  Voice chat is not the Blackberry mail application.

  You must select the mail application from Blackberry on the screen of the handset applications.

I double checked that the software is not on my phone by going to Options > Advanced > Applications and the Flickr isn't here. HOWEVER... the stupid icon is still on my screen and I can't get it off. I tried select the icon, and then check the options, but it does not allow a 'delete '. Then. Anyone know how to get rid of this garbage on my phone?

  Your BB OS is outdated... you need to update... the current version is 5.0.0.1036. Here's what I recommend... Since you are on MAC, which makes it a bit more difficult that the sets of tools to deal with things are much more limited on MAC:

  (1) properly uninstall the RIM desktop software:

  • KB18771 Install and uninstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software on a Mac computer

  (2) obtain a new download of the RIM Desktop software:

  (3) install the software on your MAC Desktop

  (4) now run the Desktop software, connect your BB when prompted and perform a clean reload of your BB OS, choose the most recent version that it offers (if all goes well, 5.0.0.1036):

  BBM - which is currently the most recent. You can always check your AppWorld > MyWorld > upgrades, or from your browser go to www.blackberry.com/appworld to see if there is an improved version.

  OS - connect to PC > and run the BlackBerry Desktop Software. Will inform you of any upgrade of the OS when connecting.
