Measures

I have a DAQ.mx vi taking into an analog input voltage. I'm getting "unadjusted amplitude", which I believe are counties/a., but I was wondering a) how to translate these counts of tensions and b) how to change the amplitude not adjusted in Volts and if that was to change the resolution of the measurement.

Read the raw/a. has no meaning for me if that's how you save the data in a file. In all cases, check this.

You seem to be under the common misunderstanding that defining a range with the channel create DAQmx is the same as the definition of the actual range of the aircraft. DAQmx uses the route data that you provide to select the best range of physics to get the data. As I mentioned before, the unit was not a +/-range 2V. Your device is actually using the +/-5V range so the raw number of A/D is correct. You must read the plug or do a read to get property range used real.

  • Apple Watch series 2 measure gain altitude or altitude?

    Hello

I'm confused, the 2 series watch is not supposed to have a barometer, but today after I watched a training session (open air cycle) in the activity of application on my iPhone I saw 'elevation' win (622 m) and it was there (compared to a parallel measure with a Garmin 920XT). I registered the workout on the watch, but had my iPhone (6s) in my pocket. So the series 2 Watch measures altitude/elevation or he draws the data from my iPhone... I'll experiment more, without taking my iPhone along next time.

During this time, is that what someone did similar comments?

And of course, I would be grateful for any help on how to export training sessions (write to GPX etc.).

    Thanks and best wishes

Yes, the watch/app will draw altimetry from your phone when it is within range.

  • What iOS 10 app measurement clock 'in bed '?

I have used the clock app to remind me to go to bed and wake up, and I noticed that it was time "to bed" (health App: sleep data analysis). Numbers don't align well with the time that I'm in bed, and he seems to report that I get up several times a night. (Can be specific, not sure).

My question is: what is actually measure? Source of data? It is only based on the clock, or also the sensors of movement to see if I'm in a bed (or even the microphone to hear me snoring?). I also tried some other apps of sleep, and they seem to make the distinction in the meantime 'to bed' and the time spent asleep. Is there documentation somewhere about how the OS tracked these numbers?

    Thank you!

  • Measure calories burned when using drive

    Hello

The question I have is will be your Apple Watch measure speed of combustion of different calories for the same distance at the same time, when to do using workout app as opposed to not use the app to drive?

The reason for the question is that I read by using the training app, Apple Watch switches on the relevant sensors. Does this mean that these other motion detectors are normally off and if that affect the accuracy of the measure of calories burned during exercise?

    Concerning

    Hello

Yes - followed by an open-air market, for example, through the training app can result in a more accurate estimate of your active Calories burned during this activity.

When follow you an activity using the application of the training session and specify a type of activity, your watch uses the most appropriate sensors and data sources to estimate the outcome of this workout.

For example, when you save an open air market:

    • If you also take your iPhone along (with compatible Bluetooth and location Services), your watch can access the GPS of the iPhone data when estimating the PACE and distance.
    • If you do not take your iPhone along, the watch relies on data from the accelerometer in the estimate of the PACE and distance.
    • Data from the heart rate sensor is used during the estimation of the Active Calories, including calculations which are adapted to this type of activity specified.

Calibrate your watch also helps to improve the accuracy of the different estimates made by the activity and workout app app. More information and instructions for calibration of your watch (including to reset all calibration data) are available via the link below. Estimates of the results will also depend on your personal information. To verify that this is correct - and update over time:

    • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: My Watch tab > health > edit - tap and adjust the settings, then press on in fact.

  • Best way to measure accurately the activity of hiking on Apple Watch

I use my Apple Watch with watch OS 2.2.2 paired with an iPhone on ios 9.3.3 6 and ask what is the best way to measure the calories during the hike. I currently use the app to drive and walk outdoor activity type, but it seems that the market with more than 30 pounds on the back should burn more calories than the market alone.

It would make sense to increase my weight of 30 pounds (or whatever the weight of the package is that day) in community health for the market or is there another solution to workaround that would suffice?

It would be great if a later version of workout app had a hiking activity or hiking with a place to specify the amount of extra weight in a pack or vest or even just an option for additional weight to the open-air market.

    Thank you!

  • Apple Watch do not measure rest

    Hi all

I had a watch for a few weeks now and somehow, rest time is measured not at all.

Here are the screenshots of the application of the activity and the app shows.

Has anyone had the same problem and fixed it?

So watch phone has been restarted and not matched/paired again.

    Hello

Try these steps, which have solved the same problem for some other users:

    • On your iPhone in the app shows, go to: Watch My > General > detection of wrist - make sure it's open.
    • If the access code is enabled, make sure that you unlock your watch every day after the place on your wrist.
    • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: Watch My > privacy > Motion & Fitness - Fitness Tracking off turn (or, if it is currently disabled).
    • Restart both devices in two turn off together, and then restart your iPhone first:
      • To turn off your iPhone: press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears. slide it to turn off. To restart, press and hold the sleep/wake button.
      • To turn off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off. To reactivate: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.
    • If you disabled fitness in step 3, now go back to the configuration and turn it back on.
  • Watch takes much too long to measure heart rate

When running using the Apple App on my Apple Watch workout the heart rate monitor will box out sometimes and say it's 'measure' my heart rate for a long time... for up to 4 minutes sometimes.  All this time I don't know what my heart rate.  This usually happens during the most intense part of the training.   The watch is tight on my wrist, no tattoos in the way, etc...

    Everyone knows this?

    Hello

    Certainly shouldn't take long.

Make sure that your watch is solidly on your wrist.

  • Active measure of calories during the bike ride

    Hello

I do a lot of road cycling and also use my Apple Watch to measure my fitness activity.

I used the option open air training on rides Cycle and it seems good but drain the battery of the watch. I don't really it measure the speed and distance as my Garmin that does very well and is also linked to Strava, but I don't want the watch to measure my year, and the number of calories active.

So, I tried cycling without starting a workout. The watch is a precise measure of the amount of time work, I exercised, but the number of calories burned seem much less than if I used a training to measure the same route.

The question is, which is more accurate? A workout outdoor Cycle or while leaving the watch to do its own thing? I suspect the former. This then begs the question, how shows measure of calories burned.

    Thank you very much

    Phil

    Hi Phil

The external Cycle estimate is more accurate.

When recording a workout outdoor Cycle, Apple Watch esteem Active Energy (calories / kilojoules) using a calculation that is suitable for this type of activity. Apple has not released details of the calculation method.

How to put in place measures in the application of health?

What do you mean 'the configuration steps? If you want steps if poster on the health dashboard, tap on health at the bottom of the screen data. Tap fitness. Tap measures. The value "Show on dashboard" on.

The health app is really more than one application storage and synchronization. You can't do things as targets for a particular metric. If you want to set a goal of step and follow it, use one of the many followed apps available that can extract data from health. Map My Fitness, My Fitness Pal, Jawbone UP and Fitbit (both can be used with the phone if you have an iPhone 5 or a later version). If you like to compete with others, the Club activities is fun.

  • Watch Apple should have is to measure the blood pressure?

The most important function that the Apple watch should have is to measure blood pressure.
All people who do physical activity or do not need this important function.

    without this important mechanism.

Cardiac measurement is more important at the time of registration or

If there is to be a function of health, which will complete.

  • Rules under 3.10 are accompanied by measures incentive comments banned?

According to article 3.10 in App Store Review Guidelines:

"Developers who try to manipulate or to cheat the customer reviews or the League table in the App Store with false or paid comments, or any other inappropriate method will be removed from the iOS Developer Program"

The wording is rather vague about what constitutes an "other inappropriate methods." I read somewhere on the internet that encourage users to leave a comment is one of these methods. It does not really fall into the category of "paid reviews", but I think everyone would agree that it should be treated as a violation.

However, there are a lot of apps in the store who do. In fact, I recently had a conversation with Apple's Support on such an application. In this application, users are invited to leave a comment to unlock additional content in the free app. I checked and point my complaint this app has the following statistics:

    (1) 4 years in the store

    (2) 6 thousand reviews in total

3-4 thousand of these comments came early December after encouraged sides were introduced.

Of course, if a high number of comments prompted this app to fly upward in the albums ranking charts.

When I had a conversation with the Apple Support they told me that they would look into this issue and will take the appropriate measures. Well, I must say several weeks are passed and appropriate did not rule.

Several days ago a update is out for another application in the same category. They clearly understood that have encouraged comments helps a lot and decided to attend this function.

Two of these apps prepare users for the test of the theory in the United Kingdom and occupy the high scores in the education category. The reason why I'm following this category very closely because I'm working on a similar application myself.

As someone who wants to enter this market, I would obviously like to know:

    (1) I might add encouraged customers as well?

    (2) in case I shouldn't add them because they are banned, why Apple overlook violations by some of the competitors? Is it possible to communicate with some officials and make them aware of these violations?

I said before, if you have to ask it violates the spirit of the law, if not the letter. In addition, if you ask here you announce your intentions publicly * would not be a good thing.

Windows 10 / printer HP 5530 visible, ping-measure but "installing network without success" - workaround

    (FYI)

Problem: Windows 10 laptop (previously Windows 7) would not install HP 5530 wireless printer using the HP installation software.

(Other portable, always running Windows 7, install the same software of the printer without a problem.) All computers had until then used a HP 5510 without problem).

The printer can be "seen" by phone, via a router, in the dialogues of installation software, but 'installation network without success' has been reported: in other words, after identification and selection of the printer on the network, install "spun" for several minutes until the outage has been reported. (Installation by USB connection was successful, but still later without success in wireless network installation).

Printer able ping go laptop all the time, and test page was printed wireless through the web page HTTP printer (e.g. 192.168.1.x) parameters.

Firewall has been abandoned and latest drivers from the web site HP downloaded - however, Setup still not at the same point each time.

Solution: In Windows 10, start menu: -.

Printer Settings\Devices\Add or Scanner\Printer I want to is not listed\Add by the TCP/IP address [use the IP address identified from the display or printing settings printer] - check the box for pilot chosen automatically by Windows.

(In other words, add the printer as a printer without using HP installation software at all.)

Result: the printer is available (after restart) wireless on the laptop - seemingly normal and as a shared printer - wireless printing was possible.

    (Solved) (Apparently)

Good luck to anyone with a similar problem!

    I'm still working 24 hours.

  • Y at - it a measure of GPU activity via activity monitor?

Y at - it a measure of GPU activity via activity monitor? I see CPU and energy monitors. I guess that GPU usage should be reflected in the values of energy, but it could be buried among the other components of the system of consuming energy. I came here from the HT201464 article which apparently does not match t a community.

Did you see the part about the GPU on this page...

Use the monitor activity on your Mac - Apple Support

    • Graphics card: The type of graphics currently used. Higher performance - cards use more energy. Mac which are used for automatic switching graphics save energy with the help of the integrated graphics card. They move to a graphics chip more powerful when an application needs. "Integrated" means that the Mac is currently using the integrated graphics card. "High Perf." means that the Mac is currently using graphics performance. To identify the applications that use high-performance graphics, look for apps that show 'Yes' in the column requires high performance GPU.

This info is displayed at the bottom of the tab energy. It is not the most detailed, but you should be able to see what applications need mode performance.
