Unable to mount HP2709m monitor on a monitor arm

I spent > 4 hours on the phone with non-existent HP 'technical support', trying to solve a problem with a monitor we just bought.  The monitor HP 2709 m 27 "is SUPPOSED to conform to install it on a VESA arm.  SUPPOSEDLY, when we remove the rear plastic cover, we should find the square 4 typical holes machine threaded holes, spaced 100 mm, in which the 4 screws are placed to hold a VESA stand.  UNFORTUNATELY, this is NOT the case.  When you remove the cover, everything you find is a series of niches in which will the tabs on the cover plastic.  There is NO mounting hole to fix a support.   No matter HOW many times I talk to technical support overseas, I can't understand/accept that the documentation they have as much as me and they continue to refer to is WRONG.  All I need is a technician to contact me, so we can determine what equipment IS needed to mount the monitor on an arm, or directly on the wall.  Has ANYONE dealt with the 2709 mounting on an arm or on the wall?

for anyone who's problems with this mounting monitor.  I don't know if HP has changed the documentation, but at least now, she says that this monitor uses a mount for vesa 100 x 200 mm.  This is not the standard mount found on smaller screens, but a wider lying mount to organize the largest monitors.

It is a support for mounting the monitor directly on the wall at the http://www.amazon.com/VideoSecu-Monitor-Panel-200x100-100x100mm/dp/B000ODCSWG/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1342534635&sr=8-2&keywords=vesa+200+x+100+wall+mount amazon.adfasdf

It is also fairly easy to do, if you had the time and the ability to do it with a metal plate, a drill, some stand, and a few bolts. (this is the option I will use)

I have a server windows Hyperic Enterprise Version 3.0.3 and if I click on the dashboard, the Assembly resource file server, I see it as a green ball, local NTFS file systems, but the remote file systems have a gray ball. I see this on the server as well as on the windows client EA servers.
If I try to conifure the disk, he says it is NOT installed or not configured correctly.  Since
client and server hyperic windows run as root, I thought I could have access to the entire disk.
Can monitor hyperic actions or remote windows file systems?  Maybe it's the account that installed the hyperic has a server share file system remote z:\, but my root account
I use to access the EE hyperic server does not work?

When you install the Windows agent as a service, it begins in place and works using the default SYSTEM account. This account has full administrative rights to monitor most of the things on the local computer, but will not be able to connect to remote shares on the network. The account used to install the software has no impact at this stage. In addition, the agent, not by the server permissions, are what effect the possibility of access to the remote network share.

If you want to monitor your network shares using the agent on this box and not on the server that actually hosts the network share, you can change the agent service through the Services Control Panel:

    1. go to start-> Control Panel-> administration-> Services tools

    2. find the "HQ Agent" service and double-click (or right-click and select properties)

    3. on the connection tab, select it "this account:" radio button, and then enter a valid network user account information, as well as his password

    4. click on apply or OK to apply the change takes effect

5 restart the service "Agent HQ"

Keep in mind, no matter what you are using an account must have permissions to gather information of the local area, as well as the permission to connect to the remote network share.

  • E2416H fall more into the monitor arm (VESA)

Hi all - I bought the E2416H monitor and the monitor arm (Dell single monitor arm MSA14 s & P).  VESA connectors are not aligned with each other.  I can just connect them!  They are about 1 mm.  Please see attached picture.  I added the red lines to show how the holes are out of alignment with the poles.  Sounds good?  Thank you all.

Something was not correctly made. The area included an additional adapter VESA plate seen at 50 in the video? If so, you should try to configure it to mount it.

    Hello

When you try to add my NFS in VSphere (version 1), I get the following error at the end:

To add the NFS, I did the following:

1 created VMKernel (entered a static IP, subnet mask, default gateway address, enabled checkbox Vmotion) on the same vSwitch as Service Console

    2. click on add storage - NFS

    3. Enter the IP address of the server, a folder, I created on the NFS (/ etc/vmware) and gives him a name of random data store (TESTNFS).

    4. click on finish

Next, I get the above error.

Hi, I recently brought a pro Onelink dock for my carbon X 1 so I can connect to my Acer XB270HU monitor when I'm at my desk. But when I try to connect using the Displayport on the platform I'm unable to connect and windows seem to be unabe to see Webs. I tried 3 different cables and the thing came. I am able to connect to the other monitors using DVI from the dock of Onelink simply not Displayport.

Well, I noticed there was a new drivers and firmware for the dock relesed recently so I thought I'd give this proplem another shot.

I can now confirm that with the v2.30.00 of v11015 and the firmware of the driver everything works perfectly.

  • Tecra 9100: Unable to connect external monitor to the APR III Plus via DVI

    Hello
I have a laptop Tecra 9100 that I try to use with an Advanced Port Replicator III (APR3 +) to connect to an LCD flat screen widescreen Dell via the DVI connector, but so far without success.

All other connections on the APR3 + operate without problem, the monitor stir however not until Windows finishes loading, how it shows a totally white screen with black bars very close down vertically.
I upgraded to the latest version of the BIOS and tested all the cables, but in vain. I also carefully searched from Toshiba Web site, but the only document which deals with taken ports supported on the APR3 + I can find does not list my laptop model at all.

Please can you tell me if this mode of operation is supported and if it is how to enable it?
Alternatively, if it is not supported, could I use a VGA - DVI cable to connect the APR3 + LCD flat screen?

    Concerning
    Ross.

    Hello

I see that you have updated the BIOS. I think that it was not a bad idea, but you also need to check if you have installed the latest version of TOSHIBA Mobile Extension 3.
I don't know if that helps, but please check.

How to check the current version of TOSHIBA Mobile Extension 3
-Select Control Panel in the start menu.
S ' please click on ' Add / Remove Programs "from the control panel.
-TOSHIBA Mobile Extension 3 for Windows XP V3.xx.xx.XP"appears in the list of software to ' Add or Remove Programs".
-If the current version of TOSHIBA Mobile Extension 3 installed on your computer is V3.19.00.XP or more, please upgrade to the new version V3.21.00.XP.

How to upgrade the TOSHIBA Mobile Extension 3 to version V3.21.00.XP
-Uninstall the current version of TOSHIBA Mobile extension 3
    -Restart the computer.
-Download the new version, unzip it by running, and run "Setup.exe" from the compressed file.

I was checking the support site for your monitor:

  • Monitor arms MSA14 - setting?

Just spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to tech support to help set this monitor and I was disconnected.  I don't know where or how you adjust the weight for the arm goes down, as shown in the diagram.  Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

I just got one of the arms of dell and I was puzzled, too, because the manual show an adjustment screw that I coudnt find it in the arm. The thing is, you must install the screen first, with the outstretched arm the way he came, and then force it back down. It will be a little difficult, but it will go down. Then, you will be able to see the setting of the screw on the top of the joint of the arm. After that, use the alllen tool to adjust the arm. It will be very easy to adjust the height after that.

Hope this helps anyone with the same problem.
