Monitor HP Pavilion 2009v - no sound!

Hello

I'm not all the sounds of my HP 2009v, supposed to have speakers 2w.

Downlloaded the driver rebooted 2.0.0, tried to set up the speakers, but they seem not - only my Dell laptop (Dell vostro 1015 with home premium windows 7 32) available built-in speakers.

Suggestions as to how to get the sound on (it is 100% on the monitor settings...)

Thank you

J

OK, tell me that I could do before posting...
After many women farmers and checking of all kinds of settings and several positions, I finally discovered that the VGA cables are not audio... ignorance is available in several packages, which looks like to me, I therefore now respond to my request and will accept as answered by myself!

The sound on my laptop works fine until I connect it via HDMI to a monitor HP Pavilion 24xw.  Then the sound disappears.  If I disconnect it, the sound comes back.

I tried to go to the 'Sound' of the control panel section.  There are two options:

    Realtek High Definition Audio speakers

    HP 24xw

The default value is Realtek speakers.  When I use the test installation my laptop plays the sound test.  I've updated to the latest version of the driver.

If anyone can help with why where the monitor audio disappears from my laptop?

    Thank you very much!

  • 25xw HP Pavilion monitor: monitor HP Pavilion 25xw - can't hear noise

I use this monitor with a laptop Dell XPS of 2013 running 10-64 bit windows.

When I attach the HP monitor via a HMDI cable, I get a picture of my screen laptop computer on the monitor-very well, but not sound. (not even laptop speakers when I select portable speakers under Sound/devices)

I checked his Windows/devices and it shows the monitor as a device in the sounds, but runs a 'test' on this subject gives no sound, even if the green bar will blink.

Is - this monitor has speakers?

    Thank you

    Hello

Well, I think that the very basic design: monitors need or speakers in order to make a sound. Unfortunately, the HP Pavilion 25xw monitor does NOT have a speaker:

  • Pavilion 1723w not sound

Need help with desktop Pavilion 1723w with HP ha17 monitor that recently has no sound.  Tried to plug in different set of speakers, still no sound.  Any ideas on how to solve the problem?

    C64, welcome to the forum.

Here is the original driver for the sound.  I propose to install to see if that helps.  Also, go to control panel / control to make sure that the audio device is the default value.

If this does not help, you must perform a full restore of the system.  After 7 years of use, installing and uninstalling programs can cause an accumulation of files without value.  These can beging to cause problems.

    Hello:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to:

    1. install the driver for the motherboard nvidia chipset in your model and restart.

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/30520/en-us

    2. install the latest Realtek HD audio driver from the link below.

  • Black monitor HP Pavilion a6000

Last week my HP desktop computer would be turned off randomly when I was about it. I thought it had something to do with my RAM, so I doubled and unfortunately it still stop so I decided to take another look inside.

After another look I saw that my three fans have been severely defenseless and need cleaning but I had not any average or compressed air to do. It's then that I decided to do it with two pencils and 30 minutes later I was.

I reconnected everything to the computer, plugged the power on the monitor and turned on. The orange blue turned on monitor power button then turned. I could heard the sound of the recording of computer in Windows, but I couldn't see anything.

I rebooted everything and he did the same thing. I checked inside the computer and made sure I didn't knock something loose and it seemed to me that I don't have. Unfortunately the monitor has always the same thing, he has done it before. I followed many tutorials that http://h10010.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=bph04760&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&product=3376908.

Nothing seemed to work, and then I came here looking for help from the clever mind on this forum. Help, please

PS Sorry for my bad English

    EDIT:

Then I ran my computer with another monitor and cables and the screen is always black so the problem is internal. Somethins probably dislodged, but what...?

Can you give us the exact model please?

  • PC Pavilion laptop: no sound on Pavilion g6 after installing the new battery CMOS

I have a Pavilion g6z - 1 d 00 CTO Notebook PC, model A2F43AV number.  It came with Windows 7 Home Premium, and I upgraded the operating system to Windows 7 Pro (64 bit).

The problem is that I did not sound, either through headphones or the speakers even if the Volume is set at 55. I first noticed the audio problem after replacing the CMOS battery, as the laptop is 4 years old and he gave me intermittent wireless connectivity problems.  After installing the new battery CMOS, I noticed the wireless driver was missing and downloaded/installed.  Everything was fine except the audio.  Then I reset the BIOS but nothing there as the BIOS version is v.49, and it is the most recent.

I have also downloaded/installed the driver audio and rebooted the PC.  Still, there is no noise.

Finally, I have checked the audio drivers and the reporting system they work without any problem.

    What should I do next?

    Thanks, Terry

    @Terry57

    Thanks for the reply,

I was under the impression that these links would take you to guide step by step, however, it seems that they do not work,

However, I have provided details below:

To perform a hard reset on a computer equipped with a removable battery, follow these steps:

    1. Turn off the computer.

    2. Remove the computer from the docking station or port replicator.

    3. Disconnect all external devices from devices such as USB, external displays storage devices and printers.

    4. Disconnect the power adapter from the computer.

    5. Remove the battery from the compartment to batteries.

    6. Press and hold button power for about 15 seconds, remove any residual electric charge capacitors that protect memory.

    7. Insert the battery and plug the power adapter into the laptop, but do not connect peripheral devices.

    8. Press the power button to turn on the computer.

    9. If a boot menu appears, use the arrow keys to select start Windows normally and then press the Enter key.

    10. After you have reconnected each peripheral device, run Windows Update and HP Support Assistant to update all device drivers.

To perform a hard reset on a computer equipped with a sealed or non-removable battery, follow these steps:

    1. Turn off the computer.

    2. Remove the computer from the docking station or port replicator.

    3. Disconnect all external devices from devices such as USB, external displays storage devices and printers.

    4. Disconnect the power adapter from the computer.

To perform a system recovery, this link should work: click here

Keep me posted for any technical assistance,

    Kind regards

  • HP Pavilion 25xw: new monitor - Hp Pavilion 25xw

    Hello

You just bought a new HP Envy 750-129cb here in the Canada, and it is great... but one thing:

It came with a HP Pavilion 25xw - Moniotor

    (1) I do not think, but is the touchscreen monitor? It is not currently, but maybe I'm missing something?

    (2) it doesn't seem to be any built-in internal speakers - is this correct?

    Thank you very much.

It does not have built-in speakers. You're not missing something, this isn't a touchscreen

  • How to set the resolution of the Viewsonic VX2235wm monitor with Pavilion a420n desktop computer?

    1 HP Pavilion A420N

    2 Win XP

3 Control Panel-> display, does not have the optimal screen resolution, 1680 x 1050 at 60 Hz. The selections available only for a lower resolution without the proportions appropriate for this monitor and the screen image is severely distorted.

    4. installed latest version of the BIOS, video drivers, drivers latest installed monitor, the monitor is a Viewsonic VX2235WM

    Can someone help me out?

    Thank you

Here are the specifications of your HP a420n desktop and its card mother A7V8X - LA Kamet2-GL6E. The edge VIA Unichrome graphics adapter is old and does not support the extensions on the big screen. 800 x 600, 1024 x 768 and 1280 x 1024 resolutions are more likely that will support the computer, which are all the 4:3 aspect ratios. Based on the above specifications, I would say that after buying and installing a AGP 8 X / 4 X (1.5V) graphics card, your system must manage a 16:10 ratio width / Monitor wide screen without problem.

  • w2207h monitor and Pavilion dv6t

I have a new Pavilion dv6t Select laptop running WIndows 7 64 bit directly connected to a monitor in w2207h 22. It does not preserve the configuration of display resolution when I power it back up again.  Before he turned off had a resolution of 1680 x 1050 configuration, small icons, and other parameters, the first two being those that I am more interested in maintaining.

I used to have a laptop no HP on a docking station connected to this same screen, the old laptop had no problem to recognize the resolution that I put up on the screen.  In fact, all I had to do was power up and presto.

My new dv6t does not keep the display setting unless I do the following:

    (1) I opened the lid of the laptop and start it (if it is extended or not standby mode)

    (2) when he us operational, the monitor looks different (large icons, fuzzy fonts, lower resolution).

    (3) I use the F4 key to tell him that I have duplicate monitors.

    (4) the monitor then displays the appropriate resolution.

If I don't tell her to do with the F4 monitor rest at the wrong resolution (for example (for the larger icons, fuzzy fonts, a lower resolution).

I'm annnoyed enough I need to power my laptop by opening the cover when it is connected to the monitor, but now I have to do the extra step of the F4 to get the external screen is displayed correctly.

Any ideas as to why the monitor does not display the appropriate resolution when I turn?

    Thank you!

Yes.  It's good information. Thank you.

Try using the latest version of the ATI video driver.  Don't forget to create a system restore point before updating the pilot arrived that something goes wrong.

Look at the bottom of the laptop.  Do you see a sticky HP label with the model number?

  • Connect the second VGA monitor to Pavilion HPE

    Hello

I have a Pavilion HPE h8-1114 PC, that has a DVI and HDMI monitor port. I have a VGA monitor connected to the DVI port with an adapter. I have a second VGA monitor, I want to connect, but I understand that it cannot be connected to the HDMI port. Are there other options besides buying a HDMI monitor? Can I use one of the covered ports which I think is VGA? (I guess not.) Can I add a second graphics card with a VGA port and use both screens? (I saw on another post that adding another graphics card could disable the existing card). Can I opt for a card that supports two VGA or DVI ports?

    Thank you!

In addition what erico said, there are other options. You can use a video-to-USB adapter of EVGA UV plus + 19 or you can add a x 1 PCIe graphics card. If with a PCIe x 1, using a card Nvidia... results will be the best in this way.
