Monitor arms MSA14 - setting?

Just spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to tech support to help set this monitor and I was disconnected.  I don't know where or how you adjust the weight for the arm goes down, as shown in the diagram.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I just got one of the arms of dell and I was puzzled, too, because the manual show an adjustment screw that I coudnt find it in the arm. The thing is, you must install the screen first, with the outstretched arm the way he came, and then force it back down. It will be a little difficult, but it will go down. Then, you will be able to see the setting of the screw on the top of the joint of the arm. After that, use the alllen tool to adjust the arm. It will be very easy to adjust the height after that.

Hope this helps anyone with the same problem.

Hi all - I bought the E2416H monitor and the monitor arm (Dell single monitor arm MSA14 s & P).  VESA connectors are not aligned with each other.  I can just connect them!  They are about 1 mm.  Please see attached picture.  I added the red lines to show how the holes are out of alignment with the poles.  Sounds good?  Thank you all.

Something was not correctly made. The area included an additional adapter VESA plate seen at 50 in the video? If so, you should try to configure it to mount it.

    Hello.

I was checking the support site for your monitor:

Consulted the manual, it shows the 4 screw holes there. But I'm not sure of the arm, the model showed it shows only the stand.

Here are the specifications of your monitor LCD HP s2031's. This monitor has DVI - D (digital) and inputs (analog) VGA. Here's the Cintiq21UX user manual. According to the user manual, the Cintiq21UX has a DVI - I cable seal and comes with a DVI - D adapter cable and a VGA adapter cable.

Given that both monitors support DVI - D and VGA and the computer supports the DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI - D and VGA (via an adapter DVI / VGA), there are a number of ways to connect to the computer for the monitors. For better clarity of video output, you must connect a monitor (my suggestion is the Cintiq21UX) using the other monitor (HP S2031) using an HDMI-DVI and DVI adapter / cable or a DisplayPort-DVI adapter/cable.

  • Unable to mount HP2709m monitor on a monitor arm

I spent > 4 hours on the phone with non-existent HP 'technical support', trying to solve a problem with a monitor we just bought.  The monitor HP 2709 m 27 "is SUPPOSED to conform to install it on a VESA arm.  SUPPOSEDLY, when we remove the rear plastic cover, we should find the square 4 typical holes machine threaded holes, spaced 100 mm, in which the 4 screws are placed to hold a VESA stand.  UNFORTUNATELY, this is NOT the case.  When you remove the cover, everything you find is a series of niches in which will the tabs on the cover plastic.  There is NO mounting hole to fix a support.   No matter HOW many times I talk to technical support overseas, I can't understand/accept that the documentation they have as much as me and they continue to refer to is WRONG.  All I need is a technician to contact me, so we can determine what equipment IS needed to mount the monitor on an arm, or directly on the wall.  Has ANYONE dealt with the 2709 mounting on an arm or on the wall?

for anyone who's problems with this mounting monitor.  I don't know if HP has changed the documentation, but at least now, she says that this monitor uses a mount for vesa 100 x 200 mm.  This is not the standard mount found on smaller screens, but a wider lying mount to organize the largest monitors.

It is a support for mounting the monitor directly on the wall at the http://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Monitor-Panel-200x100-100x100mm/dp/B000ODCSWG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1342534635&sr=8-2&keywords=vesa+200+x+100+wall+mount amazon.adfasdf

If you use a dual monitor, (SUI) window is displayed on the main screen.

How to get location of InDesign?

app.activeWindow.bounds will give you the coordinates of the window further in Indesign. $.screens will give you information on the displays. You can use these two properties to deduce the position of indesign.

  • MSA14 install in the eye?

(Only a pictorial) manual does not show how to install the MSA14 in a Carnation. What is this procedure?

Dell.com product description: "monitor arm can be mounted on the back side or slot (Carnation 2.4 standard inches) on the desktop."

Not finding any documentation or help, I solved it on my own, even for a Carnation, slightly less than 2 inches in diameter.

After studying the extension down under the base plate, I got just a piece of plastic held in place by 3 screws. (This piece would be were left in place for a hole "2.4 inch".) Then I inserted the extension by my eye, starting at the top of the desktop, and it fits perfectly but perfectly. I proceeded to a normal installation of the big screw that snugs to the bottom of the desktop. Then I put in place the plastic piece, also under the level of the office, which is not necessary, but provides some useful cables path under the desk. In this position, only two of the three small screws could be in shape, but it was enough.

The product design also left room for my cable to be run by the Carnation in a ditch next to the rear edge of the base. If you are smart, you will have to route these lines VGA/HDMI, and cord power supply and optional audio cables (for a monitor with speakers) before you drag the base into the hole and you will not have to reboot.

  • Satellite Pro U400 - How can I get the native screen resolution for external monitor?

I have a samsung syncmaster external screen connected to a Satellite Pro U400.

The resolution of the screen goes up to 1280 etc. but the minimum samsung is 1440 x 920 (ish I forgot).
How can I get the samsung to display full screen expanded to save my eyes of the realativively small screen internal?

    Hello!

Have you tried to update the display on your laptop driver? Check the Toshiba site for an update:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

In addition, it would be interesting to know if you are running the factory settings or you have installed your own version of Windows?
And what operating system are you using? Have you installed all Windows updates?

For external LCD, monitors, you must set the screen refresh rate of 60 Hz.
And if you want to change the resolution of the screen, you must select the second monitor in the graphics options on Windows.

I have some trouble getting the extended screen (2) to be positioned on the left side of my laptop A660:

I have my new Toshiba (thanks to his monitor, call Lap1) set to the right of my big external flat screen (Ext2).

In the nVidia control panel, I have the options like in the screenshot, that allows the Ext2 sit to the right of the Lap1, which means that my mouse goes to the Ext2 on the other side (the right side) of the monitor Lap1...

Either way, I just updgraded all display drivers and BIOS but with no solution to the problem.

Thank you very much in advance for all help/tips.

    Hi mate,

my suggestion is to reduce the resolution for the external montor. Maybe you have the problem that the resolution and frequency h/v is not defined as it should be.

When starting your laptop, then let the disconnected monitor. When the machine is running, then connect the monitor to the machine (it s OK, it s not dangerous or something) and then go into the control panel for the graphics card. There you can set the options for internal and external monitor.

Set the minimum resolution for the outside and try to activate him. It should work normally...

Please tell me, what kind of machine do you have? You need to give more information, so maybe other people with the same machine can help you.

    Welcome them

  • 10.11.2 monitor insignia HDMI problem

My insignia TV/monitor HDMI that I use for my secondary screen worked perfectly until I upgraded to El Capitan (Betas and now 10.11.2).

Setup: TV/monitor has two HDMI connections. Input HDMI1 is the VCR to the TV. HDMI2 comes the MacPro on television.

Problem: If I switch the input on the TV screen between the two sources (decoder on the HDMI input), the MacPro does not recognize/initialize the monitor/TV.

The only solution is to get the MacPro to see that the monitor shall ensure that the monitor/TV is set to HDMI2 and restart the MacPro and then it works fine. Until I pass the entries still of course.
