I have realtek 2009 and just updated for realtek H definition R 2.79

There is no update for ati radeon hd graphics card 3200

This computer is automatically all microsoft updates and I just checked all of the updates from HP.

1. are there internal speakers on this pc?  Monitor is HP 2009 m

2. because I had not seen a bit of luck, I connected 2 speakers and it seems they are ok, but all I get is a buzz.

So I know that something is wrong, because I can't even get sound on videos of e-mail.

Any help is appreciated - or I'm too outdated?

Thanks for the help, but the computer wouldn't let me click on the default button.

At least played with a lot of things on the computer and now I sound wonderful!  He gave me a little snap but who found the net on how to solve it.

I'm glad to have sound!  Now I can get my new dog in the basement to meet the cats while I watch a movie!

  • HP Pavilion a6750f: problem dual monitor (Second monitor not detected in DVI input)

Hello everyone, I'm going to by a problem of not being able to setp toward the top of my second monitor.

I own a HP Pavilion a6750f with an ATI Radeon HD 3200 card on board running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit operating system.  In the back, I have two VGA and DVI inputs, VGA works, but when I connect the other monitor which is connected to a DVI adapter on the back, Windows does not detect any.

I tried to go the DVI adapter to the other monitor and noticed that it refuses to work. I will note that my display drivers are all updated and I activated the option of customization to detect the second monitor, nothing shows up, it will not be the same acknolowdge that there are several screens.

I think it's weird that I don't see this problem being issued when I was searching for a resolution on google for hours now. If someone can help me here please I would be very happy.

Just to remind you try to connect a VGA (analog) monitor to a DVI - D (digital only) output on the computer. This is never going to work as analog and digital are two completely different incompatible signalling methods. With the help of an adapter DVI / VGA passive is the problem that these cards may work with DVI - I or DVI - A output... not DVI - D.

    Wikipedia - DVI;

"More digital, the DVI connector includes pins that carry an analog signal compatible with RGBHV signals in a VGA connector. This allows a VGA monitor be connected to a passive adapter and offers a universal solution for the DVI interface. The analog pins are the four that surround the apartment or cross the blade as shown on the right side of the diagrams below. »

    8 analog vertical sync

    C1 - analog Red
    C2 - analog Green
    C3 - blue analog
    C4 - analog horizontal sync
    C5 - analog ground

Note the absence of the pins on your computer and your so-called card C1, C2, C3 and C4. Without these pins is not just going to work. Still, there is no way to get an analog VGA monitor to work with your digital DVI - D only output using a so-called DVI - D to VGA. You may be able to buy an asset DVI - D to VGA Converter, but this will be expensive and cannot provide a poor video image quality.

As you said, the HP f1703 monitor supports only VGA. However, based on the specifications, your HP w2207h 22 inch LCD monitor supports the entry to a VGA and a HDMI input. HDMI and DVI - D share the same signage and using a HDMI-DVI cable or adapter HDMI-DVI and HDMI Cable will solve your problem. For two monitors running on your computer, please connect as follows:

Computer > HDMI-DVI cable or adapter HDMI-DVI and HDMI Cable > HP w2207h monitor

Computer > VGA cable > HP f1703 monitor

    Please send Bravo

  • PC Pavilion laptop: no sound on Pavilion g6 after installing the new battery CMOS

I have a Pavilion g6z - 1 d 00 CTO Notebook PC, model A2F43AV number.  It came with Windows 7 Home Premium, and I upgraded the operating system to Windows 7 Pro (64 bit).

The problem is that I did not sound, either through headphones or the speakers even if the Volume is set at 55. I first noticed the audio problem after replacing the CMOS battery, as the laptop is 4 years old and he gave me intermittent wireless connectivity problems.  After installing the new battery CMOS, I noticed the wireless driver was missing and downloaded/installed.  Everything was fine except the audio.  Then I reset the BIOS but nothing there as the BIOS version is v.49, and it is the most recent.

I have also downloaded/installed the driver audio and rebooted the PC.  Still, there is no noise.

Finally, I have checked the audio drivers and the reporting system they work without any problem.

    What should I do next?

    Thanks, Terry

    @Terry57

    Thanks for the reply,

I was under the impression that these links would take you to guide step by step, however, it seems that they do not work,

However, I have provided details below:

To perform a hard reset on a computer equipped with a removable battery, follow these steps:

    1. Turn off the computer.

    2. Remove the computer from the docking station or port replicator.

    3. Disconnect all external devices from devices such as USB, external displays storage devices and printers.

    4. Disconnect the power adapter from the computer.

    5. Remove the battery from the compartment to batteries.

    6. Press and hold button power for about 15 seconds, remove any residual electric charge capacitors that protect memory.

    7. Insert the battery and plug the power adapter into the laptop, but do not connect peripheral devices.

    8. Press the power button to turn on the computer.

    9. If a boot menu appears, use the arrow keys to select start Windows normally and then press the Enter key.

    10. After you have reconnected each peripheral device, run Windows Update and HP Support Assistant to update all device drivers.

To perform a hard reset on a computer equipped with a sealed or non-removable battery, follow these steps:

    1. Turn off the computer.

    2. Remove the computer from the docking station or port replicator.

    3. Disconnect all external devices from devices such as USB, external displays storage devices and printers.

    4. Disconnect the power adapter from the computer.

To perform a system recovery, this link should work: click here

Keep me posted for any technical assistance,

All tips and steps to solve problems and resolve this problem?

    Hello:

The only suggestion I can offer would be to:

    1. install the driver for the motherboard nvidia chipset in your model and restart.

    http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/30520/en-us

    2. install the latest Realtek HD audio driver from the link below.

Accept the agreement.  DL and install second driver on the list.

  • HP Pavilion p046na-15 sound level playback

    Hello

I recently bought a laptop HP Pavilion 15 with AMD/Realtek HD audio hardware and Beats Audio.

Windows 8.1operating system.  It is brand new out of the box with no update done.

When I play mp3 via Windows Media Player music, the volume is is boosted during quiet parts.  It is particularly visible on the slopes that fade out, noise becomes gradually higher as the song fades, as it tries to maintain a constant volume of reading.  This creates a lot of background noise on vinyl recorded music, for example.

I checked it is not recording, by transferring the same MP3 to another device and it play - the song reads exactly as not registered, no problem.

I can't find all the options in the audio (or audio beats) that could control this behavior.  Is there an equalizer somewhere in the system?

p.s. it the same has even with Beats Audio disabled.

PPS it has the same thing with the internal speakers, headphones and external speakers.

Well, who did not help a lot.  A crossed the same script I've had in this forum and still no solution.

I see that this is not a new problem, seems that a lot of people have complained on various forums that options such as volume on Realtek systems compensation is turned on, but can not be disabled via the audio Manager or Device Manager.  If HP has information on this issue, it would have saved me a lot of time looking for an answer that is simply not there.

In the meantime I found myself 2 solutons:

    1. buy an external USB sound card, which, in my opinion works actually better than the internal hardware of Realtek.

    OR

    2. use the "Rollback Driver" option in the Realtek HD Audio Manager settings in Device Manager.  This uninstalls drivers AMD/Realkek and restores the Microsoft drivers by default, which allows you to change the volume trim setting (as you would expect a quality driver for sure).  This also has the effect of off the Beats Audio feature, but to be honest, it's no great loss.

I am disappointed that HP support seemed unaware of this problem, or were not willing to own up to it pulically.  Given this market HP Beats Audio and the main features of the Pavilion notebooks range, looks like that this problem would be a high priority.

    Hi winniewai,

I've included the link for audio driver for your model below. After you download and go install make sure you right click on the file and select run as administrator.

  • HP PAVILION NOTEBOOK PC - sound G6 does not work properly, "crackling".

    Hiya,

The laptop was having problems, so I nuked it and reformat the hard drive and reinstalled Windows 7 64 bit. I downloaded the drivers for audio here - http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-g6-1200-notebook-pc-series/5145704/model... I didn't know that was what I wanted for the sound itself for the speakers, so I downloaded each, uninstalled the previous until I had some kind of result, the one who gave me a result was "IDT high definition CODEC. When I click on test in reading, she sometimes plays nothing but another time parts of the carillon will play and cut, in a sort of crackling. Videos YouTube do not seem to want to play either, so pilots himself seems to have installed, but obviously it does not work as expected, so I'm stumped on how to fix it. Little help would be much apprechiated.

Since I am from a tech background, I think that its in my best interest to give the same kind of help that I would see when I googled these questions.

Many thanks to @Dvortex who, in a different thread, gave this advice, which totally fixed my problem. I hope this helps someone coming through this.

Go to Device Manager (you can give a right click on the windows logo on the lower left corner of your screen and select Device Manager from the list)

Now to maximize the "audio, video, and game controllers" in the list. You will see the audio driver. Right click on "IDT high definition audio CODEC" / "Realtek audio CODEC" and select "Update driver software".

Choose "Browse my computer for driver software" - choose "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

Select "High Definition Audio Device" (not IDT high def... or Realtek High Def... This is important) and click Next. You get a warning message but answer 'yes '.

Once windows have updated driver software, try to play the audio again and check.

  • Computer HP Pavilion laptop g6 sound disappears.

    Hello

I have a problem with my laptop. When I feed my camera everything is fine, but then... we go several minutes sound disappears. The strange thing is that "mute button" on my keyboard does not respond too, when I hit him theres no light orange and the other the screen appears a lvl of volume (normally, it should be a cross-volume lvl). When I want to play Spotify or something like that, he said that my sound card is being used by another program... The funny thing is that when I did something like 'stress test' (I played Spotify when its worked just after the system startup) sound worked for about 6 hours and everything was fine. I hope that I will find any type of need here.

    System: Windows 8

    Model: HP Pavilion g6-2310sw laptop

Also, I want to add that each system reboot solves this problem but only for a period of time (several minutes).

    Try the following.

Open windows control panel, open Windows Update, select "View update history" in the left pane and then select "Installed updates" link in the next window.

  • HP Pavilion Touchsmart kept Sound disappears after installation and reinstalling the drivers

I have a HP Pavilion Touchsmart 14-B132TX Sleekbook. My sound disappeared while I was using it a month ago. I called the HP Hotline and Technical Support told me just uninstall it from the Device Manager and when restarted, automatically installs the driver. What I did.

The sound came back but still once he disappeared after about 15 minutes of use, so I called tech support again and they gave me links to HP support for drivers to download and install which I did and rebooted the computer and the sound came back again. BUT again, the noise has disappeared. I called tech support and they just do a system restore which I did and the sound came back again. But he disappeared again after all just 7 minutes of use.

These are the drivers, I installed from the HP Web site: sp60642, sp64082, sp60464 and sp64031. After reinstalling the drivers. I cleaned my laptop with CCleaner and went to HP Support Assistant in the hope of getting a solution, there was a statement here to download the QUALCOMM Atheros driver and I installed again the driver said... The sound has come back after rebooting. AND again, he has disappeared after just using the laptop for about 3 minutes. (it gets worse!.) This laptop is quite new, he just bought 10 months ago. • Pavilion 1723w not sound

Need help with desktop Pavilion 1723w with HP ha17 monitor that recently has no sound.  Tried to plug in different set of speakers, still no sound.  Any ideas on how to solve the problem?

    C64, welcome to the forum.

Here is the original driver for the sound.  I propose to install to see if that helps.  Also, go to control panel / control to make sure that the audio device is the default value.

If this does not help, you must perform a full restore of the system.  After 7 years of use, installing and uninstalling programs can cause an accumulation of files without value.  These can beging to cause problems.
