  • Is it possible to sync only bookmarks in one device, for example and all the other stuff between other devices?

    Hello.

I have 3 devices. 2 of them are at work, so I don't want to sync items such as extensions (xnotifier, for example, is to synchronize my CPA), passwords for my PC at home with these two devices. But I want to synchronize my bookmarks and other things. Is it possible to separate between different devices sync settings?

    Thank you.

You may need to use two separate sync accounts, if this is not possible with a single account.
As you cannot use both accounts at the same time on a device, you will need to disconnect the computer which is the main device and (temporarily) connect to another account only synchronize to the other account to sync bookmarks.

She turns on and work for a random delay (sometimes 10 minutes and up to 2 hours) then all of a sudden the screen turns blue, and he reads a lot of numbers (I can get these and write them if necessary) and States "device driver stuck in a junkyard of endless memory loop beginning physics, manufacturer contact to update on the device...". »

I have no idea what that means or what I need to do / who I should ask etc.
    Can someone tell me please?

    Hello!

It's not easy to say what the problem is.

First of all, what laptop do you have exactly?

In your situation, I would first check the RAM. There are special tools and do always with Memtest86.
You can download an ISO image to burn on a CD from [www.memtest86.com]
Boot from the CD and test your memory RAM, maybe, you will get errors.

You can also reinstall Windows with the recovery disk. It could be a software problem or driver.

If you have any other questions, I'll try to help you.

    Good bye

  • Rename a custom device

    Hi all

I made a custom device that perform some operations with the associated DAQ card.

In the Solution Explorer system Veristand, to manage several boards, it is possible to add multiple instances of it. The name of each instance must match the associated with a DAQ card, he is asked once and is never changes (in the camera custom XML file, I added the entry 'true').

Demand for the name is made just after the addition of the instance in the tree Explorer (right click on the entry "Custom devices") system. In particular, the name is invited to call a VI that I put in the "Initialization.VI" of the library of device configuration custom. Unfortunately, this approach I am not able to change the name because ot the property of DisallowRenaming and an error is raised.

How can I work around this problem? Is there an event as described in the "Custom Device" Guide (OnDelete, OnLoad,...) which can be pulled before the call of the "Initialization.VI", but after the addition of the instance in the system Explorer tree?

    Thank you

    aRCo

I recommend to remove this label of your item custom main device. its best practice to rename the custom feature set.

In addition, you can store the name of the physical device as a separate property rather than use the custom device node name.

Finally, in 2012, we have added a "force rename" bool entry to the item to rename API to work around this problem.

  • In Device Manager, OTHER DEVICES has yellow question mark

I always have problems with sudden black screens with auto restart.  It has been suggested that I get a new video driver, so I went into Device Manager, and since there is no list for video devices, I looked in the other devices section (which has PCI Simple Communications Controller, SM Bus controller, video controller, and video controller - compatible VGA) there is a yellow question mark next to each one.  I opened each of them and read, "Unknown manufacturer", and "the drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28) ' how to find who is the manufacturer and model and the version?

It might be true that it doesn't work with Windows 7, I never said it would work with Windows 7 (it's the XP forum, don't forget!) but there may be something similar.  Since WIndows 7 is so wunnerfool, they just left that have a completely since there must be no need for this.

99% of the things on which I work is some flavor of Windows Server, XP or Citrix and haven't seen nobody wants to even consider moving their campus everything to Windows 7 and I do not see happening any time soon!  It is not in their plans at all.

I support a handful of populous (just a few) who have systems that require Windows 7 for some features and other things though, but they are just itty bitty compared to the basic XP installed.

  • Need drivers XP for Satellite Pro A40

Just do a fresh install of XP on a Satellite Pro A40 of second hand. Various onboard devices are not known (of in XP Device Manager) and I can't go through the process of "Install new hardware" that I don't have the drivers. The devices are mainly the Multimedia Sound Audio Card and the PCI Modem. I don't know what manufacturer made these, as XP ID device as unknown Manager.

Anyone have any ideas or tips on how I can get the sound and PCI modem to work?

(I'm not using the laptop for this message, even if it has access to the Internet).

    Thank you

    Looking for XP drivers?

You can find all the XP drivers on the European driver Toshiba page!

For the multimedia and Audio sound card, you need to install the audio driver and Modem PCI-> modem driver.

You will find everything on the page of the driver.

But note that buddy, there are also a few QFE Ms. This is usual Microsoft patches and fixes that are necessary and essential for the installation of the driver.

Also check the Microsoft Windows XP SP2 update information. Sometimes the only drivers or utilities must be updated after the installation of service packs for MS!

    Good bye

  • Where update the drivers from?

If you update drivers from your site to computer/laptop brands (for example Dell etc.)?  or get the new drivers from the manufacturer that make your drivers (drivers brand such killer Networking, NVIDIA etc.)?

    Hello

Visit the site of the manufacturer of your system/motherboard first, then check the real device
manufacturer sites an even newer version. BIOS, chipset and a few other proprietary drivers
always be available on the website of the manufacturer of the motherboard of the system.

    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Look for the updates with system Maker (manufacturer of motherboard for customized systems)
BIOS, chipset of low level drivers, and device embedded and separate major
drivers. DriverView execution - VIEW driver Microsoft set hide - updated from those who don't
    Dump on their behalf.

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded
on your system. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is
Poster: load address of the driver, description, version, product name,.
company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit system Maker as replacements and manufacturer device which are the
most up-to-date. Control Panel - write - graphics card - device manager
the brand and complete model of your video card - double-click - driver
tab - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this cannot
No matter what as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall.
RESTART this will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard
If there are 3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers
    you have.

Now, go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and
then device Maker (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) of the site and get their
the most recent versions. (Look for BIOS, Chipset and software updates from the Maker system
    (website here).

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN -.
    REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you are
installation actually appears. This is because that some rollback of drivers before the
later is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so to install a driver - restart
-check that it is installed and try again if necessary.

Repeat BTW to the manufacturers - manufacturers of devices DO WORK DO NOT THEIR SCANNER-
    Heck manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

That does not sound like malware can update BIOS and chipset of low level

Also with assistance from the manufacturer of your video cards and devices, check their online documentation and
drivers and ask questions in the forums (if any) on known problems. You may need to update
the video driver or re - install one even if it is more recent. It is sometimes necessary

Think about it an absolute must - manually update your drivers.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded
on your system. For each driver in the list, additional useful information is
Poster: load address of the driver, description, version, product name,.
company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit Maker as replacements and system manufacturer of device which are
the most recent. Control Panel - write - graphics card - device manager
the brand and complete model of your video card - double click - tab of the driver-
Note the version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this can do nothing
MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard
If there are 3rd party with their own software and drivers and the other main device drivers
    you have.

Now, go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restore)
and site (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get the manufacturer and device
their latest versions. (Look for the system to update the BIOS, Chipset and software updates
    Site of the manufacturer here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN -.
    REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you are
installation actually appears. This is because that some rollback of drivers before the
later is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a driver - reboot.
Make sure that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW to the device makers DO NOT RUN THEIR
SCANNER - check manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/HT/driverdlmfgr.htm

Installation and update of drivers under Windows 7 (updated drivers manually using
the above methods is preferable to ensure the latest drivers from the manufacturer of system
    and device manufacturers are located)
    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/43216-installing-updating-drivers-7-a.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable driver facilities
in the updates of Windows, which leaves on Windows updates, but it will not be installed
pilots who are generally older and cause problems. If updates provides a new
driver then hide it (right click on it) and then go get new ones manually if
    you want.
