Mac pro 1.1 random reboot several times in a row

Hi all, the random reboot started to happen about a month before, it wasn't something like this before. The problem generally (not all the time) appears the first time of the day that I start the mac and usually several times in a row when this happens; some of the recovery happens during mac startup screen. I tried to reset the SMC but hopeless. Also tried out dusting and cleaning of the mac. Any suggestions?

  • Y550 BSOD / reboot several times per day

At first, I thought I had problems with a recent update of the MS software, but now I'm leaning towards maybe (?) I have some hardware issues (hypothesis!).

After a brief search, I ran memtest on my Y550, but one that is transmitted without any problems. In fact, in these last days, I notice that my Y550 will crash and reboot several times a day.

    Here's what I can find in memory.dmp that I * think * may be useful (?).

  • Virus on iPhone to clicking on a link. Compound random number several times. What should I do?

I clicked on a link on Twitter, and then on this site, he asked to check my browser compatibility. When I click on this box he started numbering to a random number and several times. I got calls as fast I have could and also turned my phone works, but I'm afraid that my information may be compromised. What should I do? Thanks to help from there.

  • Lose the connection to Windows 7 computer on a network, have to reboot several times a day to keep XP & Vista connected computers on it.

I have a Windows 7, with other Vista and XP computers on a network.  I use MSHOME as the doman. I have disabled the firewall, I disabled Ipv6 on Windows 7 computer.  I use no password on the network.  I have to restart my Windows 7 computer several times a day because regularly it will block other computers and network equipment.  I reboot will allow everyone a new access for a couple of hours, then boom, no one can get to me.  Are there reasons that this could happen?

    Hello

The question you posted would be better suited in the TechNet Forums. I would recommend posting your query in the Forums of Windows 7 networking.

  • OfficeJet 6500 E709n series cannot be contacted over the network. Reinstalled, rebooted several times.

Running Win 7/32 on two different computers HP laptop and updates on 2 iPhones and 2 iPad2s. I also have DirecTV whole House wireless set up through this network. The router is an E4200 of Cisco (Linksys), with the latest firmware and software updates, running Mixed Mode WPA2/WPA encryption.

I installed, removed, rebooted and reinstalled the printer several times and do not see it, other than on the router's routing tables. I am unable to ping and can't see any (other than Cisco) software.

I have tried to use the installation wizard 'automatic' in the menu of the printer #8, has made 'restore defaults', is 'advanced configuration', IP address and used auto and even with the SSID and key, I'm headed to an IP address that is not even close to be part of my network. I tried manual IP and combination of wireless configuration and put the IP address that shows on the Cisco Routing table. I tried "restore default settings", and then reinstalled the software after you have uninstalled and restarted everything. I tried HP Network Diagnostic Utility, and it can't find any problems on my network, another it does not find the printer.

Nothing is allowing me to see the printer, except when I connect it via USB.

Does anyone have any ideas where I can go for an answer?

I found a solution validated by PrintDoc that worked:

A static IP address is always a good idea for a printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you know what it is, set an IP address outside this range but not exceeding 254 (the last number of the address). If you don't know it, enter the current IP address.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Let the gateway and DNS white. Click on ' apply

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

-instead of remake "Add a printer", I was able to change the properties of my current setup and add a new TCP/IP port, using the name of the computer, I had specified in the static DHCP entry in my router. Finally, it worked and I'm now able to print again from my laptop and the application of 'Print-N-Share' on my iPad and iPhone.

Thanks PrintDoc! You got me most of the way and I managed to finish it.

first of all, please excuse my bad English.

I have my milestone (Thailand) update froyo a few days ago. After the update is complete. Most everything is OK, but I have an extremely important problem.

Auto restart Miestone several times a day (3 - 4 times) then I try factory Autozero my device, but the problem did not go.

Please top me how I can slove this problem.

    Thank you.

Try to turn off your phone and holding the X button and the button of the camera on the keyboard when turning on/off.

A road sign (triangle with "!") should appear, then press volume up button and camera button at the same time.

A menu should appear, choose factory reset and then wipe cache partition.

    Then, restart the phone.

It worked perfectly for me - but I have a European stage - so there is no guarantee I can give to you.

  • Computer reboot several times

    Hello

One of my friend's computer is restart several times as soon as it tries to connect to his computer... He has accidentally two anti software virus installed on his computer, and therefore, this problem exists... Please suggest me a solution...

    Pirotte

This may seem a stupid question, but it has enough RAM on his computer?
If he got enough RAM for opening 1 AV program to load at startup, and it has installed 2, then the computer would not have enough RAM, and it could keep just restart.

  • iPad Pro 9.7 random reboot

Normally don't think much this, but, I have an iPad 2 day old Pro 9.7 the GB 128 who has restart on me twice so far. In the middle of using it, it will cut the Apple logo on black background for a minute before returning to the password screen. Curiously, he will accept Touch ID to place one password, something he usually does when it loses its power. No idea on the cause or how to understand? I had a chat with technical support, but they only help they could provide was to do a restore. I just realized, but my concern is that I have installed an app or something causing the iPad enabled crashing and it will just continue to do so due to misapplication.

I'd pay just pay attention to it. Make a note of what app you're using and how it reacts.

You can still install your applications one at a time (if you have not installed all back on of course) and see that there is upward

  • I get a message when you try to install firefox 3.6.10 that says: "your computer must be restarted to complete a previous uninstall of Firefox." I rebooted several times, but still get this message. How can I make this?

I tried to do the update on Firefox 3.6.9 and he said that it could not update because Firefox was still running even if she is not in the list of processes in the Task Manager. I decided to reinstall Firefox and above message is now shown every time I restart my computer and try to install Firefox 3.6.10.

Did you also remove the Firefox program folder to do a clean reinstall?

It seems that some files are still in use and cannot be replaced by the updater.

You may need to remove the updates folder to delete files that have been downloaded.

I bought a new laptop Toshiba i3 a few months ago and it came with windows 7. 1 day, updates every time that I shut my computer down and restarting I 16 (always the same number) are ready to install. It's extremely annoying to wai through the update whenever I closed my computer. I don't think that they are the same updates because sometimes I had to wait real plus for updates complete. I had a Time Machine backup for just once I migrated the iMac for Macbook, thinking my remove programs and components in some sort of corrupted unwanted video Photoshop. It's the same thing. Migration does not work for Adobe products.  You must install using files of facilities.  Uninstall what you have currently on the computer, and then use the cleaning tool.  After that, download the installation files and install using your serial number.

-Tried to hold down option, also I tried shift key and no change in the attempts to restart.

-Unplug the power cord for a few minutes, but no help.

    Any other suggestions?

Try to do a reset of the PRAM, if this does not work try starting on the (command-R) recovery Partition at startup and run disk utility - repair disk. If errors appear on your hard drive is damaged and must be replaced.
