  I recently formatted my notebook compaq presario v3749au without the recovery disks, because my cd drive does not work. When I saw in the Device Manager, it says that 'sm bus controller, coprocessor and base system device' drivers are missing. I don't know where to put them because these drivers are not available on the hp site. so kindly respond if anyone knows how to find the solution.

• Missing coprocessor of HP Pavilion dv2715nr after installing Wind 7

  OK, I recently installed Windows 7, duty suit install since I couldn't do an upgrade. most of the time, everything works well except that my 'coprocessor' is missing. I don't know what that means, coprocessor for what?

  so far, there are two things that do not work on my laptop: scrolling option on the side of my touchpad, although the touchpad itself still works, several buttons on my remote, and the dvd and quickplay touch buttons that are found through the laptop speakers. The coprocessor is connected to these issues? I don't know what I have to install though, and even if this installation is compatible.

  any help would be wonderful. Thank you guys!

• Pavilion tx 1000 missing coprocessor driver

  Ive no idea what driver it is. Nothing in the downloads mentions coprocessor driver. And, when I google, it came with a nvidia nforce system management driver. I don't know if it's right, but I still cant find in the drivers section so I came here to beg the gods pilot that they could send me a sign.

• Driver missing in Windows 7 RTM TX2000 coprocessor

  I installed Windows 7 RTM on my HP TX2000 and everything went well, except for a missing 'coprocessor' driver. I did a little research and found several posts that seem to indicate that I need to install one of the Vista 64 drivers manually. I downloaded, extracted, then tried each sets pilot but Device Manager reports it found no compatible driver.

  Is there a new driver for Windows 7? Is there another driver, I can use?

• Coprocessor driver missing HPG6062ea

  So, I have a HP G6062EA, which came with Windows Vista 64-bit.

  It was great to work (except that I need to replace the battery, so its plugged in at all times) until I added a new hard drive and install a fresh copy of Vista 64 bit on it. It now runs reallly slow, like REALLY SLOW and says that it can't find the coprocessor driver despite downloading it from the HP support Site.

  I have now upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit and I have the same problem. I installed SlimDriver and it detected a coprocessor driver was missing and installed it but it still does not work fast and instead of the coprocessor missing in the device driver settings, it says an unknown device.

  Original operating system was Vista.  Then uped to 8.1, worked great, although missing some programs.  Windows 10 resulted in a very poor video playback.  Tried to goback to 8.1, did not work.  Hard disk formatted, installed then 8.1 full version.  Now missing driver coprocessor.   When you see a coprocessor device, this means that your notebook is the processor amd and nvidia chipset.

  Install the chipset nForce Vista driver and you should be ready.  You may need to install manually if auto installation does not work.

  I don't see the correct chipset for any model dv2700 pilot, so use this one from a dv6700...

  Take a reading this post by Member Daniel_Potyrala. Read the latest pages for locations of tutorial and driver.
