Monitor dell U2412M will work on HP Envy 700-230qe

I buy a HP ENVY 700-230qe, my current dell monitor will work smoothly with the installed graphics GeForce GTX 645 card?

Bama11, welcome to the forum.

After reviewing the specifications of the computer and the monitor, I see no reason why the monitor does not work very well.  I suggest to update the software and the driver to the latest version for the monitor and video card.  I have a suggestion, if you have not ordered the compupter buy 600W power supply (PSU).  It will be better food for the video card and the future updates.

I would be grateful is we would give you an update when you buy the computer.

  • Out of memory when rendering a video file (Win 8.1; HP Envy 700-230qe)

Make a video of 4 minutes (with several video tracks) using Sony Vegas Pro13, guard stopping about 70-80% completion - saying there is little memory.

How what might happen on a HP Envy 700-230qe with 32 GB memory DDR3?

I look in Task Manager: the memory of "Commited" continues to increase during rendering until it hits the full number (36 GB in my case) and then the memory is exhausted, which stops to make.

  • HP ENVY 700-230qe CTO desktop PC

Hello, I want to use 5 TB hard drive as boot drive (C:\) with partition type GPT for Windows 10 x 64 Pro, but provided BIOS does not allow me to load windows on DISK of Type GPT even if I start this desktop in UEFI mode computer.

Can someone please tell me how to load Windows 10 X 64 Pro type GPT hard drive from zero (New Installation)?  My PC BIOS system is 6/2013 and I don't see any more recent BIOS with the necessary fix...!

    Thank you

    Hello Riddle,

Thank you very much for your prompt and quick response here.  Sorry for reply late bit by me.

Here what I did to resolve this unique problem of landmines.  After spending hours searching online, finally, I've been succssful for windows 5 TB GPT HD 10

    (1) started the desktop computer HP Envy 700-230qe CTO in Legacy BIOS and 5 to as MBR format (only 2 TB has been recognized in the MBR, FYI)... and loaded Windows Pro x 64 using Windows DVD 10 (under Legacy BIOS, I was able to get the key USB and USB CD/DVD bootable options, which are not there to Boot UEFI.)

    (2) after successful installation of Windows 10, I used AMOEI Partition Wizard and converted my HD MBR of HD Type GPT, and fortunately I have is not losing any data system or windows and then shut down the PC

    (3) changed Legacy UEFI BIOS, restarted the PC and luckinly this time, converted GPT HD recognized with WIndows installed 10, and PC has started after a few minutes of setting.

    (4) once, I was in environment WIndows 10, I was able to use the rest 3 TB of space as another partition I formatted using Standard Windows disk management.  Am so happy that I could find practical solution so that I am able to use fully 5 TB with Secure Boot to increase the security of my PC.

    Thank you

  • (Redirected) Monitor DELL U2412M - light problems

    Hello

I just bought a DELL U2412M monitor, but have problems with its brightness settings. I found extremely bright, can't spend too much time in front of him without having headaches, at the present time, this monitor is useless for me. If I decrease the brightness of the Panel, it helps a little, but only if the brightness is of ~ 10, which is too low to produce a screen the user can enjoy. Do you have any suggestions?

    Thank you

  • Nine (3 days out of the Box) HP Envy 700-230qe automatically restarts after the initial boot...

I have now a whole new desktop 700-230qe HP Envy (after about a month in the loop of the HP Technical Support).  But again, I have problems.  I took late delivery December 23, 2013.  After giving him enough time to become the temperature of the room, I opened the box and replaced my old HP Pavilion h8 - 1210t with envy again desktop computer.

Took my time and made sure that everything is properly connected - then pushed the power button.  Everything seemed to work perfectly - until what the brand 20 minutes - when the system powered off and rebooted itself.  But for the rest of the session, everything went well - no problem.  It was Monday night.

On Tuesday morning (December 24, 2013 - on Christmas Eve), I pushed the power button once again and the system started fine.  But 20 minutes later, it turned off and rebooted itself.  But for the rest of the day everything went well - even if I had to make several reboots all reinstall my applications and migrate my data.  I started to wonder if I still had problems.

Christmas day (December 25, 2013) is the same thing.

And once again on Thursday (December 26, 2013) - I finally called HP Technical Support.  I spoke with a gentleman (Terrence) - he accessed remotely my system which makes me nervous (but these guys of Nova Scotia are very good and are savvy customers.  He looked around - ran MalWareBytes and CCleaner - and said that he saw nothing thaat would be a problem.  We agreed to wait a day and see what would happen.

Rolled Friday autour and you'd know it's the same thing.  Then, I called HP Tech Support and spoke to a lady (Norma) who, after having read the file of description of situation and asking me my name, phone number, email address (which they ask you every time you call - you would think they write this stuff and keep it on file), she immediately decided that the best thing to do is to 'Recreate the IMAGE' on my drive - to which I replied 'NO WAY '.  This seems to be the standard response, if they can't fgure out - recreate the image on your disk.  They don't seem to care about all the work you put into the construction of our system with applications with associated and all data - they want to just Blow-It-Away.

It made me so angry that I have immeddiately contacted my case manager company HP with the history.  These people - business - case do an excellent job, at least the one I did a great job.  And I know she'll get to the bottom of this situation and go to a happy camper.

Anyway, if anyone has the same problems with their machine - I'd be interested.

    Kind regards

    Garth

I did not read all the answers, but what my qestion... Why are you screwing around? HP has a 21-day return policy, so you can ask them to replace it with the same model or another model as they will send you a FEdEx shipping for a full refund or Exchange label. I wouldn't waste my time with a question like this on a new computer.

  • HP Envy 700-230qe desktop PC

I bought the computer of the object at the end of December and received my PC shipped in just one week from when he was ordered to hp.com.  Good.  Bravo for delivery before the date of your promise!

I had problems when I turned it on. Then on the phone for 2 hours with a tech and slept inside the case, we determined that the cables have reached the fan on the video card, causing bad noise, I had to start.  So far so good.

Motherboard failed after the installation and activation of the software.  Tech was helpful, but he had me open the case and spend a few hours of trouble shooting, pulling RAM, HDD cables, resettlement, etc..  Specific motherboard failed and warranty issues began.  Stuff with new material of this complexity can occur.  I understand. Congratulations to your tech team to work with me and help me help them.  It's good to get the issues resolved quickly.

They told me it would take 2 weeks to fix computer (including shipping costs).  Because I needed a computer earlier, I determined that it would be easier to computer same reorganization and RME' former g.  So far so good.

What nobody told me - it will take 23 Jan (20 days) for HP rebuild then 2 days more delivery - to get it to me. It is roughly 15 days longer than the first time to build for the new client!  The best approach from their point of view has been completely buy a new one, and then have it refunded once you receive.  NO GO you already have nearly 1300 dollars of my mony - then it would still not built until January 16 (11 days)!

You all need to get your act together.  This is my 8th HP computer. My whole family uses. Generally, we were happy with the the customer service and the quality of HP products.  But I'm getting a bitter taste on HP now after that!  I would like someone of senior management at HP inform on this type of treatment (without fault the tech guy and the sales representatives who do their job) by the company of your guests.  You sent me a defective product. You should do it right as quickly as possible.  Keeps me a loyal customer.

I work in a place of high use computer.  I'm having a hard time to recommend HP to the people who buy after the experience of this kind - unless you can get your act together.  I have dealt with other companies in the past. I am happy, they went out of business - as their technical support and customer service was bad and they used bad quality products.

The customer service is very important to you. Please let me know how I can speak with someone at HP management on this issue.  This isn't the type of treatment that will get the business for you.

    Thank you

See if installing the audio driver IDT W10 solves the problem.  Install and reboot the PC.

This package provides the Tempo IDT High Definition Audio Driver for assumption of office models that are running a supported operating system.

  • What graphics card will work with my Dell U2711 to 2560 x 1440?

I just bought a Dell U2711 monitor I want to use with Photoshop at its native resolution of 2560 x 1440. I also have a Dell E2311H to use dual monitor with it in a configuration.

The monitors are connected to a card mother with an integrated video chipset ATi Radeon 4200 with DVI - D and regular 15-pin output video under AMD Gigabyte MA785GM.

However, the 4200 chipset does not seem to support the resolution 2560 x 1440 Dell as all I get are blurry tinted color characters. The ClearType text gives me just blurry garbage.

I use the Dual-link cable that comes with the Dell U2711.

What cheap graphics cards will work for me with this arrangement of material?

Refresh rate is not important. I'm not a gamer.

This video card has two DVI and DP and 2560 x 1440 60 Hz will do.

  • Application of monitor Dell DDM with U2515H and U2412M dual screen setup and USB drive menu

    Hello

I have U2515H and U2412M independently connected with DP cable to GTX960 video card.

    Two questions;

    1.

I have the latest driver display and the last Application of monitor Dell DDM.  It detects U2515H OK but not U2412M.   necessary on the menu OSD is activated but still no go.    Is - this known issue?

    2.

Also with U2515H, curiously section USB tab energy on screen Menu (the one who press the button) is grayed out.  Can not choose how the power of USB hub behave when the screen goes into sleep mode?    What cause this menu to be grayed out?    Factory reset has no effect on this menu item.

Be aware that U2515H has been replaced by Dell last Friday with monitor construction January because the one originally, I got a defect on the bezel mounting, but this USB menu was selectable.   It was built in April/205.

    Thanks for the research.

(Updated the model type edition only)

There is no U2414M. Do you mean the U2412M? If so, the U2412M is not supported. It was an error in the web. DDM requires a year of Dell 2013 model year or newer.

There is no U25125H or U2525H. Do you mean the U2515H? From the U2515H Manual page 41 =
    USB
Allows you to enable or disable the USB function standby monitor.

NOTE: USB power standby mode is available only when the USB upstream cable is disconnected. This option will be grayed out when the USB cable upstream traffic in.
