Menu blackBerry Smartphones simple row - 5.0
I take the 5.0 software and although it's not a big deal, it seems to me no longer have the possibility of having a row menu at the bottom of my Storm held vertically. I have a soft image that is covered with two rows menu. I can resize the image, but he loved how it looked, under the old menu of a line. Any ideas on how to get the menu a line?
If you go to your main screen and click the BB button, choose OPTIONS, you will see the House of the Preferences screen, choose the PAGE layout option and you will see the option to choose 1, 2 or 3 rows or today. Save your preferences and you're good to go

Menu blackBerry Smartphones Facebook problem
After installing FB on my BB 8530, I noticed that the menu only shows what is highlighted. The rest of the menu is not visible. Also, when I want to comment on a photo, which I downloaded and you want to validate, the text does not appear. In others, I don't see what I texted (spelling and grammar), until it is posted on my wall. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times, so that resets hard without result. I like the app, but the issue of hatred. Any help. Thank you. BD
Hello bdja,
Are you using a 3rd party theme or default BlackBerry theme? Used once a 3rd party theme and experienced the same thing so I had to find a new theme to use.
If you use a 3rd party theme, change to a standard BlackBerry theme and check your Facebook application.
Let me know how make you out!
Thank you

BlackBerry Smartphones simple, simple instructions please
I am not techinical so be very clear with all the instructions. Two months ago, I received my new Z10 business of Blackberry and my Blackberry "BOLD" has been removed in a drawer. I've just realized that there are pictures on my Blackberry "BOLD" that would be fantastic for a report I am and now I can't get the Blackberry "BOLD" for putting on even after I charged the device. Any suggestions?
Hi @tina-murphy
If the photos are on a media card in your "BOLD", you can remove and insert it into the Z10 in order to see your photos.
If photos have been saved in the memory of the unit "BOLD", however you will need to get the unit running in order to copy the pictures. You have access to another battery, that you can use to test?

Hi all
I read free ads storms where they indicate the Verizon Storm (ANSI CDMA) has been unlocked and can be used on any network, including AT & T and T-Mobile (GSM). Is this true or false just advertising? I don't see how that's possible. GSM and CDMA protocols are completely different air interfaces. In my view, there must be at least 2 verisons of the storm. One for CDMA (Verizon and Sprint) and one for the mobile PHONE (T-Mobile and AT & T)
Please notify.
Thank you...

I have a Blackberry 9300. I noticed while testing option 'restore' in Blackberry Desktop Software 'Saved messages' is grey so not able to restore and downloaded programs were not included in the backup course so I'm delaying the update of the OS 6 bundle OS 6 bundle 1879 2949 until I can get these issues resolved. First of all, where are my saved text messages would be they located on the SD card? Secondly, where are the downloaded applications and how would bring him back, I should reinstall individually or is there a better method I guess updating the software of the device would eliminate any reference to them? Thanks in advance, Marcia

My problem, I think that will be most of the downloads and installations have been from the Blackberry web, although "My World" lists apps, I have only the option to remove and reinstall yet if I so choose. That's why I need to dig a little deeper on the aspect of the place here.To reinstall your applications, see this KB:
- KB17625 How to install or transfer has already purchased apps from BlackBerry App World for BlackBerry smartphone
You may also need to clear the cache of application AppWorld:
1. open the App World
2. go to my world
3. follow one (and only one!) of these steps:
3. for the BB keyboard-oriented - hold down the ALT key and press on, in the sequence R, then S, then T
3B. for touch screen only BBs - hold the num-lock (! 123 button) so that it hangs and then press on, in the sequence 3, then 4, then)
3 c for the most recent (e, g., OS6 and 7) BB s, see this KB:
- KB24714 How to clear the cache of BlackBerry App World
4 AppWorld must close
5. If your BB locks after issuing clear cache, do a battery pull reboot
6. return to AppWorld/MyWorld (it can be slow, while it re - sync).
If (4) stage arrives not as described, then the empty the cache failed.

I was also interested to read your information on the primary database of smartphone that made me wonder if it was at this location that the saved text messages were built. I mention this as I save some of my text messages I can consult at any time by selecting 'View the Messages stored' in the menu messages text, which lists the emails and text messages, that you saved. The Interface of Messages is against the databases on the BB... Watch a saved messages can be as simple as a filter that is applied to display only those, but always from the same database. Also understand that the 'Messages' is a term Super set, with "email", "SMS", and other types of messages into subsets.

Saving messages electronic elsewhere are not a problem but saved SMS backup does not seem to be an option, why would I need to check this feature before upgrading the device software. Appreciate your answer to that one.As I said, I suspect saved SMS Messages to be a subset of the base of great set 'SMS Messages"together with the message 'saved' being a subset within this database.
I can't answer definitively for you because I've never had the problem you are experiencing. You may need to test to know for sure.
Good luck!

BlackBerry smartphones having problems in Blackberry Curve Notifications of 9320
Hello
I have a problem with notifications. I read all the mails in blackberry but still notification shows the unread mails are there. But I have checked there is completely no emails unread in all ID e-mail tha I have configured. Please suggest me what should I do now to fix this...
Hi mc_selvendran
Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support
Sometimes a simple restart battery pull is able to solve this problem, but always on your home screen, open the main Message box > highlight a day say today > press the Menu key > click Mark read beforehand. Finally, perform a restart battery pull by removing the battery while your device is turned on, wait a minimum then reinsert back. After the reboot, see if the problem resolves.

BlackBerry smartphone Curve 9360 sometimes warms us up a little bit and the battery is discharged
Hi, my blackberry 9360 is sometimes a really weird thing. Once a week, after that I used the device to check email, check facebook or even simply by removing the door in leather and put it right back it drains the battery at a very fast pace and hotter than usual. I'm not aware immediately, but when I use the unit 3 hours later for example the battery is almost all gone and the unit is warmer than usual. Please not that it is warmer, but at a level acceptable, just as if it had been used during this period of time, not overheating. I charge the unit and check the activity monitor application and the CPU was mainly used by the... Idle CPU. The part of the device that heats is not the battery, but the device itself. It is rather annoying because I don't know when it will happen again. The only email account, I have installed is a Hotmail account and it goes as well with wifi on and outside. Someone has an idea it might be? Thank you in advace for help. Best regards, Alexander

Are sure you you are in an area where you have a good network coverage signal strength or if falls frequently.
While our BlackBerry devices can feel hot tell a long browsing session, play games, download countinous or all supported. If we hold the Menu for a few seconds, it will open a screen that will display all the programs running in the background, usually five will always be there (host, BBM, Message, phone, browser) you can always check if any other applications. run in the background.
We should always try to close Applications correctly - avoid using key end to close the applications because it just minimizes the application and let it run in the background. Instead, press the Menu key, select close or Exit to exit the application. Don't let your browser open when not in use. If programs are running in the background, it will also allow overheating and also to quick battery drainage. Please take a look at those Article I don't know that it will help you overcome your problems:
KB14320 How to maximize the battery life and available memory on the BlackBerry smartphone.

But, if you feel that this device heats up more then average, then you should visit your service provider for assistance.

BlackBerry Smartphones BB Messenger disappeared
I tried the update Blackberyy Messenger by downloading and installing a later version on being invited by the Blackberry World. Later, I realized that BB Messenger is gone off my phone, but App World it says it is installed. I tried to remove and reinstall and it won't allow me. Help, please.
Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support
First try a battery pull restarts, if it is still impossible to locate and remember it's not hidden, to check that the screen is in the Panel Home screen ALL > press the Menu key and select "Show all icons" or icon to display "." It will show all of the icons that were previously hidden. If you see BlackBerry Messenger icon like grayed then highlight it and press the Menu key and select the icon to display, also search your folders as the Application of Instant Messaging folder, etc..
If it is still impossible, then try reinstalling the BBM, but first on your homescreen go to Options > device > application management > locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list.
KB10040 : How to display or remove installed application on a blackberry smartphone
Once it is perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered, wait a min, then reinsert back.
Finally, after the reboot, use your BlackBerry browser and go to www.blackberry.com/bbmdownload for download the latest available for your device.

BlackBerry Smartphones built in storage media errors, not now restart...
During the last two weeks, I received several cases where I received
the following error message: "built in storage not accessible due to a detected errors. You want to repair? »
I said yes and he fixed the problem. Yesterday, I sent a BBM message and the phone reset... on suddenly it reboot only gets 3/4 of the way through the startup process (stops under the 1 'r' in the Blackberry logo).I tried a multitude of things I've seen on many forums, including let it stand all night with the battery, try to start in safe mode (which I never could get it to do). This morning, it does the same thing. I found a post that suggested to reformat the internal memory, which I should have done when I had questions.
Is it possible to get this reformatted internal memory if the phone does not start? Any suggestions would be helpful. I will ask a new phone of my business, but know that I won't get it until tomorrow... so I'm willing to try anything to make it work again (today).
P.S. Yes, I'm one of those guys who will lead to 10 miles around traffic stopped, just to keep moving! ;-)

9320 constant restart blackBerry smartphones after trying to activate the Bluetooth
My BB Curve 9320 is constant restarting.
I got the phone about 9 months. I went to activate Bluetooth for the first time today. As soon as I opened the menu bar and "verified" bluetooth, the phone turns off. It began to restart... He went through the entire cycle of loading and reach the screen normal, but after 3 seconds stops and restarts again. Permanently.
I have:
-taking the battery (several times): continues
-a followed the advice to start in safe mode, it will start in safe mode, but stops after 3 seconds and restarts
-connected to the laptop via USB, but the computer will not come to get the camera to access
I actually got on the screen and in the second 3 window was able to click on the set of networks to see that Bluetooth is more "verified"-any, yet what have the 3 seconds before the reboot cycle.

BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry World is not available in your country
I bought a 'new' curve 9300 on ebay. When I try to access Blackberry World, he comes back with the message that it is not currently available in your country. But I'm in the United Kingdom and the phone's GPS must be tell what. Are there settings in the phone that needs to change or should I return it to the seller? I tried to look through the menu options and searched the Internet without success.
1. read this:
BlackBerry Smartphone must be wiped before Security transfer of property
2. don't you know that this device was working before? Or the seller sells you a device that he had the same problem with?
3. do you have a SIM card in the device, and installation of the unit, do you have your BBID and your country, etc.. ?

I have a problem with the icon on a Bold 9790 email box. This is the icon of the envelope with the blue turning the planet.
I have two email accounts configured in the Options-> e-mail accounts.
However, only one is displayed on the screen.
Who does not have the envelope-and-planet icon can receive messages in the global Messages menu, but it's confusing, because this mailbox emails mingle with calls, BBM and electronic messages in the Inbox mailbox on the other.
How can I solve this?
Thanks in advance,
