However, if I were you, I would ask to borrow a disc of windows of a friend or a neighbour then contact Microsoft for activation, making sure to explain the circumstances surrounding the re-setup.

  they do it for a nominal cost of $

  also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought

  you would normally press F10 or F11 or Alt + F10, 0 at startup to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer

  and activate the procedure described in step 4.

I was running many marks on the multiple of my SSD before I changed my ISP and I could do an activation online with no problem now.
