  I use bold9900. No matter when play me music on my phone after awhile as it will restore and when I try to play, it will show media processor busy, this will not stop until I have hard reset on the phone, and also all the alert on my phone for pings and other appliction will be tight, until I do the hard reset.   New on the message boards here - I just downloaded my first mp3 to my BB Pearl 8130.

  I bought on amazon, then downloaded as a .wav file to try to get thim in my roxio Media Manager.  Just change the type of file to all files and then put a. WAV extension in the file name.  I do not think that they have downloaded in the roxio properly because shen that I try to play the songs on my BB, I get a message "Error reading" and it says that device Media Processor is busy?

  Is it possible to add in roxio as .amz file type?  Or is just the compressed file .amz file type? Help!

  Never mind - I think that I thought about it!  'Unzipped' just the amazon file and then put in the Roxio.  Thanks anyway!

  With the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

• Unable to get the total number of records processed by the processor of trade rules

  I use a business rules processor to implement multiple business rules on one record and I am looking for a summary of the number of records increased and does not have a specific rule.

  
  To illustrate:
  Suppose there are 2 rules, invalid number in Column1 and valid number on Column2.
  10 records to process and 3 folders don't rule 1 (valid on column1) and 9 entered failure of rule 2 (valid number on Column2).

  In the browser of result of the processor Business, the number of past records and failed is displayed but is not part of the output of the processor itself. In the example above, there will be 1 pass and 9 fail records and given the values of said the total number of records can be derived which is 10.

  This is why the expected output will be:
  Success of failure
  Rule 1:7 (10-3) 3
  Rule 2: 1 (10-1) 9
  Note: The number of records that failed can be derived from the table of the rule ID but I don't know how to get the total number of records in order to calculate the number of records that a given rule.

  I defined in trade controls reference data the following configuration:

  Define by test of name checking:

  Type checking: check list

  Option 1: MOVE

  
  

  After that, I created a rule in the rules of reference data in accordance with the following:

  Rule ID: tstrule

  Apply to attribute: attribut1

  Check 1: define by test

  In the business rule processor, I traced attribute1 with the STATUS column. The STATUS column contains only the value either a SUCCESS or FAILURE .

  I expect all records with a value of pass to be in the list of records passing because PASS equals the value defined in the list, check however all records are appearing in the list of failure in the processor business.

  My understanding is that if you create a check and then use it directly in the rule as long as the check is satisfied (PASS = PASS), it must go through the processor business rule.

  Please indicate why the records are in a failed State.

  Note: I tried surrounding the value of Option 1 with single quote and double quote, but I got the same result.

  Tested this case and it worked fine.

  You have all white spaces in the data or something?

  Or do you have other rules in the cheque which fail to record? You can see which rules are incorrect in the output.

• How a VMGuest can see a number of physical ESX host processor

  Not sure if this is expected behavior or not, but I have some application that runs from a linux machine to vmguest in my cluster Vsphere 4.0 U1 that is able to see the number of sockets processor busy on the ESX host that it is currently at. I never saw that happen up to now on another system in our environment. On Linux operating plan, when you run the "cpuinfo", the show only reviews the number of virtual processors assigned to it. I don't know how this program is able to see all the way down beyond the virtualization layer to the actual physical hardware layer on the esx host.

  My first thought was that this was triggered after the installation of the VM Tools on the guest operating system, but even after turning off the service tools you can still see the real taken account on the host computer.

  Can someone explain to me how this is possible?

  Regardless of the tool that allows you to watch the CPU I have a strong suspicion about what is happening here.
  The exact CPU type in/proc/cpuinfo is listed: "AMD Opteron Processor 6164 HE.
  I guess that the tool you are using has some knowledge (using an internal list of program or by retrieving this information somewhere on the internet) that this CPU has really 12 hearts and he only relies on it and reported that the machine has 12 cores, instead of looking at what is really reported by the operating system.
  So, he just does not have the right to work and is not aware of virtualization.
  In any case, it is not really able to look directly into the hypervisor.

• timeout when calling Player.start

  In my last project, I have so many headaches just play a sound for running OS 5.0 for the 8520. The app works fine on other operating systems, from 4.5 to 7.0. The audio file is a small wav file included with the app resources.

  After coding a workaround for the stupid exception "Media processor is busy", now I'm having fun with this one:

  net.rim.device.internal.media.RimMediaException: Timed out waiting for UD|LD
  

  It is thrown away after a BIG delay (I'm talking about 5 to 10 minutes) after the call to Player.start.

  As always, no info anywhere. Any help will be much appreciated.

  Solved.

  I had the player always previously retrieved, ready for a quick game after that call to start, then leaving previously read again after the call to stop. I have developed games in JavaME and this is the way to go, since expensive initialization is supposed to be done after you call create.

  However, the BlackBerry of the JSR-135 is terribly bad and buggy on some devices (especially the berries of cheapo running OS 5.0), and not only you receive no performance advantage when this, but you do sometimes get strange like this (and other) exceptions. Also in CDMA devices you can get in trouble, because only a player is allowed to exist, so when a phone call or other event try to play a sound, a player can be cut and remain in a State unconsistent.

  So in the BB, I would absolutely recommend instantiating the player from scratch whenever you need to read the sound and its closure (close call) when finished. This workaround solution solved my problem.

  Start with a reset - remove the battery then under tension and leave for a few minutes.

  What OS are you using the Menu > Options > topic (all 4 parts please).

  How long have you used m.youtube.com?

  Have you downloaded anything just before the disorder from?

  Make sure that you don't have too many applications running at the same time. Options > close rather than just escape or by pressing the red button.

  What is the issue that you are experiencing that you think that the system restore will be remedied (or you are just convenient)? System Restore is not a time machine.

  Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, MSE, Comodo, etc..

  Some tools Anti Virus 'protect' your system so that they will not allow a restore of the system work properly.
  For example, if you use Norton/Symantec products, you will see a message like this:
  Restoration incomplete. Your computer cannot be restored...
  It is also a popular Symantec problem (well, I'll be polite and call an "undocumented feature"...), they wrote an article about it:

  According to what you use for malware protection, you may need to disable the product temporarily, do the system restore and then turn the products light up again when the system restore is complete.
  Sometimes you need start your system in Mode safe and so that your protection programs are not running, and then do the system restore.  Tips from Microsoft in some of their articles that if the system restore does not restore your computer, start in Safe Mode, and then run the system restore.  It works for some configurations.
  System Restore is sometimes so afflicted or Restore Points are suspicious, the best solution is to reinstall your system restore.  This will remove the old Restore Points, but sometimes it's the only way to fix a broken system restore.  You don't have to reinstall XP, only the part of system restore.
  That can leave you with your problem of unspecified origin that you hope the system restore will fix (using a system restore is usually not equivalent to fixing the problem though).
  Give these ideas some consideration if they apply to you.
