  MY friend gave me a duplex unit to another printer 6100 series he had. We thought that it would be compatible. The HP site says that my all-in-one OfficeJet 6110 can use a duplexer, but that's all he says: no model number and no installation instruction.  Does anyone have any info or suggestions? I can't know just by looking at my printer.  (The duplexer No. FPU is C9101A).

  To install the duplexer, you must remove the rear blankpanel of your OJ 6110.  The rear panel will be approximately 9 "wide and 4" high with two s tab that can be moved together in the output panel.  Snap the duplexer in place once it is removed.  Make sure that it is oriented correctly, the label must be on the bottom.  Use large buttons on the ends of the duplex unit to release the duplexer if it is to be removed or moved.

  With the duplex unit installed, you will need to configure it so that it is recognized by the driver.  See the post here for more information on activation of the duplexer.

  The HP Photosmart C4680 is not have a duplexer and it does not support duplex printing (print automatically on both sides).

I would use the photo cartridge, but my question is:

  I understand that, with the combo, pack of ink you bought came with a Photo black cartridge, and you're wanting to use it in your printer. In regards to your printer, it is not compatible with the black cartridge Photo, both black and Photo black cartridges are not interchangeable.   I ordered ink cartridges Combo Pack for the 7520 HP which includes a XL Black and color cartridges. However, I need the black size cartridge regular.  After having removed the black cartridge regular size and noting its product number (CR283W), I went to the HP site.  The Web site search indicates that the product number is invalid.  Then I called the HP support line. They have confirmed that it is not valid and sought-after product number to another number. After 15 minutes, I was directed to the shipping department. The shipping department was very helpful, but could not give me the information I need.  Please, please, please, can someone give me a product for a black size cartridge number regular to adapt to the HP7520?  I have the XL size black cartridge, I need the ordinary black.  Thank you.

  The 'regular size black' is a photo, available in regular or XL capacity cartrdige.  The number of actual product will vary depending on the country in which you stand, but you can find the correct information site about HP SureSupply.

  I have had this printer for 8 or 9 months and have been printing with this 3 or 4 times a week. I changed the cartridges twice. My black cratridge began printing sporatically and I replaced it with a new cartridge. (it was almost empty)

  Now, nothing will be printed in black. I ran the cleaning cycle twice on the new cartridge without success. I returned to my dealer and purchase of all new cartridges (black, cyan, magenta and yellow) and installed all 4 carts and print a test page. All colours printed correctly... but not black!  I printed again the diagnosis Page print twice and printing clean cycle twice without success.

  Does anyone have and suggestions? The unit is still under warranty.

  Unplug the printer from the PC.

  Revo and see if he can find any installed printer HP software.  If so, right-click the icon of the software and choose uninstall.  During the process you may be asked to remove the registry entries.  If you are, just select and click on delete.  Do the same for any left over files and folders.  When finished, restart the PC.

  Disable any Antivirus and Antispyware software.

  Now, double-click the installer on your desktop to start the installation, the connection of the printer when you are asked.
