• ESX 3.5 on a 460c and NIC QUAD blade

  I ordered a HP blade 460c form my c7000 enclosure.  It has double hearts procs, 32 GB of RAM, a lot of drive (SAN storage).  I t has 2 onboard NICs and I ordered a QUAD Core NIC as well.  I know it's better to have as many cards as possible for management and redundancy.  My question is, if all NETWORK cards come out of the background through the same connection don't always creating a potential bottle neck?

  In a bladecenter all NICs will not from the same module ESM in the background.

  Besides you NIC onboard, all of them are connected to another module ESM in the background.

  Having said that if you are plannig for multiple NICs in a blade you first enusre you have enough Modules ESM in the center of the blade.  Your requiremnt you must have 4 modules of environmentally sound management, I'm sure you will need 2fc module since you are reliant on SAN to your storage needs.

  So first check your blade Center has enough ESM and then order your 4 port NIC accordingly.

  Peek below of my installation, I have 4 NICs by blade, 2 addon onboard and 2 and 2 HBAS for connectivity of the CF.

  NIC Ebmedded are connected to Bay 1 and 2, both of them are modules of the ESM, Mezzanine Slot 1 is a device connected to the Bay 3 and 4 FC, who are CF module, finally Mezzanine Slot 2 is connected to the Bay 5 and 6, once again, these are environmentally sound for the 2 network cards management modules additional I use by each blade in my Center of blade.

  Then Ive met this weird problem with my mac. While I was using the Mac at work for like 4 hours without interruption and then when it was time to go home, I just put the screen down and put the Mac to sleep. When I opened the Mac at home, he started with 3 beeps and it wouldn't start.

  After having panic for like half an hour, so I decided to take google on this issue. I found many queries, but nothing like mine. So I opened the back panel of the Macbook, deleted the two Rams and re-sitting (like one of the posts on google said to do) twice but it still did not work. I took off the piston down and tried to turn on a single cylinder high and it worked.

  A bit of history, Apple had this quality control program where all 2011 Macbook pros affected by a defective video card can have their logic boards changed for free by taking it to apple. My macbook was one of them and apple genius guys changed the logic board. Long and behold, after six months the lower slot of Bank ram has stopped working. My question is, can I use the Apple since its only six months, and if I order a new Board of the logic on their part, what are the chances that this will not happen?

  Any past experiences you guys could share to help me would be greatly appreciated.

  A good fortuneteller adventure can answer this one!  FWIW, I had mine replaced guarantee also that extended repair program had expired for FREE3 or 4 years ago.  My MBP 2008 is till going strong.

  Just to make sure I understand correctly, you tried to load your iPhone after getting a little water near the cargo but the lightning cable is more able to fit into the slot.  It is important to be able to plug the adapter to load so that you can use your iPhone without the battery dying.

  If you are able to get the cable, then take a look at this article for steps to do if it does not charge:

  For best performance Mac need pairs of corresponding RAM modules, swap or buy more is recommended all things being equal. I would however expect sentencing of incompatibility performance much smaller than the benefit of the upgrade beyond 4 GB, so you could run with 8 GB in a slot and the original 2 GB in one for 10 GB total installed.

  It depends on what iMac you have. Some older models may not recognize 8 GB of memory chips.
