  I have an older version of studio Production I had installed on a Windows XP Pro system.  I have recently got a new computer with Windows 7 Pro and am having a terrible time getting this product installed on my new computer.  Initially, he crossed the disk 1 (there are 5) and hung up. I had to reboot but my dvd player was missing in action.  I had to do a system restore and tried again.  This time he did it in two discs and I had the same problem, he hung up and I had to do a system restore because the disk was not visible.  After much research and a refusal to the customer service support, although I had spent thousands of dollars to buy and modernize over the years (sigh) I found a possible solution that said a problem with a product existing dvd which can be on my system and conflict with the installation.  This solution was not really acceptable since it indicated that my "installation" don't "play nice" with a competing product, even if it came installed on my system (another sigh).  Another suggestion was uninstalling and reinstalling operating system which is not acceptable that, since software vendors, even if it's an older version should at least have some patches so that it can work with the latest OS, not the reverse.  I was very happy with my software Studio of production over the years but am very disappointed that this will not work with my new system.  Compatibility mode does not work because I can't install it completely.  Anyone has any suggestions that could help me make this work with my new computer?  I can not but $ 800 + set to upgrade to the last/most large which will be 1200 + when the 5.5 versions free and I'm not crazy to move to an alternative to commercial software (ie non-professional).  Suffice it for the most part to continue with Premiere Pro and Photoshop, but even if I update these two, so that it is not profitable income limited retired person like me.  Any help much appreciated.  (and suspecting comments on my username, the site would not accept my regular connection, I've had for 15 years, so I just a few keystrokes to get this question entry)

Wait until the operation is complete, then quit disk utility and return to the main menu.

  Reinstall OS X: Select reinstall OS X and click on the continue button.

  It is impossible to say what is happening without knowing the details of your model, including the type of film used, what you've done for layers and details of your workflow. We also know exactly what you did to 'change' the settings in the render settings or output Module. If rendering fails what the rendered example journal? If you get an error message that say what?

  For a new user the most likely problem is that you have set the work area to 1 frame or you have added some sort of effect that causes rendering to fail.

  Have you tried to run iTunes by holding down the Option key? Select "choose library" then go to the external HD and the iTunes folder there. You should get the option to open it.

  I develop a dynamic form.

  There's a RadioButtonList that under option (1,2,3), will open a subform (1,2,3). Each subform contains a different set of checkboxes. The checkboxes for each subform (1,2,3) are related to one another subform (5,6,7). Subforms, 5, 6, and 7 all contain arrays. Checkboxes in subforms 1, 2 and 3 are related to the lines in the tables of subforms, 5, 6 and 7. All rows in all tables are set to 'hidden '. When checking a checkbox, the associated row of the associated table has its presence changed to 'visible '.

  RadioButtonList1 = 1

  Subform1 appears.

  CheckBox3 = 1

  Subform5.Table1.Row3 is displayed.

  It all works perfectly. I'm sure it's complicated, but the end result works.

  Let me add this. Writing scripts to display fields lies with radio buttons. It looks like this:

  I imported a video after affects that has a transparent background.

  Research tells me that the video is never really transparent, so I'm creating a solid layer in AE, placing video on it and setting the blend mode 'screen '.

  I now have a video with a background color of the #ffa800.

  However, when I export / view the video output and import in my project of edge to animate the background color of the video is disabled and does not match my background of edge animate.

  I spent all day experimenting with different export made direct EI options and also through Media encode. IM now completely stumped.

  I also tried setting the video background color #ffa800 and masking then my video. It keeps me from having to use a "screen" blend mode, but I get the same exact results.

  Could someone please give me some advice on where I'm wrong please. The bottom is so close, but either slightly darker or more clear that I put that spoils the overall animation effect I want to create.

  Lack of information exact system, rendering settings and so forth person can tell you a lot. That said, there are a few fundamental failures in your plan. First of all, web colors do not mean anything in AE or in most graphics programs than elsewhere because of the object of little quantification management and possibly color errors. Whatever colors you compose, do it using the normal RGB sliders. Second, blend modes are not transparency, even if for mathematical reasons, the formula mixture may appear to eradicate certain colors. Third, you must take into account the values of Gamma. Video is not linear mixture and time your screen of computer as well as the video content itself may have a built-in Gamma value. Thus, your merge operation could already produce erroneous results as a light mist, the encoding of the video file could introduce Gamma tilt and then finally in the last step, any tool that you use to view perhaps apply dynamic corrections thus or in reverse, not at all. So this is essentially to check these things and properly calibrate / setting of your monitor and your system color settings and make use of color in AE management, if any. However, in the end, you always see minor deviations of color. It is inherent in how compressed formats like H.264 work. You can only try to minimize as much as you can.

I have the field rendering disabled in settings of the rendering queue. Regardless of the content of the animation, even one after effects text layer, it will not be made progressive. Import images in final cut pro and it is reading as a "superior" dominant frame If I return a sequence like 1280 x 720 or another size, it is progressive.   the file to the top of the window. If nothing is wrong in the next few days, you can delete the folder.

  This method protects to empty the trash accidentally and lose the file/folder.

  -Speaking of deleting the file. A great TEMP folder can slow things way down.

  Run Windows, Disk Cleanup . This will remove many files in the Temp folder.

  Or, for a full, clean, go to the - your User\AppData\Local\Temp

  Open the Temp folder and delete anything that can be deleted (impossible to delete the files that are used).

  Start by creating a recovery kit. See the following link for the procedure:

  HP computers - create a recovery Disk Image or save an Image recovery on a USB (Windows 8)

  Learn how to create recovery DVDs or to save a recovery image on a USB flash drive to restore all the original software, in the case of a computer problem major.

  Remove the 1 TB of HARD drive pre-installation and install 250 GB SSD. Use the recovery kit and perform the recovery of the system. See the following link for the procedure:

  HP System Recovery allows to reinstall or restore a HP with Windows 8 computer to the way it was at a previous time.

  Then you can connect the 1 TB HARD drive as a data disc and use it.

• How can I move my XP OS to a new drive and make the boot drive

  My PC is a desktop PC DELL which is about 6 - 7 years.  It runs XP Pro SP3, Windows 2010 and contains 4 GB of RAM.  I recently bought a SLC of X 25 - E Intel 32 GB SSD drive and the new drive installed in my PC.  My PC recognizes it as drive "F:".  My "C:" drive is SATA 2 75 GB HDD usng RAID 0. My goal is to move the operating system and other relevant files for the SSD drive and make the startup disk so that I can enjoy the pick-up speed to have an SSD intalled.  I tried looking on the internet but couldn't find information about cloning a whole disk.

  Can anyone provide assistance?  Or is my PC so old that it is more feasible for a novice?
