Magneto-optique disk corrupted

Dear Sir or Madam:

I have a Fujitsu magneto-optique drive and several disks. While one of these disks was in the computer, I forgot to remove it before turning off the computer. So far the drive had worked well. Immediately, I turned the computer back and tried to remove this disc but I couldn't not except through the mechanical elimination of emergency, that is to insert a needle into a small hole on the hard drive. Since then, the player is unable to recognize or read this disc and the disc cannot be removed by the ejection of software or the eject button. It can only be removed by the mechanical elimination of emergency. Another drive magneto-optique, I tried worked fine. The information on the first disk must have been corrupted and unreadable. Is it possible to fix or delete corrupt data and the restore to the normal operating state disc?

After many attempts with the laptop HP Recovery Manager (which only allows a sequence/run), I managed to complete a series of 5 DVDs of recovery disks. However, # 1 (of 5, being a DVD-R) DVD is partially illegible and thus corrupted.

Other (4-5 on 5) were burned on DVD + 5, which proved much more reliable first time.

How do I re - energize a repetition of Recovery Manager? HP should give me permission to do... for some reason any?

    OS = Windows 8.1, incidentally.

    Hey EddyAB,

No worries over information I sooner I can isolate what is happening and why. Unfortunately, Microsoft allows only 1 set of discs to do. You don't have the chance to create a repair disk. You have the option to purchase these HP discs. You also have the possibility to download from the sites of third parties for this search on Google.

You could look at this link to create a USB stick recovery.

    Hope this information is useful.

    Thank you.

  • Disk corrupted

Disk utility tells me my disc is damaged and said he needs repair, but did not offer to fix it. How can I do this? MacBook pro 2010 with the latest operating system.

The easiest is to start in safe mode, (hold the SHIFT key as you restart) who will spend about five minutes on the repairs that the first thing is the case, then request your user name and password, even you auto-login.

If it seems to work OK in Mode almost without fail, you can usually restart regular mode (it takes a little more time only), and then be fine.

I suggest you run Seagate SeaTools from the following link (works also with discs hard non-Seagate) and scanning of the hard drive:

    http://www.Seagate.com/support/downloads/item/SeaTools-DOS-master/

This guide will be helpful in the use of SeaTools:

    http://www.Seagate.com/files/staticfiles/support/downloads/SeaTools/SeaTools-DOS-Guide.PDF

If there is no bad sectors repairable, SeaTools redirect generally then, but if there are more bad sectors/irreparable of bad sectors, it is high time you backup the data from the hard drive and opt for a new hard drive. If the hard drive is under warranty, you can contact the manufacturer for free replacement support.

  • How can you fix error code 0F00:113 C that no appropriate disk is present?

I turned on my computer and a blue screen came up with a window. The window has three options: Test memory Test System and exit. I clicked on the exit and the dell splash screen started to load, then the screen came back to the top. I tested the memory of this time and everything was fine. I then tested the system and the error code came. My computer does not start. I can't even on the desktop.

It is likely that disk corruption or failure has occurred.

Use another computer to navigate on the web site of the manufacturer of the computer HD. Download the utility disk, bersion audit bootable. Burn it to CD or DVD. Start the computer to start from that and run disk checks. If the drive fails, replace it. Install your operating system backups or restore or a Windows 7 DVD disc set.

If the drive passes, and if you have a Windows 7 disc, try a startup repair.

  • Problem strange RAW corruption on master + backup hard drive

    Hello

I am a professional photographer and I have a problem of confusion with corrupted pictures. Although this technique is probably not Lightroom problem, I cannot think of a better place to ask and part of the issue is related to managing files in Lightroom. The problem coincided with the release of Lightroom 2015 CC-1, but I can't tell if it's somehow connected.

In short, a month after the download and processing a large amount of RAW CR2 photos, many of them have corrupted. I only learned this yesterday when I tried to export.

    Corruption looks like this: http://www.justphotos.ca/errors/MEM404067.jpg

The photo is not mine, but the problem is similar. Part of the photo seems normal, and the part is destroyed. Ratio varies.

    I performed following diagnosis:

    • CheckDisk from the Windows Explorer, including a review of surface - no problems found
    • inspecting SMART disk information (via Crystal disk Info) hard - the player gets in the 'good', without the obviously alarming parameter (although I'm no expert)
    • checked the RAM with memtest86 - no error
    • Rootkit and AVG scan antivirus - nothing found
    • Explore and Lightroom can normally handle files (copy, read, even develop), it's just that they are corrupt

Most important question first: does anyone know what can cause this kind of corruption and avoid the detection of all tests mentioned above? What to do about it?

Without doubt, if there was a problem with hard disk SATA cable or the motherboard

    — — — — — — — — — — — —

Here's a bit more background where things get strange, and where someone with LR knowledge might be useful.

The disk in question is a 4 WD to with tens of thousands of photos. I checked a large number of files at random, and so far found corruption in only two, chronologically one after another (which may mean that they are adjacent on the hard disk, but it can also not if she was significantly fragmented). There may be others, look at a RAWs after deleti

Photos were taken a month ago. I copied them manually a master drive (internal) and a backup drive (external USB, that I connect it only for backups). I looked at all the photos in Lightroom and post processed a few hundred. They were all very good. After that they justsat there for a month with no activity and no display (IE. "I can't know exactly when they are corrupt).

After post-processing, I used a software to synchronize folders of the master and backup drive. It copies the new files, existing files that are new or that have a different file size.

Next question is crucial, so please help me shed some light on this subject. Lightroom IN ANY WAY change the CR2 files themselves? I know that it creates XMP sidecars. But it in any case never changes the master RAW file?

This is important because I know for a fact that impeccable original RAW files copied manually on the backup disk. The synchronization software is not copy of corrupted files from the master disk unless they were changed somehow.

As far as I know, classic disk corruption is invisible to the OS or file system - when it occurs, file size or date modified are changed - only the physical data of origin on hard disc tray.

It may be of academic importance right now, but I need to know to change my backup solutions for the future.

    Thanks for your suggestions!

I use Windows Explorer for initial backup (when files are fresh off the memory cards) and later Karen's Replicator. Basically it compares just the folder main and backup with one set of rules. In my case, it replicates destruction and seeks new files and the changed files (by date and file size).

I can highly recommend FreeFileSync because it offers much more more available capacity and reports to the Replicator from Karen. After having compare them initial source of backup disks it provides a detailed report of the files to be added, deleted or updated. You can easily see the files and folders that will be removed or updated during a synchronization operation backup and do a quick test of validation.

Can anyone recommend software that would drive stress-test and detect physical defects possible with plates, battery or electronic? I guess the problem should be with the plates, because the files were not changed at any time for other parts of the chain could damage the flow of data through the reading and rewriting. But if Windows CheckDisk could not detect even a problem with the surface analysis, how plates can be the culprits?

All readers use control during the reading & writing data CRC to confirm the integrity of the data. Also with the degradation of the base of data errors would show in one or more of the INTELLIGENT information displays. Your car has no. It is quite possible that you encountered an error of intermittent system by reason of overloading, overheating or low supply voltage, etc. You can download the free SMART PassMark DiskCheckup utility and run the self-test extension.

You can use the free HW Monitor to check the system of base temperatures, voltages and fan speeds. If you have run Memtest86 only and not MemTest86 + you can run. Unfortunately, these memory testers all run in stand-alone mode, without the operating system loaded. This may seem like a good idea so that you can access and test all locations of memory, but he may not reveal memory problems that occur only with memory loaded and running in the OS and applications.

If you encounter other errors or system problems and two imported image files folders are affected it may have been a stroke of chance-event. The best suggestion that I can provide to help prevent it happening again is NOT move or rename files or folders after they are imported into LR. Using LR rating Keywording and Collection of tools and the filter bar, to organize and locate your image files, not folders. An inverter is also good protection against loss of same power infrequent or brown-outs.

  • have Firefox existing to use another hard drive completely

My hard drive on my laptop is running out. I get corruption especially when I run Firefox and constantly, run chkdsk because vista is not able to handle the constant of e/s. is it possible that I can transfer everything to my new hard drive USB so that my existing installation of Firefox does not access the old drive more? It seems to be the only application causing blue screens due to disk corruption. I will replace the drive but who want to be able to run Firefox until I do. (coming soon) Thank you.

Thank you very much @jscher2000 for lightning fast help. Success! At first, he wouldn't and kept back running like a new facility because I was running always Firefox 35 and when I checked it for info version automatically updated itself to 37.0.1, and now it starts from the D: drive as if it was from the c: drive, and it seems that access to drive c : internal is now minimal.

I also noticed that my ini file has been removed with the upgrade and it probably did not work with the v35 because I would probably have to edit it. (Isrelative and path). Yet once again, thank you so much, I wanted to really operate as before with all my recorded history as I have always run with 22 open tabs and never delete my history, cache or cookies, and is probably why it takes 3-4 minutes for my c: stop disk activity (firefox may close its open files) after I closed firefox. This seems to do what I want it to!

  • Display of shimmering red with Toshiba Portege S100

    Hello
After doing a few partition with partition magic, I returned to find that she had been unable to boot into windows and had a red screen now.
Restart in windows, I could get however now parts of the screen has a red screen (usually in black or blue screen bits).

I tired of restoration of the system, uninstalling and reinstalling display drivers and also update the BIOS. I also tried different distributions of CD live linux, but they also have a red tint and a few shimmering.

I do not have an external monitor to connect my laptop up but I suspect it's more a problem of hard disk corrupted than anything else. Does anyone have ideas outside of an erasure full + reinstalling windows?

    Hello

so, if you think that the hard drive then why Don t Exchange it and give it a try? I think that perhaps something of your graphics as vga or lcd chip subsystem could be faulty, but that's just my opinion. :)

If you are really trying to change the hard drive and you got no success, then I suggest you to contact a local servicepartner for a hardwarecheckup or maybe a repair. You are still in warranty?

  • MOKE initialization function program

    Hello

I am currently working as an intern at Drexel University and I am currently working with a program that operates a facility of Kerr magneto-optique effect Magnetometery. The program communicates with a series of instruments (specifically a diet, Gaussmeter, sourcemeter so some equiment to collect data) for the operation of an electromagnet that sweeps back a field a sample to get a cycle of magnetic hysteresis for the sample. To calibrate the instrument, we run a demagnetization (a separate LabVIEW program) program, which brings the remnant magnetization until about 3-5 Oe, which is acceptable. However, during the initialization of the main program (attached) by clicking on the arrow of execution in the toolbar, the field immediately falls to about-20 Oe. In this case before you set the parameters of the front panel and press the "Run" button in the VI himself. Can anyone help me identify where in the program it is initialized (if there is a problem with the program)? The electromagnet is controlled by the power supply, so it is likely that the program defines the power supply to a certain tension as opposed to the magnet to a certain intensity. I am extremely inexperienced with LabVIEW, screenshots, if any, would be extremely useful.

Thank you very much for your help,

    AF

EDIT: The password for the block diagram is "nosteven".

OK, the first thing is you need to get training. There are free tutorials available online that makes you in the right direction. In what concerns your previous experience, neither will be particularly useful in this endeavour. MATLAB because he is not a strongly typed language and Python because it is a programming environment based on text control flow. The two languages approach solving problems in a way that goes against how you think about problems in LV

In general, I would recommend (and I realize that some of this explanation could doesn't mean anything for you right now, but it will offer a "point of aim" at least) an event driven structure that implements a state machine. My feeling is that a large part of what will be the final state machine already exists in the logic using the enumeration. The first thing to do is to change the enumeration of a type definition, replace it everywhere wherever it occurs and then go through the States to give the labels from the enumeration which are descriptive of what happens in this State. Also add a new State called "initialize" to do the stuff that is currently outside of the loop.

With regard to the structure of the program itself, you want a while loop with a structure inside the event. The three events, you will need are a time-out event (this is where the state machine will go), a change event of value of button to activate the timeout and a value change event (new) stop button to stop the program. As it is written now it only runs a test and then stops. How to enable and disable the time-out is by changing the timeout value passed to it. -1 disables the event, any positive value sets the timeout for that number of milliseconds.

For Modularization, go through the code and start looking for bits of code that are duplicated and then put into subVIs.

Who will help you get started. New postal code you produce and we will do our best to guide you along the way.

  • HP e9105z Win 7 IE 11

Would be ' catalyst Control Centre: host application has stopped working "cause programs that may not work, as IE or Outlook? Chrome browser works OK. Monitor looks normal.

Jlh4431 OK, the error "error 0 x 1005: unable to copy the file from source to destination" seems to point to a recovery corrupted disk, or possible hard disk corruption. Hard drive corruption is more likely, given that you got the error during formatting. It may be fixable, but you must connect your hard drive to a computer that can analyze the disk for errors. If you do not have this ability in the best way to get up and running is to replace the drive and perform a recovery of HP to restore it to factory settings.

I found the error in the section "the other errors occur during the recovery process" in this document: solving the problems of recovery system (Windows Vista)

You wanted to get an idea of what other users think.  I am using and old XP SP3 system + with a great mix of older apps from 2000 to 2012.  In the past, I used yahoo and aol and MSN Live.  I reject yahoo and aol, too many security issues.  I used MSN for many years and he is the only Messenger with contact information on my computer.  He got me last year when I had to rebuild because of the problems of disk corruption.  After the reconstruction, I tried to use Live messenger, but ran into a lot of compatibility problems, so I have it dumped offshore.  I liked, but he came to the point where he couldn't even remember that my connection settings despite have a Live ID account that works on all other microsoft sites and seemed oblivious to my facebook account.  Live Messenger seems much better web connected, but MSN seems much better to use free question.  So, I need to choose between MSN and Live.  I wanted to look at a few comments before deciding and installation based on the experience of others.  Who would you recommend in my situation?

  • 0x000000ED error code is constantly before even I can connect on it please help!

Windows Update was downloading an updated when there was a power outage and now when I turn on the computer I get a blue screen before I can log on! He said "UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME" and technical information: "* STOP: 0x000000ED (0x8631F520, 0xC0000006, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) HELP Please URGENT I PANIC!"

Power outages unexpected when writing the disk often cause disk corruption.  In some cases, your only alternative is to re - install Windows on your hard drive.  But before that, try to boot with the CD of 'rescue' and try to perform a 'Chkdsk' with the /F or/r option.  One of my favorite Boot CD is "Hirens Boot Disk".
On another computer, download the Hirens .zip file, extract the files and burn a boot CD by double-clicking the file ".cmd" extracted from the .zip file.  Then take this CD on your problem machine and insert it into the CD drive and boot from this CD.  You may need to press a key to go into the BIOS and set the boot order to boot from the CD before the hard drive, but generally, you don't need to.

Once started, see if you can find your hard drive.   If you can, note the drive letter and do a chkdsk on your hard drive. There are many diagnostic programs on Hirens drive that could also help to recover your disk.
