MCE only receive digital signals with Toshiba USB hybrid TV

Hi, I have a problem with the USB hybrid TV, I want to use with Windows Media Center, it works fine, but I can see only digital Tv, no cable Tv. If I use the software provided with TV usb I can see digital cable and cable, but with Windows Media Center only digital television.

Can someone help me please?

Thank you!

Luca

Hello Luca

Please don't be crazy about me, but you have to understand that maybe it's not possible to use the material in any desired combination. This product is designed for all the cell phones (not only for units with WMCE. Because of this manufacturer is it comes with own software.

As you can see, it also works with WMCE and also digital. In my opinion it's the big thing. By the Way: AFAIK WMCE supports analog and digital TV by use of the antenna). Try Please also check some support WMCE or even forum WMCE site.

  • PC crashing with TOSHIBA USB Hybrid Tv Tuner

I have recentlly bought a USB tv tuner hybrid Toshiba. I have connected the device to my laptop before installing the software (which must have read the manual...). However, after the cancellation of the device installation wizard I installed the software and plugged the unit... the BONE has found the new device with the following notification of the ball: "USB tv tuner hybrid found (without firmware)" and a moment later my pc crashed with a blue screen and then stop. I tried to re install the software, update the software (savvy tv 2.0) and nothing happened. My laptop kept crashing the same way... I called Toshiba technicians, suggest that i uograde firmware of the laptop... (? maybe they mean the motherboard BIOS? who knows...?).

The laptop is not a Toshiba. However, it meets the minimum requirements. My OS is Windows XP SP2, my graphics card is ATI Mobility Radeon 1600 and my USB ports work fine with everything. I use an external display instead of the laptop screen (don't know if its relevant...)

Any help is welcome because I am this close to return to the where I bought this product and request a refund.

    Thank you.

    Hello

I have USB DVB - T TV tuner and I checked with WXP and Vista. Works well. I don't know what operating system you are using, but maybe you need to download the latest version 2.0 of the Toshiba download page.

  • Driver Linux for Toshiba USB hybrid TV Tuner PX1256E-1TVH

Hello! I would like to ask if there is a driver for linux OS for the Tuner TV Toshiba USB hybrid PX1256E-1TVH in the future. At least if this is not possible please give the instructions for the developers of the linux kernel to make a useful for us driver. I informed that they will make a driver linux for free!

    Thank you in advance!

Unfortunately Toshiba doesn't support Linux and I assume that Toshiba will not offer driver Linux soon. Most of these devices is designed for Windows XP Home or Vista edition.
I put t have information on future activities, but I recommend you to look for info on the Linux forums.

  • Problem with Toshiba USB DVB - T TV tuner

    Hello

My Toshiba USB DVB - T TV tuner worked perfectly for the last year when I was in Italy. Now, I'm in France and when I run the Auto search, I find not all channels. I uninstalled Savvy TV and downloaded the new version of the site Web of Toshiba and installed Savvy TV again. Then just after opening it, I see the names of all the Italian channels, I used to watch (although now I can't watch them, only I can see the name of the channels).

But after you set the region in France and running Auto scan, I get all the channels. The list is empty. Can someone help me please this subject?

    Thank you
    Annie

    Hello Annie

Are you sure signal, DVB - T is available. I have the same tuner and watch me works well but 100km, my friend does not work because in this area, there is certainly no DVB - T signal.

Try to please pick up some info on this.

  • How to generate a continuous ttl signal with a USB-6501

    Hello everyone,

I am a beginner with LabView, so maybe my problem, it's very easy to fix.

I need to generate a digital output using a USB-6501. This TTL signal will then switch to a device. Basically, I need the digital output to be permanently to TTL high level until a user active departure is given. Then the digital output must stay to the TTL low level until another stop active user is given.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do? I have failed so far to get something different high TTL to my USB 6501.

    Thank you very much.

    I hope someone can help.

    Dell XPS computer

    Windows Vista 32-bit

ATI Theater 650 Pro TV tuner

Recent upgrade of our cable system has left me without all the digital signals being recognized by Windows Media Center.  Have still 13 first typical analog signals. I tried everything to get digital.  Here, they are identified as XX - 1.  Apparenty the TV Pack Upgrade will solve the problem, but I can't seem to download right from my computer (or at all).  Any ideas.

  • 6008 USB shows the digital signal with nothing plugged

So I really hope that's not too bad, I guess it is.

I had problems reading of my digital USB 6008 entry this morning. Everything worked very well last night. Now all digital lines on the device to read a signal if it is has that anything connected to them or not. When I run the DAQ Assistant and test line, it shows a signal to each line. Then I did the joint VI (which should do the same) and it shows a constant signal in each line also. And I have nothing connected to the unit. Should reset somehow, or it is broken? Or am I just missing something?

    nckeeley,

Look at pages 21 and 22 of the User Guide Ni USB-6008/6009 and specifications.  Digital lines have a traction 4.7 kilohm place resistance to + 5 V.  It will be a line of input opne look (and be) high.

  • How to read digital signals with pre-and post-trigger on a card PCI-6251

I have 22-bit parallel position of data entering TTL lines to 16 kHz with a pulse of marker that says when the data is valid. I also have a fault line which gives an impulse when an error condition is met. I want to read in the 22 lines of position with 500 positions of pre-event and post-event 500 data when the fault line says. How do I pre and post-déclencher lines digital input on a card PCI-6251?

If this is not possible on this map, which maps PCI would be possible?

  • Is it possible to measure digital signals with devices of simulations?

The simulated device configuration is the following:

    9174 chassis cDAQ (cDAQ1)

    -9215 (cDAQ1Mod1) (analog in)

    -9401 (cDAQ1Mod2) (digital i/o)

    With a digital line (e.g., line 4), I create a single pulse

    ------^---------....

where the circumflex indicates the pulse short and simple.

Is it possible to use a digital line (for example, the line 0) in to measure it in the device simulated using a kind of direct/indirect routing?  If so, how a set to the top of the digital input read task essentially read the output on line 4, internally?

    Thank you.

N ° as the DAQmx help explains, you do not have this ability with a simulated device.

  • PWM with NOR-USB 94xx?

    Hello everyone,

already, I asked once about the creation of PWM with hardware. And I was pleased with the response. But now I found 94xx Series-USB OR hardware. Here are the materials of high-voltage-Digital i/o. If any of you have already met with this one, would like to hear your conclusion about them. Would also appreciate if you could answer my question:
Is it possible to create a PWM Signal with NOR-USB 94xx?

    What is your application?

Why don't choose you something in this list.

If your condition is out to say 24 v PWM signal... you can also plan to use a custom circuit intermediate, not only to scale the output signal of the device (at 24 v) but also the reader following circuit.

  • addition of digital signals

I would like to create a digital waveform as instructions for a stepper motor. The task is to get the motor shaft turn at variable speed within each rotation. I tried to do this by dividing the rotation in a number of blocks that each run at a different speed, thus forming the concatenated rotation profile.

The problem is that then the concatenation of the digital signals with the Append VI, I am unable to remember the different frequencies of the individual wave since the Append VI seem to require a constant interval between two pulses. Is it possible to explicitly concatenate accurate digital waveforms to form the desired profile?

Try again with the modified VI.

  • How can I get digital signals (interface UART) with a microcontroller with NI USB-6008?

I have acauired a few analog signals by A/D (3 channels). I put each scanned data on 3 digital output with a microcontroller. I want to see if it is possible to import these digital outputs 3 to a PC via a USB-6008? It's like the connection of the output to the digital input of the USB-6008 and import the 3 channels simultaneously to LabView? Do I need to use some other hardware like USB-8451 and connect the clock of the MCU to USB-8451?

    Saraydin,

The digital I/o on the USB-6008 is a software program only, so unless your signals are rather slow, it probably will not work for you.  In general, the procedure would be to connect each signal to one of the digital lines on the map and then set up a digital entry into LabVIEW task to read the three channels.  If you use a device that has clocked by the digital i/o hardware, you then your input clock signal and use it as the sample for the task clock.  Here is a list of USB devices supporting DIO clocked by the hardware.  Also, there is an example that comes with LabVIEW, which shows how to do this.  You can get to it in LabVIEW by going to help > find examples.  When the example Finder window opens, navigate to hardware input and output > DAQmx > digital measures > Cont read dig Chan-Ext Clk.vi.

The 8451 is specifically for I2C and SPI, and would be great if you try to make one of these protocols, but otherwise I would recommend the devices in the list I linked above.

  • Computer will not receive Comcast Digital adapter (DTA) receiving TV signal

Until recently I had used a tuner for my computer (and Media Center of course) to access all cable channels I ordered via Comcast. In other words, until Comcast made the switch to digital, which means I need a decoder adapter digital transport (DTA). After the switch, and before that I'm the DTA, I was able to receive broadcast TV channels, but not basic cable (for evidence, I was able to record a show on a channel on my DVR).

I got one of the Commission yesterday and followed the instructions to a T. Among these non-tamponnage my cable output directly from the computer and to the contrary put through the DTA, then a coaxial cable linking DTA to the computer. Unfortunately, Media Center told me that I had no signal TV at all (and therefore that I couldn't even check how worked the DTA). Comcast technicians told me that the box has been activated and it worked, so the problem is probably the communication between the Commission and my PC. The PC is not received the signal from the DTA, and I have no idea why.

    Some features:

Windows XP 2002 OS, running on PC Gateway GM5066E, Media Center came with the machine (purchased in 2006/2007 or most), built in TV tuner, I have all the equipment/remotes...just IR no TV signal

Any help you could give would be great!

According to my instructions, the IR blaster NOT plug on the back of the DTA.
The only thing that plugged into the back of the DTA is the COAXIAL cable from the wall and
the power adapter cable. and you do NOT use the cable/IR extension which has been
provided with the DTA. See point #5.
You may need to buy a cable blaster if it did not come with the gateway.

    is that what you have:

    http://support.gateway.com/s/Accessor/104220/104220mv.shtml ?

Sticky end cable blaster must be glued on her go to the DTA,
covering the eye of the receiver. the other end should be connected to the foregoing
accessory that must be plugged into a USB port.
Still, you can't use the IR blaster extender cable supplied with the DTA and
nothing branch at the rear of the DTA, other than the coaxial cable and power supply.

The make and model of computer are in the first post (gateway GM5066E running XP 2002). I use the WMC remote supplied with the computer. As I said, it works fine except for changing the channel (interaction with the DTA).

Through the slit in the IR, I mean plug it into the back of the DTA to the IR receiver (NOT the IR USB receiver that I use, the piece that came with the DTA).

  • Qosmio G30-161: cannot receive the signals of TV in MCE

I recently bought the Qosmio G30-161 and have problems with watching TV via the media library. I get an error message that there is no signal. However another TV tuner I installed separately I'm not having any problems.

I read somewhere that this could be solved by installing the last disc of tv tuner. If anyone can confirm this? If Yes, when I try to download the player from Toshiba online support, which comes in a file zip, after extracting it I don't see an option to install it.

    Thank you

The second TV tuner installed on your Qosmio?
Have you tested to receive TV signals without the second tuner but only with Qosmio internal tuner?
