Message from Windows 8 on computer

MR.

The following message now appears briefly on the screen when I turn on my computer (only 4 months)

"Unable to connect to a Windows service. Windows could not connect to the Windows Service all users install Agent. This problem prevents standard users connect. As long as administrator, you can view the log of events system for details why the service did not respond. "

I have little knowledge in computer science and I wonder why this message now

Concerning

M.

I'm talking about a thread dealing with the same problem and apparently, users with this problem found a weird resolution as well. You can read the discussion here:

http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/Forum/windows_8-performance/probems-with-Windows-all-user-install-agent/db50c1c5-dad7-4d48-bf3e-9dad923e96a9

The resolution, as we have it is to make a stop in the computer with the problem. You are a force of closing of a computer by long pressing the power on / off button, probably for 4-5 seconds. Once this is done, you must start the computer normally.

Just to let you know, I've never seen this problem. Any suggestion I provided here is based on the discussion I've read in this thread. I hope that helps you as well!

  • A call unsolicited "Windows Care", indicating that the computer has been send messages to Windows, wanted access computer to solve the problem. Is this a legitimate call?

Original title: I will take a phone call from "Windows Care" telling me that my computer was sending Windows messages.  He wanted to access my computer to solve the problem.  Is anyone aware of this company?

Does anyone got a call from 213-221-3528 "Windows Care"?  I received a phone call from "Windows Care" telling me that my computer was sending Windows messages.   I had some problems with error messages saying that there is an unknown device on my computer.  The care Windows person wanted access to my computer to solve the problem.  I would not grant him permission until I have check this.  Everyone is aware of this company and it is legitimate?

It is most certainly NOT legitimate.  There are a great many scams running right now, in many countries around the world, with similar claims. None of them believe.  Microsoft never call unless you called first and made arrangements for a recall to work.

When I try to send an email from windows mail, it gets stuck in Outlook and said I need the POP3 server.  I have followed before a mode page 8 on what he should do but does always the same thing.  Why do I have the server appropriate for something that has been installed before I bought my computer?

Your post makes no sense. How a Windows Mail message could get stuck in Outlook? You have an account set up in Windows Mail?

Please post any error message in its entirety. You can left click on it to highlight then right click to copy and then paste in this thread.

  • Installed windows 7 and windows live mail. now I want to import my messages from windows mail, and they will not matter. I really need the messages because they have a lot of important information in them.

Would be really happy for any help.  The application tells me that they have been moved to the storage area, but they are not there.

    Help.

Is your username mentioned in the tab security for storage files and all subfolders, and has 'full control '?

If these files are really empty then the transfer/import routine failed for some unknown (to me) reason.

Have you tried to copy all old messages from the Windows.old folder, put in a file in your user name for example Documents and then import from there?   It is perhaps necessary to remove to another location in the current storage folder in Windows Live Mail rather than simply delete before rerunning the import program.

Have you tried to temporarily disable your anti program virus and other security programs to see if that blocks emails appear?

Try running ChkDsk to check your drive for errors. Right click on your drive icon / properties / tools / error checking.  First try checking not be (read-only) to see if it reports any problems file or hard drive.  If this is the case, start by checking the two boxes, in no other rerun.

  • Message from Windows Code 43 for Intel(r) Active Management Technology - GROUND (COM5)

    Hello

I use a Compaq HP 6200 Pro SFF PC with Windows 7Pro, SP 1.

With this update of the weeks, I noticed that Windows tried to make the pilot also updates.

When I first checked the Device Manager, it was (and still is) a yellow question mark on Intel(r) Active Management Technology - GROUND (COM) in the category, the Ports (COM & LPT).

A few days earlier, I realized there is a problem and when I checked the Device Manager, it is the GROUND (COM 4). Which finally solved and disappeared some time after I disabled the driver under properties.

Yesterday, it was the GROUND (COM 6), which I disabled it after seeing the message that "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems... »

Who has disappeared and today is the GROUND (COM 5) with the same "Windows stopped of...» (Code 43). »

I would try to understand/learn what is happening here. Can someone give me a simple explanation? Do I need to worry?

The only points negative I noticed, was earlier in the week, I couldn't view some pages when surfing the web. I searched the site, microsoftstore.com and could not go beyond a few pages without falling on a white page with an error message.

Also, when I logged on WindowsLive in settings, my Windows phone not had not been "situated" for more than a few days.

Thank you very much for any information,

    mtnbeebalm

    Hello Mtnbeebalm,

Thanks for posting your question on the Microsoft community.

I would like to know some information about the problem so that we can help you better.

Have you made any recent hardware or software on your computer changes?

Thank you for details on the question and your efforts to resolve.

This problem may occur because of corrupted device drivers.

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:
Run the hardware and devices Troubleshooter and check.
    Reference:
Open the hardware and devices Troubleshooter
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-hardware-and-devices-Troubleshooter

If this does not help, use method 2.

    Method 2:
Update the drivers for the chipset of your computer from this link and check.

I don't use any anti-virus or anti-spyware, except Windows Defender.

I suspect that you see the effects of a hijackware infection. Since you have no applications installed virus protection (and, I suppose, you have not installed in Windows XP is), my recommendation is the following:

Backup of personal data (which none should be considered 100% reliable at this point) then do a format and clean install of Windows XP.  (Because you upgraded from Windows XP to Win7, you can not do a clean install of Win7.) Please note that a repair installation (upgrade AKA on-site) won't fix this!

Once installed the clean, you will have the equivalent of a "new computer" in order to take care of everything on the next page before connecting the machine to the internet or a network otherwise and before using a USB key that is not brand new, or has not been freshly formatted:

  • Import e-mail messages from Windows mail to outlook 2007

I damaged an old laptop and the hard drive is now in a case that I can access via USB.

I want to transfer my emails from WIndows Mail in the old hard drive to Outlook 2007 into my laptop current. How to do this please?

    Hi Tony,.

You can always open Windows mail? In this case: the open, select the e-mail messages you want to copy, create a folder on a USB or other portable device, paste messages, transport the unit, open, select all the messages and copy it (ctrl + c), then paste in Outlook.

The official way would be: file, import and Export Wizard. But I'm sure you will all future posts.
