• Dell XPS 13 TrackPad issues after driver update

  After updating my XPS 13 Cypress Ultrabook drivers for newer drivers published yesterday on the Support from Dell downloads page, every action (although still active) have stopped working. The trackpad itself always seems to work fine after the update of the driver, but no gestures work longer. They all worked just before the update.

  I tried the normal game of toggle, restart, update. But if someone has had this problem or knows how to solve?

  After much research and with the help of Terry B with send me a second XPS 13 and taking my previous one back to the laboratory, I found that the issue is actually with my Antivirus software. I use AVG, and I am at a loss to explain how, but I can restore scrolling and other gestures to uninstall. I can reproduce again lose its Setup again and perform a restart.

  I am at a loss as to what why, AVG allows the driver to start and work properly by any other measure, however, I'm on the verge of scrolling of web pages for a new virus scanner!

• Monitor the issue after Windows update

  I installed the Windows updates today, and after installing and restarting, the saturation of the color on my monitor is out of line. There is intense color saturation and it made all my files photo as well.

  Running windows 7 and a HP w2338h monitor.

  You should look through the updates installed to see if there was an update to the video card.  I would then check with the manufacturer of your video card for the latest driver.  If you just updated to the most recent and feel it affected the color then you can restore the previous driver.  Then you can contact the manufacturer of the video card on the driver and they know the issue and see if they are still aware and have a fix. • Login screen Windows 7 flashing quickly after Windows Update

  Hello everyone,

  The updates after last night, I have about 40 PC with this question. PC starts to accommodate the screen then freezes and the screen flashes quickly. Same result when it is started in safe mode. All PCs are Dell Vostro 360 s. short of putting form all the I don't know what to do. Ctrl-alt-del does nothing. They are essentially disabled and glued to the fast flashing welcome screen. Looks like a problem with the video driver for me but I have no way to uninstall or install a new one.

• Graphics error after latest update

  Windows 8.1 970 GTX graphics card. I get an error message:

  "Illustrator has detected an error with your material or graphics processing software and went to the preview of the CPU."

  I'm the technical team of the Illustrator.

  Starting 19.0.1 we implemented a back drop in CPU errors of OpenGL. There are various reasons why an OpenGL errors may arise from issues implemented in Illustrator, bug in the drivers, the lack of memory in the GPU to render the content, an error of computation on the GPU or even a bug in the OS etc...

  The reason why we have implemented a back fall with 19.0.1 is to prevent undesirable rendering problems when these errors occur. Please click on does not show them the check box and continue to work on Illustrator. Illustrator turn off automatically the GPU acceleration momentarily when it detects an error. This momentary exit ramp is applicable only for the current session. The next time you start Illustrator, we will try to reuse the GPU.

  With Apple and Microsoft we also work with different hardware vendors such as NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel is to get these issues resolved or to implement workaround in our own product.

• Issues after recent updates

  Since the new updates a few days ago I notice unusual behavior from my system.

  Startup time is unusually long. From the start, I now see a greyed 'Not' the circle with a line through to the square where the Apple Logo was.

  The system does not boot...

  In addition,

  If I'm returning from a "lock screen" I enter my password, and screen "stays" in what seems to be always the recovery password.

  If I scroll down, I can see all the apps that are running... I can then change the size of the window and my office is displayed correctly.

  My system is a 2011 with 16 GB i7...

  My neo v done face to exhaust the severe battery after that ics put up-to-date... I read out in blog many people complain about this... I can't resist some quantity to exhaust the battery but not this.much...

  my particular behavior of the battery:

  backlight off airplane mode + all back grounded apps off + data traffic off - phone just idling = battery lasts for only 4.5 hours

  backlight on + navigation for half an hour + battery 2 hours only.

  Please don't think I'm great... but here's the problem I meet...

  my phone is only 9 days old... my battery is genuine... I got it in a store selling authentic sony retail.

  one please suggest me a way to improve the battery life...

  OKH remember rooting may void your warranty, and you do so at your own risk

  But after rooting and the removal of bloatware, your experience would be great

• Plugins + Mediacore disappear after latest update first CC 2014?

  Just updated to the latest version first and when I loaded a project, I found that all my plugins disappeared. Thinking it was just a matter of Mediacore, I went to/Library/Application Support / Adobe / Common / Plug - Ins and found that it lacked my 8.0 folder! And what is more, almost all of my plugins (Twixtor, Red Giant, FilmConvert) were missing in the 7.0 folder!

  No idea of what is happening and what I can do about it?

  Anticipating that I could be loaded to redo my search for the mediacore starting with Macintosh HD (instead of the user's library), I found an interesting (but useless) difference when I started my user library - I also found my plugins for CS5 by CS6 files, which contained all my plugins.

  7.0 folder was still empty, and the 8.0 folder was still missing. See screenshots:

  

  

  Sort of found a fix:

  -Just moved all my Mediacore cs6 in the Mediacore 7.0 and that all my plugins released CC 2014.2
  -Had to reinstall FilmConvert, which is not too bad, but it's annoying that I have to update all my plugins S.redgiant again. May as well reinstall.

  It's weird how the 7.0 file now communicates with CC 2014.2 and its super annoying that he is essentially rid of all my plugins post-CS6. Fortunately just reinstall to 7.0 seems to work.

• Security issue after the update to Acrobat Pro 9.5.0 in 9.5.1

  BACKGROUND:  I have a MacPro running OS x 10.6.8.  I now have Acrobat Pro 9.5.1.  When I tried to upgrade from Acrobat Pro 9.5.0, I got an error message that says that my application could not be updated because it had been "modified" or a Word to that effect.  He told me to reinstall Acrobat Pro.  Dutifully, I inserted the disc of Installation 1 and started the chore.  He stopped and asked me to disable several security features because the installation could not go ahead until what I did.  I did as I was instructed and the installation was successful, including the update of all 18 Acrobat 9 Pro updates (Adobe don't use the Combo updates to relieve the consumer of such a daunting task?) But I digress...

  The problem is that, since I've done this installation and update, I tried to keep the security elements, I was instructed to turn off and I turned everything I could remember on.  It seems I missed one or more, because, when I now run MacScan, I get as high as tracking cookies detected twelve requiring a kidnapping where I received virtually no front.  I run MacScan daily and sometimes more often.  Since the update to Acrobat, I dared not unfamiliar web sites.  I went to my regular sites, but I must have forgotten to close a hole somewhere The QUESTION: can someone list all the safety measures that must be disabled before you install and update Acrobat?  I'm puzzled and I hate to be rejected which prevented the I.

  We generally recommend disable antivirus when you install or update our software as often times anti-virus software may complicate installations.  There is no further safety we recommend for normal installation of our software.

  I'm an apologist for the tedious process of update.  We approached it with Acrobat X where all updates are cumulative, but obviously likely a good consolation after the long task of updating to Acrobat 9.  In case you need to reinstall Acrobat 9 in the future, you can choose to ignore the restart request.  This will make the process much faster update for you.

  Hi all,

  I bought a Toshiba 40L7335D, serial number 70T04380.Tv was working perfect until the last firmware update. No, I have problem.
  When I reproduce any movie in 3d or 3d demo, I have bad reproduction. Picture is blurry and a bit blurry. It was a perfect image before update. And I have this problem only when I reproduce 3d movies/demo, I don't have this problem in menu or when I play normal movies (in 3d).
  I tried the two glasses I ask my friends to see the problem and each of them felt same question.
  My firmware is 7.1.92.61.01.1

  How can I reset firmware firmware to factory, cos it was perfect for me. Or how can I solve this problem with this firmware?

  What version of Firmware were you using before? Although, that would NOT (!) no difference in terms of performance 3D-picture.
  None of the FW which were published in the history of this model, version had a report any upgrades of the 3D image.

  So when you say, that the previous version of SW obtained the best results, there is no reason objective for this hypothesis. Please be aware of this.

• Photon: Mic not Muted after latest update w / car speakers

  Is there a setting to allow an appellant to be heard through the car speakers all do not cut the microphone?

  Seems VRT last update broke the power of fire this morning in my lab at home. ASA X 5506. cannot install policies and syslog shows:

  Managed to solve the problem by connecting to the ssh/console and by:

  sudo bash
  CD/var/sf/detection_engines / * GUID *.
  MV so_rules so_rules.old
  ln-s/var/cisco/deploy/pkg/var/cisco/packages/modules-1908-x86_64/so_rules so_rules

  Replace * GUID * above with the identifier unique on your system.

  And then push policies. Required URL filtering a restart of the module in order to start working again.

  Not sure, it is a recommended fix, but a good thing it is only a laboratory.

  Yes, there was a problem with the SRU version and it was taken out of the OCC.

  If you are on recommendation 6.0 is to upgrade the SRU that was released today and apply policy again.

• 5.4 LR does not not after latest update W10?

  a LR 5.4 autonomous upgraded to 5.7 for more than a year, everything worked without problems. App last week, LR could not complete the backup catalog more and now everything just do not start when I double click the icon.

  problem solved, removed and reinstalled LR 5.7.

  In hindsight (and with a lot of guess), something was wrong with the economy of catalog and save, LR or the Samsung SSD corrupt both versions, so LR has stopped working. Fortunately, I have offline backups, so that all in good order now

• Problems after Windows Update on Vista wireless

  It seems that other people have a similar problem, but I'll post this new...
  I've been running Windows Vista Ultimate on my Toshiba laptop for years without any problems.  Earlier this year, I started seeing issues after Windows updates.  The main problem is that after updates Windows, my wireless network is is more noticed and the wireless card (which was installed on the computer, and never had problems before) is not recognized.  I manually installed updated drivers with no luck.  The only thing that has worked is to do a system restore to a point before the updates.  The problem seems to be related to an update in general, I can't uninstall.

  I find it extremely ironic that I have no problems with Vista until Windows 7 is launched. First of all, it's the wireless card, then a problem with a driver graphics card (apparently... which seems to be fixed now) and return to the wireless card.  Should I expect to continue to have problems unless I upgrade to Windows 7?  I can't continue to spend half of my day trying to fix my computer after an update that is supposed to fix the errors, but I don't like the feeling that I am forced to upgrade.

  From your post, it seems that the issue was occurring when Windows updates are installed automatically again even after the restoration of the system and that is why I suggest to restore the system again to a point before the updates and download and install Windows updates manually.

• No sound after latest Flash Player update

  My system is windows 7 Home premium 32-bit. After I downloaded the latest update I have no more sound in internet explore 9 AND google chrome.

  WMP still works. Downloaded all the latest drivers, I tried everything that was suggested here:

  I see that you seem to have two versions of Flash Player at the same time.  Please follow these instructions for a clean reinstall

  • Download http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html FP uninstaller and save it on the disk;
  • Download PS http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html Installer and save it on the disk;
  • Close all the browser windows, and then run the uninstaller downloaded;
  • Restart Windows;
  • Check C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash - remove all remaining files in there;
  • now, run the downloaded installer.

  You can list what you have now in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash

  What about the sound now?
