  Hi all

  I try to use the "stacking of layers - smart objects - mode"option. However 'stacking mode' is grayed out. I read on some forum posts that this feature is available only with CS4 extended.

  Can someone tell me if that is correct. And if so is there a way to upgrade to allow me to get the long version?

• Stacking and align the pictures of the Moon

  I took 20 full moon pictures with my digital SLR. I tried to stack them to produce a clearer picture with less noise, but its does not work. Can someone help me please?

  Here are the steps I use

  1. the use of the file - Scripts - load files in a stack

  When this check all two "attempt automatically Align Source images" and "Create Smart object after loading layers"

  2. Select the smart object

  3. go to the layer stack Mode - Smart Objects - median

  If there is a problem in aligning the layers change the above to:

  Do not check not "trying to automatically Align Source images" and "Create Smart object after loading layers.

  2 reduce the opacity of the layers and use move to align manually

  3. increase the opacity to 100%

  4. create a smart object from the layers (layer - Smart Objects - Convert to smart object)

  5. Select the smart object

  6. go in the layer stack Mode - Smart Objects - median

The documentation mentions that the stacking SFP port provides 2 band widths. 5 g. So the question is to achieve the stacking of 10G speeds requires to use 4-port SFP and have as aggregated links?

  2 ports on the GS752TS (B) can be configured for stacking (ports 51 and 52). When it is configured in the stacking mode, battery operated 2.5Gbps ports full-duplex. With 2 port on a switch in battery mode, is whence the bandwidth stacking 10 Gbps (each port battery 2.5Gbps in both directions).

  I can't stack my new switches to N1548. I changed the status on two Fibre ports on each of the two switches to 'stack' by using "stack stack-port 1/0/3 tengigabitethernet" and added the command "Start Auto-setting day - sw" on both. The command 'See the switch port battery' shows te1/0/3 and 4 on both switches as a "stack." Both switches power off and inserted Dell sfp 1 GB single tranceivers te1/0/3 of that and te1/0/4 on the other. Restarted a switch and inserted a single rider. Started the second switch and no link on the switch or light, or no message to the console.

  Yes, this is what it looks like, this is so that there is enough bandwidth. They work with transceivers to 1 GB Ethernet mode but not stack mode.

  I am trying to stack two Dell Powerconnect 6248 switches. Currently they are chained together, but I modules fibre for the front sfp ports. Theoretically, I should be able to stack them. But when I try:

  The PCT6200 requires a stack of modules installed in Bay 1 (XG1 XG2) at the rear of the switch. The stacking module uses CX4/Infiniband type stacking spacers.

  On the SGE2010 - Default stacking ports: 24/GBIC 3, 48/GBIC 4 stacking support, i.e. the two ports.

  If you want a GAP between SGE2010, my suggestion, and others may disagree, would be to stop the default stacking mode and standalone mode.

  Then create a GAP between the SGE2010 switches.

  I have a video file loaded. In the converted to smart object layers, I read in the submenu dynamic object is where I can choose the mode of stacking. I don't see any stacking option?

  Am I missing something?

  I want to use the Minimum and Maximum of stacking.

• Forgotten Technique required
