  Adding to what James said, this is true for Lightroom and Photoshop. In other words, do not necessarily install previous versions, but all by installing the latest versions, in this case 5 Lightroom and PS CS6, you key in series for previous versions as well with the current criteria.

• Problem exporting in CS6

  Nice day

  I have a problem with the export of PDF files from indesign. When you try to export Indesign cs6 in PDF format the exported folder either disappears or are 0KB. I am in the wrong and there seems to be something in the file because on the other computer, the problem persists. Actually, I have identified two pages that seem to be the source of the problem, when I remove the document exports. I Just Don t know how to find out which element (s) it's on these pages.

  First make a copy of your backup file.

  Start to break down the two pages.

  Remove half the items on the page.

  Do not move the items to pasteboard

  Try to export

  Rinse and repeat until what you have reduced the problem more far.

• Export InDesign CS6 does not

  I use Indesign CS6, on Windows 7.

  Export in jpeg and PDF export has stopped working.

  This is what happens:

  • When I export to JPEG, without export window appears, and nothing is exported.
  • When I export in pdf, in some cases no window appears.  But sometimes, an export window appears and I can choose the presets, but all options are empty gray windows

  (I created a new document with only a textframe with a single word, to test generate them screenshots.)

  • When I close then, indesign crashes!

  I tried the following:

  • Restart the pc
  • cache cleanup
  • export from a new file almost empty
  • Recreate InDesign preferences files
  • generate a PDF from my Illustrator file still works

  A few days earlier, things worked again perfectly.  I don't know what has changed since then to make export stop working.

  Any help would be appreciated,

  I deleted the complete C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign\Version 8.0

  It's working now.

  Yet to know what settings are lost now, but at least that I can continue my work.

  Ian, I LOVE you! It worked! I've renamed the preferences file (I never delete something crucial), opened LR5, had to register and then to convert the old LR4 LR5 catalog catalog. And now it works.

• Creation of C++ objects within an exporter plugin (CS6 SDK)

  I downloaded the SDK from Adobe CS6.  In the example of the exporter, within the exSelBeginInstance(), there are calls to the API 'suite of memory '.  He grabs little memory (when running) for an array of struct/C.

  the suite of adobe memory should not be used for this sort of thing.

  Just use the new operator as you normally would.

  the key is to store all pointers to your allocated dynamically in the lRec (IE private data) so that the EndInstance, you can take responsibility for all of the delete (lRec-> xxxxx), you need to do to clean.

  I use Indesign CS6 to export an epub book. Problems with the machines and balls numbers and spacing issues. However, I made a few adjustments and get a pretty decent epub. Here's the question: when I convert my epub into Mobi by using Calibre, I get double chips and double numbers in my lists. I used the same process to create a file to Mobi in Indesign 5.5 a few months with no problems. So I took one of my files CS6, it has exported to IDML, opened in CS5.5 and exported to ePub. Then, I took this epub and converted into Mobi by using Calibre. No double chips or numbers. If the problem comes from Indesign CS6.

  Anyone else had this problem. Any other ideas on how to get a clean Mobi file of CS6?

  You should get the 8.0.1 update for InDesign CS6. It fixes several bugs EPUB, including the problem of 'space before' and the 'epub-Ruby"(that is, I thought for the Japanese language.

• My entire project won't export!

  So I have finished editing a film project and when I went to export, export fine. The only problem is, is that when I go to watch it after you export (as in, I watch it on the file is exported in) it starts like 15 seconds or more in the video. I can't return early because mark the 15 seconds (or however long it is) IS THE BEGINNING OF THE VIDEO. So, to be more understanding, it does not export my whole video, I lose the beginning and she starts later in the video. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME THIS PROJECT IS A HUGE FOR ME DEAL!

• Won't export captions

  For some reason any captioning in my calendar will not export. The captions are on CEA-608 CC1. They appear in the program window when I'm editing, however, they do not appear in the window when I export. The captions in the export settings settings match what are on my captions. I tried move captions to different titles, delete and re - insert and even using a source of completely different legend. I also tried the different export formats and they do not always appear on the exported file. Until the last days, I was able to export captions successfully but all of a sudden it no longer works.   Yes... a circle mask.  Or you could open the .jpg in Photoshop, remove 'white party' and re - save as a .png.

  That's what the guy who made the video uses.  It uses a .png.  You use a jpeg file.
