  Thanks for posting. He is a frequent comment/request.

  Several documents in a project is a relatively new feature in Comp (introduced in the update). That said, the product team knows that, since its introduction a few months ago, people want / need to be able to export an entire project in PDF format or on the desktop.

  I don't know much more now, but I don't know that the Comp team seeks to integrate this feature into the app.

• Yet CS4 transcode whole project for 1 exported sequence

  Hi all.  I'm relatively new to Premiere Pro and more.  I am using CS4 and I have the following problem: I have a sequence in Premiere Pro that has 5 clips about 1.5 minutes each - a total of 7.5 minutes.  If I export that sequence to still using Dynamic Link still transcodes the entire project before burning the 5 clips on DVD.  Given that the project has hundreds of clips that this transcoding takes about 1 1/2 hours.  If I import the 5 clips directly in still active, he only transcode 5 clips takes about 20 seconds each.  My question is why think still must transcode all of the project and, more importantly, is it possible to change this behavior.  Surely, we must recognize that there are 5 clips burn and transcodes than those.  Is there a setting I'm missing?

  I think it's time to close this debate.  After researching, I came to the conclusion that Jim and Stan are right still do not transcode the entire project, even if for this, some transformation on each element in the project (as I've seen in Windows Resource Monitor).  This led to an overload of 17 minutes if I was burning 5 clips or 50.  The real problem seems to be that any export of PP, or export to the media or dynamic links, use a process that is extremely intensive CPU (PProHeadless) for transcoding. The next thing I will try is to see if I can get PP to transcode files without using this process and see if it's faster.  In any case, this question is answered.  Thanks to Stan and Jim for help.

• make an an area smaller than the entire project does not work

  I recently installed 8 PE and converted from the original version of PE3 a project which is about 1 hour 40 minutes. I want to burn to a DVD and added some finishing touches.  Everything was fine, except that the entire project had a red line, so I decided to make the project (I couldn't see much if anything) which I did, and it took more than two days is more slower!  (35 video clips and 123715 images) OK, it finally finished so I saved the project.  Look at one was much better, if it's not perfect, but watchable.  So, back to the disk space, I deleted rendering files. Imagine my surprise when as soon as I did the red line is back, and intolerable listening to the edit mode.  The impression I got from PE8 help is that you could remove render after render files, as their goal had been finshed. I can't wait 2 days, so to accelerated rendering, I thought I would in small pieces, say 5 minutes each.  But even if I change the area of the workspace such as defined by the gray bar, (grabbing the end and drag it to a much smaller size - to the beginning of the project for example |) it begins to make the entire project again! what I am doing wrong?

  What you're looking for is the Windows address book (WAB, work area Bar). You can then assign the share of exports/only the area work for most export formats. Don't forget to do. It is usually with a drop-down menu, or a checkbox.

• Application of property Caption Text for an entire project changes

  I tried to make a change in a text caption like "BOLD" etc. and it applies to all of the same type of legend in an entire project. This feature really works?

  I don't think that it apply to all will work in this case. I believe it does not take into account formatting of fonts and is intended for things like the Type of legend, placement etc.

  If you are looking for an easy way to apply things like "BOLD" and whatnot, you can review the method of clicking file > export > project captions and subtitles. This should create a Microsoft Word file. You can then make the changes in Word and save the file. I stand to be corrected here, but I think that when you return back in Captivate via file > import > project captions and subtitles, formatting changes will come along for the ride.

• Won't export the full video

  CC high-end Pro.  Brand and tag, but the video won't export.  Read it, its only part of it.

  Your shot, "paillasse" chosen as material export, * not * "sequences outside."  Change it in the menu drop-down (lower-right, center-ish) and you should be good

• Draggable object throughout the entire project?

  I need to create an object, which

  1. appears with a toggle button (show/hide),
  2. must be movable,
  3. contains subtitles (closed captioning) for audio files,
  4. contains a button to get to the next slide. When you enter the next slide, the draggable object must stay on the same position as on the front blade, but the text of the following subtitle should be considered.

  Is it still possible in Captivate?

  You cannot drag a group or. Only unique objects can be dragged. D & D cannot be timed for an entire project.

  Subtitle (CC) cannot be moved or.

  I'm sorry, but without probably much JS programming, this isn't something that can be easily created.

  If you have made the timeline or out of a movie from the trial version, it will have this watermark on it.

  Once you have purchased and activated the software, you can remove the watermark by going to the folder directory on your computer where your project files are saved and deleting the folder Adobe Premiere elements preview files.

  I have a big event with the movement of the mouse on the many frameworks. My client may decide not to see the movement of the mouse. Is there a way I can remove the mouse from the entire project all at once, or what I should do a frame at a time?

  Hello

  Click any slide in the Panel of the film. Press Ctrl + A to select all slides. Right click on one of the blades and the point with the mouse context menu, and then clear the check box next to "show the mouse."

  Just open Windows Explorer to the location of your project. (Index, click on a topic in your project manager and choose the option to Explore)

  Copy the folder of the project by using Explorer and paste to create a new copy.

  In RoboHelp, open the copy, click file > rename project.

• linking projects; message for export

  Captivate 5 in TCS3 under Windows XP

  So many problems and contradictory responses on the forum.

  At the end of a project, I have a button that the user can click to go to another related .swf file.  Here are my problems:

  • Nowhere on the forums anyone said anything about linking to a .swf file.  I saw that said to post a link to the .cptx or the .htm, but not to a .swf messages.  Is it not possible to link .swf?
  • When I publish a .swf, I get a long message that says that the files and related projects may require export and all referenced projects and files with their corresponding HTML files must be copied into the output folder.  Should put all the files in a folder? So I should never use post it on folder option in the dialog box publish?
  • I didn't at this point due to the above error, but I don't see an option, click on the button to open the related project.  There may be cases where the user does not have to play the other project.  How do you get around that?

  Here is my understanding of the who is required to bind projects, but I would be grateful to be corrected by one of the Captivate gurus if I am wrong anywhere.

  (1) needed captivate swf an html wrapper works correctly, so you cannot bind successfully directly in a swf file.

  Menu Action of Captivate 2) for buttons and the blades offer an option 'Open URL or file' which seems promising, but that puts in place an absolute connection and makes the laptop project if the link points to the published version of a related project of Captivate. Use this option if you want to give your users a link to www.google.com (for example), but not for any link within the family of projects that make up your teaching material Captivate collection.

  (3) for the purpose of the latter, use the action 'Open another project', accessing the file cptx or cp for the project target. When you have set up the link, Captivate will establish the link so that it expects to find a file named {project name} .htm in the same folder as the project.

  Example: (i) Project_A contains a button that you want to that users click to open the published output of Project_B.

  (ii) the title of the draft that you have defined in the dialog box post of Project_B is (for example) 'Lesson 2', and cptx leader of Project_B is "2.cptx lesson".

  (iii) you set the action on the success of the button in Project_A as 'Open another project' and point the link to the 2.cptx lesson.

  (iv) you publish Project_A in a folder called 'Published lessons' (for example).

  (v) the button link in Project_A expects that the folder 'Lessons published' also contains a file named 'Lesson 2.htm' and its associated file 'lesson 2.swf. If you publish a Project_B in this folder, the link works correctly, but if you choose to publish Project_B in another folder (for example, 'plus lessons'), you will need to copy the 'lesson 2.htm' and the 'lesson 2.swf' files in the folder "more lessons" in the folder "published lessons."

• OWB copies the entire project into another environment repo

  We are using Oracle 10 g R2 and I'm still pretty much back to OWB. My question has probably been answered before but I can't find in the forum.

  -We have 3 repository environment (Dev, Test, Prod).
  -Connection users Dev
  -In Dev create us our projects, deploy and run for the initial test mappings
  -When everything works well, we put the location and configuration of the TEST environment. Yet once, deploy and test for the largest data set
  
  Question:
  -Is it possible to copy entire projects from Dev to TEST environment? If so, please help me on how to do it.

  Although the change location and Setup for the control center of one environment in another works very well. For me, having the copy test is more organize and easier to manage.

  After importing, you can check if all the objects have been imported into the newspaper. If the project has not been recognized, all internal objects will fail.
  But first you must choose if you want to match by name or id. If the projects have created isolated in each environment, you have to choose "by name". If project names are different, nothing will then be imported. I only use 'match by id' when a project is the result of a previous import from the other project.
  In addition, you must choose if you want to merge or replace objects, because you'll have a lot of duplicate objects. If you have selected 'create only' and objects was already there, nothing happens.
