Media Encoder CC hangs at startup

I just bought and installed version lasted Suite CS via the cloud. Everything seems to work so far, except Media Encoder CC. When I downloaded all the software, it came with Media Encoder CC both CS6. CS6 works very well. CC crashes at startup upward.

Data sheet:

17 "Macbook Pro

version 10.6.8 - with the latest security updates and patches

3.06 GHZ intel Core 2 Duo

4 GB 1067 MHZ DDR3 - I'm working on getting an upgrade to 8 GB. Waiting on the RAM

in my PCI bus - NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M with 256 MB of vRAM

in my bus PCIe - NVIDIA GeForce 9600 M GT with 512 MB of vRAM

Media Encoder CC version 7.0.1

As I said, everything including Media Encoder CS6 works very well. They open, I can do things, save and close. But when I try to run Media Encoder CC, I get the splash screen, then a problem report for Adobe Media Encoder CC. The details of the message are:

This is the number of times wherever I tried to open the application. Help, please!

Thanks in advance!

HI, I see you are using 10.6.8 Os.  SOUL CC requires 10.7 or later as Premiere Pro and AE.

http://www.Adobe.com/products/premiere/tech-specs.html

Installer would normally stop or at least give you a warning when installing on OS 10.6.

CS6 SOUL works on 10.6, so I recommend you use CS6 until you update to 10.7 or higher.

  • Windows Media Player suddenly hangs at startup-load after 5-7 minutes

No matter what I do with Windows Media Player, it will freeze at startup and leave me with the WMP window and a white space for all 5-7mins. Only after that about 5-7 minutes will be WMP finely show program.  If I open the only app without trying to play a media file, it will freeze for 5 to 7 minutes initially and display icon work. After the long wait it seems to work pretty well as long I have drag and drop a media file into the game box (that is to say, if I drag a video in the game box, it will play and I have a lot of control as usual), but as soon as I closed and reopened WMP it again. If I play a media file, as a video of any codec the player will freeze at the beginning, but always play the video without problem, I won't be able to change anything when he plays or close WMP. Windows 7 doesn't freeze, only media player. If I wait long enough it will allow me to try to close the app with X and I get the dialog box "Not responding" with this in detail (option ' Check for Solution ' is running then all of a sudden farm with no other information):

THINGS, I TRIED TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM:

    • Remove files from Windows Media Player of AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media player database - no change
    • Remove WMP Cache files to the player AppData\Local\Microsoft\Media - no change
    • Uninstall and reinstall WMP with 'Turn windows features on and out' - no change after not reinstall
    • Create a new user account with admin rights and a fresh desktop - no change, WMP freezes on other user accounts
    • Installed all the K-Lite codec pack - no change
    • Computer scanned with Kaspersky Pure for the viruses and Trojans - no change
    • Running a "clean boot" had no effect on the problem
    • Ran sfc/scannow by admin command not speedy - no change, no error found
    • Checked OS disk for errors - no change, no error

Note: I'm starting to think that there is an underlying problem, and that WMP is not the root cause, because another program I use called Sonicfire Pro, which is used to play the music video production began trolling and hang seriously when starting and trying to play music files. Windows Media Center seems to work fine, as well as all other programs I've tried so far.

    It works again!

I did nothing within Windows. I got everything disconnected from the computer and restarted afterwords with only a single monitor (I normally have two) and Windows Media Player, but also the Sonicfire Pro audio program worked flawlessly again... even with the second monitor. I can't explain how it was set, or why it did not work, but everything is back to normal now.

  • Where is Adobe Media Encoder CC

I think that after an update, Adobe Media Encoder CC crashes at startup. It actually crashed my Mac that never done before.

I tried to update and discovered that Media Encoder CC is more listed as an application.

Is there an application that replaces Media Encoder CC?

    Thank you...

Media Encoder does not display in the update section, or download the CC article. It is installed and updated along with other video tools in CC. try to manually install the last update: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5702.

  • Media Encoder crashes at startup

Whenever I try to launch Adobe Media Encoder CS5 (Version 5.0.1.0 64-bit), it crashes on the chart title with the message:

    "Loading ImporterQuickTime.bundle".

Left to do its thing for 30 minutes and it still doesn't react.

Any idea what could cause this problem?  I do not know what newspapers I should post.

FYI I am running it on Mac 10.6.5 on a quad in early 2008 Xeon Mac Pro.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Thank you.

Have you installed the third-party codecs? I've seen this happen when a bad codec could not be loaded and this caused QuickTime to not answer, which caused then Adobe Media Encoder hang while trying to initialize the QuickTime components.

  • Adobe Media Encoder CS6 - startup crash

I'm not able to start Adobe Media Encoder CS6 on Mac (Lion 10.7.3) - still, it attempts to load and gives me a "Adobe Media Encoder CS6 quit unexpectedly"

This happens with a freshly installed Web & Design Suite AND on both of my Macs.

I just reinstalled Flash CS6 to check - and no again, no chance to open it.

Super boring! What can I do?

    Thank you

    Steffen Funke

So, I was able to solve than this based on this (old) thread that deals with the same kind of problem under the CS5:

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/3975390

In short: delete "Adobe Media Encoder" of your user preferences folder (/ Library/Preferences/Adobe Media Encoder).

It will be recreated the next time you start.

This was strange was, I need provide the admin password to delete the folder, even though i's in my user Prefs.

This should not be the case and I suspect that's the reason of the accident (record rights issue, preventing Adobe Media Encoder writing it's own preferences folder)

    Hope this helps someone else.

  • Media Encoder CC won't start not

    Windows7 64 bit

    Media encode CC (7.0.1)

SOUL has worked some time. I exported a few jobs in its queue. Everything is good. Tried to cancel work and it appears to hang. You had to kill the application from the Task Manager.

Since then SOUL will not run. It crashes at startup. No screen... nothing. Appears briefly in the Task Manager, then disappears.

I deleted all the files from C:\Users\login\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder\7.0

Have reinstalled PremierProCC after uninstalling and using the cleaning tool.

Still no luck. Is there a queue no matter where that should be removed?  A may entry registry?

A MUCH SIMPLER SOLUTION: open the file (C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Adobe\SLCache\X19zbGNfZmVhdHVyZXNfXw==.slc) in any text editor, remove all content, save it and put the file read-only. You never have to remove it again and you won't have to mess with all this batch file, load order stuff.

  • Most applications to hang on startup, OSX, creative cloud

Suddenly, many of my Adobe applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, first, InDesign, After Effects, Dreamweaver, Fireworks) hang at startup. Some go beyond the start screen and show the gui, but hangs then on it, some never show anything other than bumping icon in the taskbar. It is interesting to Lightroom works. Acrobat works initially, but later crashes. Small tools are ok (Distiller, Content Viewer, Widget Browser, Media Encoder)

Resettlement has not worked. Removal of the configuration (~/Library/Preferences/Adobe) has failed. I guess it must be something that is common to large applications. But what?

Is there a quick way to uninstall everything at once?

Any quick help is very appreciated.

Edit: Completely reinstall all applications adobe has helped.

Thanks for letting us know that reinstall applications helped as this seemed to be a problem with some files or preferences corupt.

  • Adobe Media Encoder CC does not open

    I use an iMac with OS X 10.9.5 2014.

Everytime I try and open Adobe Media Encoder it starts loading and then open it I get an error message: Adobe Media Encoder has encountered an unexpected error and cannot continue.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall a couple of times but without success. This is the first time using the program so it has never been opened successfully before.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Media Encoder CS5 freezes during rendering

I created a project in first Pro CS5 (64 bit) on Windows 7 Pro x 64.  It takes 28 minutes.  When I try to go in Media Encoder CS5 (YouTube Widescreen HD), we get about 2/3 of the way through and then stops.  It does not close, it just hangs.  Not always in the same place (I tried four times).  If I click on stop queue, it asks if I am sure and when I say Yes (click 'No', in fact), it crashes and Windows presents its dialog box "Close the program?" followed by a dialog box saying: "PProHeadless.exe a Parisian of work" and asking if I want to close that, too.  I say Yes and return to the desktop.  I modified make VBR 2-pass VBR 1-pass, to see if she would get at least through the first pass without hanging, but he didn't.

I have created dozens of projects with these tools, more short but some more long and don't have never had this problem.  Any suggestions?  Thank you.

    Hi I_Iame,

I have created dozens of projects with these tools, more short but some more long and don't have never had this problem.  Any suggestions?  Thank you.

You may have a corrupted file or a video effect in your editing. Replace the clip or effect to this article and you should be able to encode once again.

    Thank you

It seems that the problem lies in the plug-ins Red Giant that you have installed on your system. Red giant is still working on the compatibility of the Mavericks. In the meantime, you should uninstall it to get the SOUL to launch correctly.

  • Reinstalling Adobe Media Encoder

Adobe Media Encoder crashes at startup.  He suggests that I have reinstall the application.  I use creative cloud and I was wondering the best method to reinstall.  I can't seem to find an uninstall program, and if I remove it from applications manually, it does not indicate it needs to be updated (in the update), or it will appear as an option in the application manager.  I guess that's because it is considered a part of the first.  Does this mean that I have to uninstall all of first?  I'd rather not... Any advice or suggestions welcomed.  Thank you!

  • Adobe Media Encoder CS5.5 does not start even

So here I am at J5 of the complete installation of CS5.5 (after the trial period, during which all worked fine) and every day there was a new challenge. Today, Adobe Media Encoder simply does not work. Not trying to do an export of the body and not only by himself, either. I get a screen to start for a few seconds, then it goes away and I get notification that it has stopped working. System restart has not cured it. This isn't a game-stopper, inasmuchas I can still import a sequence of the organism to After Effects and export from there. But certainly, I would use the TEA. I also tried to use the "Export" button in the window of the Organization export settings. Fortunately, it also works.

My first instinct was to try an uninstall / reinstall of SOUL, but I found that uninstalling SOUL is not an option. I'm guessing that this is part of another application, eventually the body, but I don't know.

    What do you say?

I had a problem with Media Encoder smoking during startup and the problem was corrupted preferences.   I remember well, it's that there is a key that you can press and hold while starting Media Encoder (maybe the Alt key) which will put it on and reset all proferences.   This cured my problem.  Hope you also helps.
