  Hello, our printer is only 6 months old and has been excellent until a week ago from work. He suddenly disappeared from our list of available printers, and I get a message "no printers are available" when I try to add new. This is the case on desktop (iMac) as well as mobile devices.

  I checked the settings wireless to the printer, which are very good. I printed a test page successfully, and also all the results on the printed wireless network Test results show a 'pass '.

  I have re-installed the software and drivers, but can't go beyond the installation page, because the printer is not recognized.

  Try to unplug your router for 30 seconds, plug back and restart your Mac and the printer, and then try to add the printer in Print & Scan again.

  If the same persist, can you have any network changes lately? for example a new installation of a new router, router firmware, etc.?

• All 4 printers have disappeared from the list of printers & faxes; reason & need help please!

  Good day to all! (I hope yours goes better mine has)

  When you try to access my internet postage program, I got a message that it was unable to initialize the printer.  When I checked the list of Printers and faxes in Control Panel... I find 4 all printers who WERE there yesterday... are now gone.

  (This excerpt shown below is extracted from the Microsoft support page & described EXACTLY my problem)

  • When you click Startand then click Printers and faxes to try to view your printers, no printers appear. This problem may occur even if you have a printer installed.
  • When you click Add a printer, or when you try to print, you may receive the following error message and cannot add a printer:
  "Operation could not be performed.  Printer Spooler service is not running.

  I tried several times to use "Fix - it" Microsoft online service, and he could not solve the problem.  I just kep saying me he couldn't solve the problem.  It is absolutely No. MS supports available unless you have at least $59.00 or more to pay for trying to help!  "Terminal" and valid on a model of disability very limnited former fighters from one month to the other... I could not certainly not even begin to afford no paid... help unfortunately.

  I am NOT computer saavy and I don't any idea as well WHERE to start... much less HOW to solve this problem!  Unless I can get this printer spooler service, or something else... running... I can't even begin to try to re - install a printer I have.

  I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can offer!  I'm at the end of my tether here!  Thank you very much for your time and review!

• Dreamweaver CS5 for Mac does not open

  I use Dreamweaver CS5 on the latest Mac OS - suddenly when I try to run I see "Dreamweaver" in the upper left corner and that's it. It does not open or display the usual menu choices.

  I advise you to try the 3 steps mentioned below one by one (restart is recommended after each step):

  1 fix the disc using DiskUti permissions in the utility. Link below explains how to use it.

• Dreamweaver CS5.5 using OLD browser widget...

  I recently upgraded from Dreamweaver CS5 version 5.5 - and watched a video Lynda.com showing CS5.5 news.

  One of the focused videos on new features in the Widget browser, specifically:

  1. the ability to import/export widget preset configurations

  2. the ability to drag a widget in a document opened by clicking a new 'Drag and Drop '.

  Now, when I load 5.5 and go into the Widget browser... any of these new features is present. The import and export buttons are nowhere to be seen, and is not the icon "Drag and Drop". It seems to load the same Widget browser exactly as version 5.

  Any ideas how to get to load the correct Widget browser?

  (I still have Dreamweaver CS5 on my system. I thought that the update would be to copy on it, but it didn't...)

  There is an easier and faster way which does NOT uninstall and reinstall.

  On the PC:

  Go to the folder of installation for DWCS5.5 (English\payloads\AdobeDreamweaverWidgetsBrowser1.0-mul C:\Users\yourname\Desktop\Adobe CS5.5\Dreamweaver CS5.5) & run the WidgetBrowser.air installation program. At the launch, it will detect your old version of browser Widget & ask your permission update.

  On Mac:

  Delete the old Widget browser in the folder Applications / Adobe.

  Go to the folder of the installer for DWCS5.5 on your drive inside the imagefile open for installation or installation and proceed to \Adobe CS5.5\Dreamweaver English\payloads\AdobeDreamweaverWidgetsBrowser1.0-mul CS5.5) & run the WidgetBrowser.air Installer. At the launch, it will ask permission to install it.

  My screen/start menu disappeared from my office about a month ago and have not been able to recover. I have a HP Pavilion m9340f (product # KQ497AA-ABA, software build 83NAv6PrA1) Vista Home premium. Motherboard is Intel G31/G33/P31/P35.

  Tried the "click and drag" method with the pointer of the mouse, slowly working the pointer offscreen to one. I know that the solution is simple, but may not know... DOH!

  The simple thing to try is first of all to choose to restart the computer, that can solve. I suspect that your PC started with the default profile instead of yours.

• Playback bar disappears from the slide content when browsing back to a question slide

  My captivate project has the PlayBar disabled on quiz questions, which works very well.  However, if I move to the back of a quiz in a content slide, the PlayBar is gone (even if it is the first time I saw the content).  I tried to adjust the cpcmndshowplaybar to 1 on this content slide to see if it would work, but no luck.

  I tried an empty project with a 1 x blade and question slides x 1 and I get the same bug, disappears from the play bar.

  Hi all, I made a workaround for the problem as follows:

  1 to edit > Preferences > Quiz > settings: I unchecked «hide PlayBar in Quiz»

  2. in the project > Skin Editor: I unchecked «hide PlayBar in Quiz»

  3. on skiing all the content, I executed a playback show advanced action cpCmdShowPlaybar with 1 bar

  4. in the Question pool, on all the content slides I executed a PlayBar hide advanced action cpCmdShowPlaybar with 0

  That did the trick, it is not save time or probably not the right way to do it, but has solved the problem.

  Please bear with me as I'm not familiar with coding and usually work in design mode.

  I was faced with the menu bar drop-down menu with Spry horizontal and finally managed to do look like I want it to look. I have inserted in my template page. When I saw in the browser, it seems to work correctly. So far so good.

  When I apply the template to a page, all the CSS style disappeared (without defined styles or applied properties)

  in Design view. In Live View mode, it seems OK. Unfortunately, I've updated several pages, and all have the same problem.

  Can someone please? I'm at my wits end!

  Previously, I always applied a model to a page by clicking Edit/models/apply a page template. He has always worked in the past before you insert a menu bar horizontal Spry. That seems to have created the problem.

  Your suggestion was very helpful. Now, I can at least see the styling (although not the Spry bar menu style). I'll have to re-do about 8 pages, but it's a much smaller mountain to climb now.

  On my PPC G5 my router suddenly disappeared from the menu at the top right.
  I made the mistake of accidentally click on BTWIFI-with-FON (which also appears in the list) and since then all except BTWIFI-with-FON has disappeared from the list.

  I tried unpugging my router for 2 minutes and restart my Mac, but nothing helped.

  My laptop is however always recognizing the router and able to connect to the internet.

  You can try to reset the Dreamweaver preferences.

  Following the file and the folder are removed from your system:

  / Users / your User Name/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Dreamweaver

  Rename the folder of Dreamweaver preferences, for example, Dreamweaver CS5.5 Old_Dreamweaver CS5.5 folder.

  / Users / your user name/Library/Preferences

  Rename the folder of Dreamweaver preferences, for example, Dreamweaver CS5.5 Old_Dreamweaver CS5.5 folder.

  Restore preferences in Dreamweaver CS4 and CS5, CS5.5

  Access the hidden library files Mac OS

  When Dreamweaver starts, it creates a new preferences file and the folder.

  If it helps doesnot, maybe you can try to create a new admin user account and check. If this is useful, you can try to uninstall and reinstall in the new user account.

• Cannot restart, logoff or closed using 10.11.5. Cabins Finder; disappears from the menu bar, the dock still operational.

  I can't log off, restart or stop my MBP. Disappears from the menu bar, desktop files disappear, but dock is still operational. The only way is to force a stop down with the power button. Only a recent problem within the last week or 2. El Capitan updated in similar delays, could it be linked?
