis in Local link. IK can access the chassis in Max no problem.

When I run my test, I immediately see pauzes loop. After a minute you can already a difference of 20 sec.

between calculated looptime and in real time. The led on the chassis will sometimes market.

When the light is out, the loop is pending. (Which is normal because I assumed that the acquisition of data VI are awaiting response).

After appr.10 minutes the error-50405 'no transfer in progress because the transfer was abandoned by the customer'.

If I look at the timings, there is already a difference more then 5 minutes between the moment where the loop and real-time.

I tested with the chassis and the PC last connected wireless to the A.P. Moxa

I don't have the error of 50405, but once again the loop drops. After 10 minutes, we went from 2 minutes.

Someone at - it experience with wireless with the NI 9191 chassis connections?

Can I change my code? I've put something? (I'm a newbie to Labview)

For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Frankie.

LabVIEW 2014 SP1 (32-bit) on Windows 7 Enterprise (X 64)

Chassis and Moxa all updated to the latest firmware.

  • Printer offline depending on laptop when connected wireless

Hi I have a wireless c309a printer connected to my laptop via a netgear router. My children, off the printer and now it is back on the laptop says that it is offline. I reported a test of the wireless network that says that everything is fine and it is connected. When I put the IP address in the web browser, it tells me that the printer is connected and everything works. So what's happening? Why not print?

Yes, if the IP address of the printer changes all the time your computer may have a difficult time finding.

We will set an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you know what it is, set an IP address outside this range but not exceeding 254 (the last number of the address). If you don't know it, enter the current IP address.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Let the gateway and DNS white. Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

  • Canning Internet connection drops when the computer is connected to the PS3 via an Ethernet cable.

    Original title: Shared network problem

I am trying to use a shared network, configure as follows. My computer connect wireless to my router. My PS3, however, seems to be really slow when connecting wireless to the router and is at a proper speed when connected via ethernet. So, I have my PS3 connected to my computer with an ethernet cable. I put the wifi connection to be shared. Next, I set up my PS3 to connect to cable internet. Has gone through the steps and connected properly and at full speed too. However, there is a problem. My PC guard 'give up' connection to my router, while remaining connected to the PS3. I have to manually connect to my router again, regardless of the connection automatically option. Almost as if my PC is to use ethernet for internet access, (which he won't get that which is connected to the PS3) and so it loses the wifi connection. This abandonment happens around every 5 minutes or more.

Is it possible to keep my PC connected to my wireless router and still be connected to my PS3 through ethernet to connect my PS3 using my PC?

The problem seems to have 'fixed itself. I tried messing around with the connections that would not work even the bridge. Then I've switched back to ICS and did not have a disconnect since then.

So the problem is now resolved, but don't know how?
Whatever it is, I am very grateful for your help Manasa, it is well appreciated!
  • g 3 drops once connected wifi

Usually when I'm connected wireless 3 g, says again but in white. Now, when connected wireless 3g grave and only lights up when I turn off the wireless. Any ideas if this is normal after the update?

I can say I've seen a number of different iterations. WIFI connected without side of 3G, WIFI connected with a white symbol of 3G and WIFI sometimes connected with a blue symbol of 3G. I think someone has explained that a blue symbol means 3G is connected and also connected to Google's servers, where whites: data but not connected to google's servers. Obviously WIFI and 3G can be connected at the same time, so it seems that what watch is not always accurate. It would be good to know what is normal to show.

I just installed a Belkin modem-router - which went well. Can I connect WiFi gadgets etc. I can also connect to the internet via a network cable to my pc. I also installed a belkin usb wireless adapter and in Device Manager, says it is enabled and works.

My problem is, I have no way of choice get a WiFi PC to display in the list (from the notification area) and cannot get the pc to give me options to create a wi - fi connection. The more I get to try to do that is "unexpected error"!

If someone could help on this - I would be very grateful

Good news - update of my ongoing saga with this Belkin modem/router.

Got the pc to see wi - fi now. It turned out to be the Zone Alarm! As the router has a firewall, I uninstalled Zone Alarm completely. Also, I went into the properties of belkin usb and checked it was the most recent drivers, it does not so I installed them.

    So far so good

    Thank you

    Hello

I think that the reason for this problem is that you WiFi signal is too weak in other rooms.
You can try to change the WiFi channel and may also try to disable Wlan energy saving
These parameters may be changed in the Device Manager-> card Wlan-> properties-> Advanced tab.

But to be honest I m not sure if this will help you.
I have a similar problem with my Toshiba laptop not
The WiFi signal is too low in my other room there are two walls and it s clearly perceptible for me when the WiFi signal is ok, and the WiFi signal is too weak.

As soon as I stop my VPN connection, all of my prints are made.

    How to solve this problem?

My COMPUTER support explained to me that the only why do the job is to stop the wireless connection and use a USB connection.

    Do you have another solution?

Also, how to change USB connection wireless connection? I found the solution on the other hand, but not like I need.

Thanks a lot for your help!

    Hello

You can print to the printer from a computer connected to the same local network as the printer, by connecting to a USB port, you can print from the same local computer on the pritner, you will not be able to print from the remote desktop, the PC and the printer must be connected to the same LAN to print.

You should be able to use the wireless on the other laptop, as long as this laptop is connected to the local network and the printer is connected too you can print on it, by connecting the USB cable, we did not unplug the pritner from the local network and therefore printing wirelessly from other computers on this network is available with no difference.

    Hope that helps,

    Shlomi

  • network unidentified - when connecting on the wireless

I have laptop HP Pavilion running Vista.  When you try to connect wirelessly I get the unidentified network error.  The other two laptops at home can connect to radio very well, so there is no problem with the router wireless or SPrint aircard.  I finished everything I could find on the internet about this error - without success.  I spent more than 4 hours with the help of HP, more recently, they had me do a "recovery" to set all hardware and software to the factory settings.  Still no luck.  This computer can connect very well with an ethernet cable.  I can connect wirelessly, but can not go on the internet.  Any ideas?  If so, I don't know much about computers... simple steps would be appreciated.

    Hello:

What model of wireless card you have in your laptop?

If you have an Atheros, try this driver and see if that fixes it.

  • Second laptop unable to connect; When trying to connect wirelessly, says connection is successful, but the Public unidentified network, no Internet.

    Hi all.

I'm really sorry to post this question, I must have read 100 other threads on this topic, but none of the solutions seem to work for me.

I have a home set wireless network in place, which may not have a lot of problems with it that I have a laptop W7 which has a perfect wireless connection, and also our TV connect when you want, as do our phones and Xbox.

We bought a second hand Acer aspire laptop for our daughter. It is running Vista Edition family Basic. Even if she had the factory reset done on this, because we can connect to the router with an ethernet cable and it works very well, we managed to ensure that all updates of Windows etc are all complete.

When trying to connect wirelessly, it says connection successful, but it is to a Public unidentified network, and there is no Internet. Also, even if it says Local access, we cannot connect to the router settings page is.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the built-in wireless adapter and updated the driver to do this, he says that he is as up-to-date as possible.

I checked that DHCP is enabled, we tried dynamic and static IP addresses, we have disabled and re ipv6 enabled, we used the command prompt to reset winsock and stack ip, I looked into msconfig services for service # Id_String1.6844f930_1628_4223_b5cc_5bb94b879762 # Apple off but it isn't here.

I have a real dislike for Norton / products McAfee and there is none of these on the laptop. We will install Comodo Internet Security, Eusing Registry Cleaner, Spybot S & D and Spyware Blaster as soon as the wireless is configured and that the Windows Firewall is disabled.

We also have many turns of the spin off the coast and laptops, etc. and deactivation and activation of the adapter.

It seems that all the usual solutions for the lack of connection are not the culprits this time.

This isn't a problem.  This is the standard behavior.  You are connected to the side LAN of the router that is isolated from the side WAN (uplink).  This is the mode of operation of routers.

    Hello again,

When my Windows-8 HP Slimline Pavillion is connected to an Ethernet port on my router wired, the installer for my 3510 (already well running wireless - is no longer cable) can perfectly find.  A my scan application and printer home page on the work of PC (display of ink, etc.) fine, as does impression on her.

The 3510 has a fixed IP address in my router (see my other post on airprint not working do not).

My HP machine, if you unplug the Ethernet cable, everything is configured to connect wireless to my router (which she does very well and gets me internet access, etc.).  It ias 1 set (static) IP address in place in my Cisco/Linksys router to the wired connection and a second (static) for wireless connection - because the HP machine has different addresses for Wi - Fi and wireless.

My problem is when BOTH my PC and the 3510 are wireless, printer configuration 3510 CANNOT find the printer 3510 is clearly there and running.  The applet or task of scanning bar shows "plugged in."  He said that the tests are not available.

Wireless configs should be set to the host OS, unless the wireless usb is attached directly to comments.

For mode bridged you have, connect to the guest is actually nothing else that a wired connection and XP won't be able to use it as wireless (except usb of course).

This means that your association and authentication to the AP will have on the host operating system linux tools.
