  It's really hard to say what causes this problem, but I think that notebok technicians do a good job and they will be committed to repair your laptop as soon as possible. Maybe they ordered some new parts, but they are not available at this time

  Theoretically, all that could be the reason of this problem FL inverter, LCD screen, motherboard, graphics card, cable, etc.

  So I think you should call the technicians still what is the current status.
  But I doubt that you can get a new laptop for free. If it of still under warranty, it will be repaired.

  I just got a coming 8 Pro (32g).  The user manual says that I should be able to press the power button and turn off the screen.  However, when I press the power button, nothing happens.  I can for 4 seconds and the PC will ask to stop, but pressing on this button does not put the tablet in standby or turn off the screen at all.  I have to go to settings-> Power-> sleep just to turn off the screen.

  Hello. I use rev version 1.1.0.0 01020 on an Alcatel OTF.

  I have a problem with my laptop screen. The backlight of the screen does not work no matter how suspect more and I switch that turns off the screen when I close my laptop is broken.

• Satellite L300 - 1-5 - the screen does not work

  Recently, I encountered a problem with my laptop, the screen does not work.

  This means that the internal monitor is ok and the reason must be the graphics card or card mother herself.

  I guess for now, you get only a screen empty and nothing happens on your laptop?

  In this case, you should contact the closest service provider authorized in your country. Just get in touch with the guys and ask for help. They can check the cell phone and fix it! ;)

  I tried. Turn on my g6 last night and it works but the screen is not the fan starts and the lights are normal, I tried to take the battery.   Like your laptop is by train (heard the noise of the fan and LED is lit), but the screen remains black, I suggest you to watch the following document 'computer won't start (Windows 7, Vista, XP)'. Now, this document you have already done the hard reset so you won't have to do it again once, but the part you want to follow the steps, is symptom: LEDs flow, the fan noise is heard, but the display is black or white.

  Please let me know the results of the troubleshooting steps.

  I'm a student in computer engineering at the University of Waterloo 1A, and I run a very serious problem with my HP Envy 15 "TouchSmart laptop computer running Windows 8.1.   Before I had my MATH 117 conference (Calculus 1 Engineering), I was in a nearby lab where my laptop was open and turned, works correctly. I've had NetBeans IDE running since I wanted to work on the second part of my current assignment of CS 137 (principles of programming). Because it was almost time for my presentation, I closed the laptop by simply moving the screen down on the keyboard, where it goes into mode 'sleep'. (Whenever I flip to the top of the screen, the laptop is supposed to return, and the sliding screen of Windows 8.1 connection will appear.)

  When I took my seat for reading, I wanted to spend a little time to work on my programming assignment.
