Microsoft Update Web site are asked to download something? Now my fully paid version and the trial CD are completely blocked.

Hello
On one of my pc's I had two versions of Windows XP Pro my fully paid version and a version of 120 day trial CD that came with my new paid for Microsoft Training Kit book #2. I was using on my virtual machine to remove malware and viruses practice on Windows XP without infecting my host pc. The problem is I was infecting the virtual machine with some real nasty virus on average 20 virus samples per day. After getting a viruse lock Em all the bad guys, a relocation was my only option. I never came close with a 10 days of my free trial. Then, your stupid Update site wanted to download something? Then my fully paid version is no longer me lock out of my pc? Funny as. Looks like Microsoft has done something to my fully released version to stop it running? I have six pc and began to change their everywhere for Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid. I'd rather give up my Windows operating system to be manipulated and held hostage by Microsoft.
These six will be the last Windows OS that will use or buy.
I hope you see that your strong attitude to a dying OS will cost a lot of customers. I installed Ubuntu on all the PCs I've fixed since you me locked out of my machine. My clients will be bow not down to you and nor will I.

Then restarted and would not even load Windows XP host as he stopped on my keyboard, my mouse and numbers. It was right after the download and execution of what is from Microsoft Update Web site.

As previously stated, more details needed. You can see the desktop? Is it just that your devices (mouse, keyboard) do not work?

You can also try to start safe mode to see if it works. Restart your computer, press the F8 key before the Windows logo appears and select Safe Mode from the list.

  • Update version and the trial of LR3

I currently have LR3 and you bought the physical disks for version 4. Are there problems with downloading the trial version and it helps until the disks arrive?

As others have said, you should really drives at all. Just the serial number of the packaging.

The software on the discs is probably over now anyway so the first thing you'd have to do is update to the Adobe Web site anyway.

That's why a lot of people just download the trial and who activate with a serial number.

Do an extra step and register your software with Adobe when you enter your serial number so that you can retrieve your serial number at any time in the future.
