Media of first import workflow in DOUBLE LOCKED

Hello ladies and gentlemen!

The day where I found my inspiration to do my travel diaries has finally arrived! After two days of searching for the right music I want to make a few quick rough edit of the trailer for the complete series. Unfortunately, due to the huge amount of GoPro files, I have a problem with the navigation on all files. Bridge won't since it's not access SNS. Decided I will give the first a shot, I was doing when working with smaller projects. I love the novelty with proxy, but again - can't be a chosen which files can I import.

The files are located on DS415 + Synology NAS and I want so I could choose the one which copy/do proxy to consult. The problem exists in the thumbnails. Is there a way to "conform" all files at once? At the present time the vignettes show that when I click on the specific file. As you can see on the left lane structure, there are a lot of files in several folders it would take forever. Any ideas on that?

Also - what is your workflow when working with files located on the SNS? Copy them into the SSD are not an option, especially when there's half a terabyte of media in folders. (work on the new iMac with 500 GB SSD).

    What happens if these .wmv files are imported in first 13 project items using add media/files and folders from the Local C drive instead of what you describe in your internal network?

    That the program creates these wmv files? Specifically, what is the video compression? These files are converted between the device registration and import into Premiere Elements project?

    There are many sons of Premiere Elements and a solution on the use of music iTunes in Premiere Elements.

    The solution is to convert the iTunes version wav music in iTunes before importing the file into a Premiere Elements project.

    Hello world.

    I have a big question about how to use the dynamic links between After Effects, first announcement SpeedGrade expecially to make the color.

    I usually start with a pre cut first, without any color (speaking of lumetri) and then I export images in ae.

    I usually import fotage in Ae doing a simple copy and paste from Pr chronology to Ae.

    I don't like the links dynamics because big nested comps. After that I usually have to redo some cuts (because of last-minute client changes) so if I use the dynamics it just does not work because the comp is locked.

    Also, assuming that the same thing happens if I create a dynamic according links for the first I present the nested compositions. So if I want to do some color extended on the front lumetri I am having the same problem.

    So, why we cannot get a dynamic link 'open' smart?

    My workflow is probably wrong, but you must understand that I do all my work on my own, so I'd go back between the two after and first. Generally, I applied my color at the end of my work process, after having put graphics, stuff on caterpillars, etc. 3d.

    I don't see any use for these dynamic link. They seems to be quite difficult.

    Can someone explain a workflow that is not to destroy the dynamic process of back and forth between Pr, Ae, SpeedGrade and so on?

    You don't want the Dynamic Link option. More like file > import > Import Premiere Pro Project

  • The MXF files showing not lasting full media in first Pro CC, please help!

    Help, please.  I shoot football games on a Canon XF300.  Recently, I imported the MXF files in Premiere Pro (CC) 2015 (all updated after November 23, 2015) and some of the length of the support files won't display, as if the first show that 15% of the length of the MXF file from the beginning of the video.  I opened the MXF file using Quicktime player and VLC player... it works very well, the length, but not in first or Adobe Media Encoder.  I have imported the MXF, through the media browser files and double click on the create project window, still cut the duration of media.  Does anyone have any suggestions?  Thank you. -Paul

    Hi Paul,.

    It might be because of some issue of permission with the drive where the media is stored.

    Close all Adobe applications running.

    Rename the Source folder where the media is saved and then try to re-importation of Media Browser.

    Check if it's still the same.

  • Media encode/first Question Pro!

    Hey guys, first post here, been with Premiere Pro and the CC for a few years now.  I've never had this issue before and I wonder if it's my source material, so this is.

    First, I turn to a studio of local access TV show.  I've shot tons of things before, but with my cameras and equip, now I use their cameras that are not SD card or anything of the sort, they are connected to the system that create a RAW .mov file.  This RAW .mov file will show video and play audio if I'm watching it via VLC, but does not display any video in Premiere pro, once I import it into.  I thought Media Encoder would take care of it, but see in Media Encoder video black screen in media encode in the screen preview and once completed.  The original material is not good but that shouldn't matter and give as much information as possible, the cameras there are more than ten years.

    The .mov RAW file's Video bitrate audio and 26318 Kbps to 1536 kbps 48 kHz.  The computer I use is an Intel Core i7 - 4770 K CPU

    @3. 5 GHz with 16 GB of RAM.  I still use windows 7 64-bit on this system.  Now, I tried the same thing on my computer edition laptop and the same results.  The laptop is completely up-to-date for Premiere Pro and Media Encoder also.

    I'm waiting for the tech guy from the studio back to me, but it is not today and I should be changing this!  Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem?  I've been googling and check the codecs to see how I can solve this problem, but nothing I've tried up to now does not work.  Soon, I can reinstall just the whole thing (my internet is very slow so been avoiding that, will have to do it while I SLEEP).  Thank you for your time and your advice!

  • Broke the first / Speedgrade Workflow

    All updates for first CC after the 2015 base version is no longer a link button dynamic between the SpeedGrade project, which is the program I use for coloring. I advanced and downloaded the old version of first so now I have a version by 2015 and has installed separately 2015.3. I create my projects using 2015 and can then export to SpeedGrade very well, but there's a catch. Now, every time I save my coloring in SpeedGrade and try and it works at first, it records in the 2015.3 version, so it will not be open by 2015. While I open it in 2015.3, but the dynamic link to SpeedGrade disappeared, so if I want to update or add color through SpeedGrade, I have to save my sequence for Final Cut and then open 2015 and import everything and it is not always cooperative. The simple solution would be to destroy 2015.3 in an abyss of fire since the only noticeable update is they removed a key element, but the problem is that I have a lot of stray project files that require to open again and the only way to transfer via completely would be to check each my hundreds of files of project and export the timeline and re - register in 2015. The simple fact of the matter is that SpeedGrade integration literally deleted without reason after the 2015 version is completely unacceptable. I try to use a CC Adobe product with another product Adobe CC, it shouldn't be rocket science here.

    Adobe: for the love of God, can you PLEASE put SpeedGrade integration back in? Or at the very least, update SpeedGrade to NOT save projects in the bad first version that does not support yet? If you don't make changes on this in the next 30 days, I will be forced to change to a different program of color.

    Community: If anyone has any suggestions of workflow, I'm all ears. It's absolutely ridiculous. And does not suggest another color program, it is quite distinct to try something.

    Ah yes... There are a number of users (like me) in a similar situation. The official declaration that is the link directly between PrPro and Sg & return has been ignored because it did not seem as there were many users who still use it. UM. So the only way to register your disapproval of the choice with the people who actually make the decisions is to use bug/feature request report Adobe form. Higher level people don't come to that within Adobe system, this is considered as support to users. Declaration forms are tabulated and sent to all the right people.

    Which may or may not do what you & I prefer, but it's the way to get your feelings for them.

    And a user has created an application (for a small fee) which seems to work well enough to change a 2015.3/4 PrPro project to a compatible Sg2015.1 header to work this project within Sg via drag & drop the file to the project on the application on your desktop (PC, I don't know if there's a Mac version). If you drag & drop a file 2015.1, then recorded off Sg on the app, he mods the header back to compatibility 2015.3/4 PrPro 2015.4 use.

    NOTE: THIS APPLICATION IS NOT CERTIFIED BY ADOBE. (They seem to like having this note; I tried it and for me, it works as hoped).

  • Help in establishing an AE/first effective workflow.

    I work on several AE/first projects on a Pavilion M6 laptop and have a few drives that I use for storage/cache/export media and wonding what will be the best way to use each of them, or if I have to. My internal drive is a Sandisk SSD / 3 Gb/s, my second drive is a WD MyPassport 256 GB USB 2.0 5400 RPM HARD drive and my third is a Cruzer Sandisk Extreme 32 GB 3.0 USB flash drive. I'm on a HP Pavilion M6-1035DX if you need the system specs to make a decision. I currently have all my files on the MyPassport (because the extreme Cruzer flash drive isn't there yet) and wonder if I should:


    1. keep the media files on the MyPassport, run AE & first (and store the cache) on my flash SSD drive internal and export to the extreme Cruzer (when it happens here)
    2. or, move my project files and media at the Extreme Cruzer and run AE & first (and store the cache) on my SSD internal because the SSD is faster than the USB 2.0 drive (speeds of connection and read/write, USB 2.0 vs and vs 5400 RPS HDD SSD SATAII)
    3. or, move my project files and media at the extreme Cruzer, run AE & first on my internal SSD, and store the cache on my MyPassport (so it is not on the same drive as my project files, programs, or support)
    4. or, another configuration that I didn't think


    I have a lot of places that you must use three drives for editing and motion graphic video, but because there are so many technologies and potential bottlenecks involved I want to make sure I do it right/effectively.

    With all the reading and writing underway, on the startup disk, it is understandable that you need a dedicated disk (s) (number of) for video editing, especially with the bandwidth required when the length of the clip is short and the number of titles exceeds and uses a codec more complex than DV. The kind of files that are used during editing are, in order of their need for speed:

    1. Database cache cache media & media files created on the import of media in a project. They contain indexed, consistent audio and files peak for waveform display.

    Generally small files, but many of them, so ultimately they still occupy a lot of space.
  • Created during Preview (made) files of the timeline is executed for the purpose of the preview, the red bar turned green. Read all the time during the preview of the time line.
  • Project files, including backup project files, automatic that constantly read and recorded as written when and automatic backup files save your changes.
  • Media files, the original video material ingested from tape or card based cameras. Usually long files, used only for playback, since PR is a non-destructive Editor.
  • Export files, created in the timeline is exported to its final delivery format. These files are usually only written once and often vary from several hundred KB to a few tens of GB.
  • When you are doubt which category of files to put on what type of disc, especially when you use the SSD and HDD, remember that the speed advantage of SSDS on the HARD drives is most notable with the cache of media & media cache database. These files frequently access, are small and there are many, thus reducing latency and seek time and transfer increasing rate payer off the coast by putting them on an SSD, rather than on a HARD drive, even if it's a raid0. Export files can go slower on your system, since volume export you only once. To help you decide, I added row-numbers of priority for speed, for the fastest volume 1 and 5 for the less demanding category in speed.

  • What is the best way to catalog my media prior to importation?

    I have a new computer on the way and I was wondering if some of you guys could help me put up a good file structure. I've been on a mac for the last 10 years and one thing that pulled the average hand is how I import and save the map media. Although I never lost the connections to all the media in the last decade, it looks a mess and it take me quite awhile to locate the thing because it has become out of control.

    Can someone point me in the direction of some good links to read about it? A new computer means a fresh start, and before I start editing on first Pro, I want to ensure I've got the best structure possible files in place for my media.

    recommend the implementation of the subfolders in the video folder called "card0", "card02" and so on

    That's how I do it.

    Folder (whatever it's called) the project > video > card1 > DCIM > 100CANON... etc.

    I recommend keeping the video about it's own separate drive, alone.  So you should have:

    Name of the project

    Map 1

    DCIM

    Map 2

    DCIM

    etc.

    Keep all the other elements of the project in other folders on a separate hard drive.

    If the problem is with double soundtracks in the Windows Media Player library, this problem occurs because the Windows Media Player library database is corrupted.
     
    To resolve this problem, delete the Windows Media Player database. To do this, follow these steps:

    (a) output Windows Media Player.

    (b) click Start, click run, type %LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft\Media Player, and then click OK.

    (c), select all the files in the folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

    Note You don't have to remove the folders that are in this folder.

    (d) restart Windows Media Player.

    Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

    If this does not resolve the problem, disable the Windows Media Player database cache files. To do this, follow these steps:

    (a) output Windows Media Player

    (b) click Start, click run, type % LOCALAPPDATA%\Microsoft, and then click OK.

    (c) select the Media Player folder, and then click delete on the file menu.

    (d) restart Windows Media Player.

    Note Windows Media Player automatically rebuilds the database.

    Hi all

    We have an existing installation of WCS (7.0.240.0).

    I built a Server Infrastructure first release 1.3.0.20 running.

    Initially, I had to look at our existing WCS set up migration, but the process in two steps (WCS->-> first NCS) watched topics to errors. Goal to jump and concentrate and set up of the blank page.

    The only exception was the floorplan for the Wifi card, I was able to export these lines of WCS to premium without any hicups.

    Then I added our main WLC and assigned the access points to the correct cards.

    Sweet!

    Now, I would like to get the models for our WLCs I have a couple more to deploy. The problem is that I don't want to manually configure templates first. WCS had the ability to import an existing WLC models, a WLC goldern config. I can't find any doco showing this ability. Everyone falls on something similar or another way I could achieve?

  • Premiere Pro - media will not import correctly

    All of a sudden the video footage that I import to first does not read in the source viewer. In the same statement with the question, I used several video clips of the unit itself. What is going on?!? Totally frustrated

  • 11 "Green Media" Bug - first elements all help?

    Hey everyone, I am having trouble with the first elements 11. Whenever I have add data to this project, he bugs and the entire video becomes green.

    The video itself is not the problem, as I have tried with other videos. This just started to happen, it was fine before. I use Windows 10. I tried to restart the program to see if it would be fixed, but not luck. Any help would be appreciated.Adobe Premiere Elements 11 8_17_2015 5_28_53 PM.png

    Thanks for the follow up with important details of troubleshooting.

    NVIDIA Shadow Play catches have had problems in the past with Premiere Elements. I realize you are facing at a before and after the situation. But I suspect that this is independent of the operating system and version of Premiere Elements. But the answer will be in the details.

    The following link refers to an audio problem with NVIDIA Shadow Play video and Premiere Elements.

    Audio recordings of Nvidia Shadowplay is asynchronous to the video in first 12 items! How can I solve this problem?

    Think about download and install handbrake to get the H.264.mp4 @ version rate constant frame and then import this file in first 11 elements. Is the missing issue or?

    Premiere Elements does not do well with the video recorded with a variable rate. The symptoms are out of sync audio to not be able to import the file at all.

    Please confirm... are the current green imports into Premiere Elements of today project the same real files who worked before the 10th of Windows?

  • The subelements of first import problem

    I'm trying (warp) stabilize the images I use in first.  It's kinda subitems 10 and twenty-second, I created the first of a 3 minute clip.   I can't understand sort of see them even in AE to import at least think I import the entire project or the full clip.    When I import all of the Adobe project gives me the error 'strange situation' that will not clear and requires the Task Manager to close the application.  I want to just pull into several subclips and stabilize.  Any suggestions?

    I prefer not to use the dynamic link. Apparently not, for me, to be ready for prime time, or at least my skills covered, which in AE is limited.    Thank you

    Create a new sequence of your 3 subclips and select them all at once or one at a time and use Dynamic link to open them in an AE project, stabilize one at a time, MAKE your clips stabilized and import them into AE. DO NOT attempt to keep these clips stabilized warp live in an AE project. First, your file size will be huge due to stabilization data, in the second place, it will take much more time to go through dynamic links that if you go before the clips to an organization hosting Production Codes (DI - digital intermediate) and 3, any other manipulation in AE or Premiere Pro will be much more effective with rendered clips.
