  I'm SRM configuration at a customer site and meet some strange problems I can't cross.

  1 SRM installed on each vcenter for its own DB and seems happy.

  2. set up the connection to the remote site. Once again, everything seems happy. Green is true in all areas.

  3. set up some picture frames.  See arrays, LUNS, just as happy here.

  4. QUESTION - when I set up the mappings of the inventory, network and compute resources are working as expected, but when I go to the virtual machine files, to select the domain controller and the Virtual Machine file, it fails and says "UNABLE TO LOG IN.

  And that's where I'm stuck... I have installed licenses on the remote side.

  FYI, it is esx4, with the most recent software and vcenter Server 2003 R2, the same without equallogic.

  Looks like another manifestation of what you can see when you are not using the domain name when prompted credentials.

  Try to connect and reconnect and when you are prompted for the credentials, be sure to specify < domain_name >-< user name >.

  I don't know, but you may also need to violent and connect the sites once more fill the credentials of remote vCenter using the < domain > name \ < username > credentials.

• Related to the previous question, I can SEND, but I receive a message that indicates the message failed to be saved under sent folder?

• System backup question

  I just bought a laptop HP dv6 with Windows 7 64 bit.  He came with system partitions and hard disk recovery.  Once I set it up the way I want I want to use the Windows Backup and Restore utilities to create the System Image and DVD repair system.  My questions are: 1) since there are already partitions on the hard drive, is there something I should be concerned or even before that I have to create DVDs?  (2) after the creation of Windows DVD won't recognize the partitions on the hard drive?  Thank you.

  I recommend that you create a system image on an external hard drive instead of DVD. The disk and its partitions uses a lot of DVD if it's the medium of your choice. DVD is not as reliable as external drives. There are free programs like Macrium reflect Free edition which allows you to create a clone of your hard drive with all partitions.

  Make a clone will have no effect on your current plan of the original score. Windows will always recognize the partitions. If you want to keep the function F11 Recovery Manager does not change the partition scheme. You can also access the Recovery Manager through the recovery media that you have created.

  I understand from the description of the problem that you receive an operating system not found error message on the Windows 7 computer.

  I understand this must be frustrating, but don't worry, we're here to help and guide you in the right direction.

  This problem may occur if one or more of the following conditions are met:

  a. the basic input/output system (BIOS) does not detect the hard drive.

  b. the hard disk is damaged.

  c. sector 0 of the physical disk has an incorrect or malformed master boot (MBR) record.

  Note Some third-party programs or alteration of the disk can damage an MBR.

  d. an incompatible partition is marked as Active.

  e. a partition which contains the MBR is no longer active.

  Try these methods.

  Method 1

  I suggest that you update the basic input/output system (BIOS) to the last version by contacting the manufacturer of your motherboard or computer and check if it works.

  Important: Change (CMOS) BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

  I have 3 x ESX hosts in my recovery site each with 4 CPU sockets (12 in total). Those that reside in the same cluster.

  I only bought 8 licenses SRM as resources for the protected virtual machine is quite low.

  To make sure that I am within my tolerance of license I only present storage replicated containing VMS protected against 2 of the ESX host.

  However, I see in the event log, the following message appears:

  "The SRM_PROTECTED_HOST of function SRM is more allocated by 4 licenses.

  So my question is: how MRS. knows which ESX hosts in a cluster license?

  It is not, it assumes that the entire cluster is used for MRS. By also replicated LUNS to only half of the cluster is not recommended, and something I would never recommend because the results of HYALURONIC acid launched restart is unpredictable.

  Recently my friend just having his Macbook Air 2015. He tried to create an icloud account and managed to do it. But he has been unable to configure his Macbook to a stable state.   If the problem is still there, try to start safe mode using your usual account.  Disconnect all devices except those necessary for the test. Shut down the computer and then put it up after a 10 second wait. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the SHIFT key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. Startup is considerably slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a check for directory and disables all start-up and connection, among other things. When you restart normally, the initial restart may be slower than normal. If the system is operating normally, there may be 3rd party applications that pose a problem. Try to delete/disable the third-party applications after a reboot using the UN-Installer. For each disable/remove, you need to restart if you do them all at once.

  I tried a system recovery using the HP DVD sent to me earlier and I put the first disc in and fine, sometimes about to hundred 70ish then asking disc two, I insert the CD 2 and it carries up to 100% then it moves to "deploy the files required for the installation of recovery phase" but does not move 0%

  I tried to use the portable computers own system recovery, but it does not at all.

  Ive took records, re them, put disc back in and stillhad entered no chance.

  Any ideas on what I can do?

  I'm having all sorts of problems trying to do a reinstall my hp pavilion elite hpe-570f system. I'm trying to use the recovery partition. I can get to options and don't start the process, no problem. He has even reformat the hard drive. The problem arises when relocation of the factory software. Usually, it hangs at 1% until the screen loses the signal and that's it. I have disconnecged everything - including the usb keyboard and mouse on the last attempt - but the most I ever got was 35% before the screen loses the signal and nothing else happens.   Given that it was me that pisses off the coast, I purchased a retail version of windows 7 unlimited and tried. The same problem. Bought a new motherboard - and the case since the case of HP is designed to put another issue - and he moved very well. Have not had any problems of video card.   You have a dead hard drive. Your best option, if you want to keep this notebook, is to replace the hard drive. It's pretty simple in most laptops. After replacing the hard drive, simply load a copy of Windows on it and you should be good to go.

• Vista system restore question after malware attack

  Hello.  My wife's computer has been attacked by malware.  It all hid on the desktop and the start menu as well as all his personal files, has launched a large number of pop-up windows - up with fake error messages and then prompted to pay an unknown technical support source.  I used the Vista system restore to restore the system to a few days before the attack.  According to the instructions of Windows help, the system restore should not affect his personal files.  I was hoping that his files would be present again after the restore, but they are still missing.  The malware seems to have disappeared now.  Any suggestions on where its files can be located or what measures you need a professional to get back them?
