• No display on monitor... S-O-S NEED HELP!

  OK, I did something very stupid and now need help fixing it. First of all, I have an old HP Pavilion a767c computer with a LCD of ViewSonic VA721 monitor. I decided to try to speed up a part so I opened my startup items in the control panel and the thought that my HP Digital Imaging Monitor was a sort of photo enhancement program... I unchecked from my start-up list. WON'T DO THAT AGAIN! Anyway, now I know it was my monitor and when I turn on my computer, all I get on the screen of the monitor is "No Signal". At the beginning I thought it was my data transfer cable, but I checked it with a cord and is not what the problem was. Then I remembered that I had unchecked HP Imaging surveillance digital switch in the control panel.  And yes the PC and the monitor have been quite work right until I made this mistake and then tried to start it again. If anyone has had this problem before and can someone help me please?

  The first thing I would do is unplug the monitor and restart the machine without the monitor connected. Then close it and hang the screen on the pc. The second thing I would do is if you have another monitor, laying around; Plug the second monitor and see if it loads for you. Finally, if it works unplug that work your first monitor hook upwards.

• Need help to diagnose the regular system analysis on iMac - processors maxed out

  I need help to identify the cause of a problem that occurs at least 2 - 3 times per day using my iMac (27-inch, mid 2010) running 10.11.5.

  I will use my iMac and then all at once things will start to really trolling. To the point of being completely unusable. Even if I'm able to move my cursor, then click to drag the windows around the screen nothing does really.

  I have iStat menus running so that can see graphics in my menu bar that all 4 cores are completely overfished. Occasionally, I was fast enough to launch the activity monitor to try to see what applications / services are responsible for, the use of % CPU column is completely empty of values, so I can't identify the culprits in a reliable way. I try to keep that column sorted by % CPU use in the hope that he could reveal something and normally it's the kernel_task who is up there.

  I use a Wacom Bamboo dated Tablet (MTE - 450 has) instead of a mouse, and at one point, I was convinced the pilot of PenTabletDrive it is based on was to blame. I contacted Wacom on this subject, and although there is no known issues they pointed out that although the latest drivers will allow me to use the tablet that they no longer support older devices. I was wondering if there was a problem of communication between the device and a driver that is no longer supported. I installed the latest driver supported for my tablet, but the problems persist.

  It may be interesting to note that, when my computer is in this semi-frozen state, I am able to launch the window enough force and quit all open applications leaving me with only the Finder. I guess that means that there are none of my apps running and it is probably one of the services. If I restart the Finder system grinds to a completely enclosed holt.

  I hope someone can let me know what I can find in the Console or elsewhere to help me finally zero in on what is to blame. I can share a log if that helps.

  I don't know what would make this process, but you can disable this in msconfig-> tab start Mr. If it would take in the future, then you could turn it on again.

  Hello. I need help to configure CAN interface to write and read from the same interface.

  I use NI PXI-8513/2. I use CAN1 as interface.

  My had TO send status messages CAN every 100ms. I have to read in order to return akntoowlege to keep DUT CAN interface happy and not make mistakes.

  So, I want to open Strim Session and readall frames in the loop. At the same time, I need to be able to write in a frame HAD at the time...

  I only need to read one picture at a time too, but since I know the ID, I can pull it from the stream.

  What I'm confusing all is how to put in place the same CAN1 interface to be able to write and read in parallel.

  I think I would get errors that interface is already in use.

  Since I'm new to CAN, I was read and write only when necessary. But, sometimes I was getting errors on my messages. Sometimes I get message, sometimes miss me. But, when I run CAN test criminal as sniffer he sends and written every time. I was told it's because it recognizes all messages.

  I opened to suggestions of how best to implement the interface.

  I guess I can use CAN2 and separator to work around this problem, but I would use an interface if possible.

  The XNET hadrware takes care of most of the low level of detials for you. The reading and writing of the circuits are both connected to the bus at any time. When you write to the hardware it will try to put a frame on the bus at the first opportunity he can. If the frame loses arbitration material re - will attempt to send the frame up is successful.   I have FSX Deluxe. When I installed FSX SP1, it was all fine, but when I installed FSX SP2 graphics were messed up. So I uninstalled FSX SP2 and tried again, and it was the same thing. So I uninstalled FSX all together and reinstalled fresh and put on FSX SP1, it was going well until I put FSX SP2, the same thing happened again, messed up graphics.

  So I uninstalled FSX SP2 and updated my drivers graphic and tried again and the same thing happened.

  Method 1:

  Adjust display settings

  Many recent Microsoft games require a card video and monitor that can run a resolution of at least 800 x 600 in color (16 bit). Set the resolution of Windows display on 800 x 600 in color (16 bit), and then test the game. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. in Windows XP, click Start, point to settings and then click Control Panel.
  In Windows Vista, click on start to reduce this includes personalization thtype in the Search box and then click on personalization in the programs list.

  2. in Windows XP, double-click display.
  In Windows Vista, click display settings.

  3. click on the settings tab.

  4. move the slider of the desktop area or screen area slider to 800 x 600 pixel definition.

  Method 3:

  Check or turn on Direct 3D

  To check or turn on Windows XP Direct3D acceleration, follow these steps:

  1. click on Start, click run, type dxdiag , and then click OK.

  2. on the display tab, verify that all DirectX features are enabled. If all the features are disabled, click enable next to the feature.
  Note If some DirectX features are unavailable, verify that your video card meets the minimum requirements.

  We also bought this monitor to her (though I doubt it's important in this case):

  The problem started about two months ago when the computer turns off without reason then that slowed down (before sleep should have started). After the computer restarts, he gave the beep codes that there was a problem with memory (1 short beep, 1 beep, long pause, repeat) long. At this point, the computer won't be enough for any start screen at all, not even a blue screen.

  • All powered fans (power supply, fan CPU cooler, case) and a spin at full speed.

  • Green light on the power supply remains stable.
  • VA CD drive open and close normally.

  What is does not power upward:

  • No display at all.
  • No beep codes.
  • No blue light on the button walk / stop (top of case).
  • CPU does NOT get hot to the touch after 5 seconds to be under tension (with the fan and the heatsink removed and unplugged).
  • With two strips of RAM not removed, no beep of any kind.

  I also tried to use an old video card, I had to hang out, thinking that maybe the onboard graphics card were no longer works. The video card gets power as his fan runs, also at full speed. Still no display.

  I already bought a pair of replacement RAM sticks, exact same specifications and brand (Crucial), no difference. I tried all combinations of each stick into each slot with the original of the RAM in the first place, so I assumed it was sticks and replaced. Now that the RAM has been replaced and no beep codes, I suspect the motherboard or the CPU.

  I also tried to reset the BIOS by removing the battery for 10 + minutes and also move jumper to 2-3 1-2 during 10 seconds and replace (with power off).

  What I want to know is which component I need to replace to get this computer working before its tax season. I'd like to think it's the processor, because it remains cold to the touch after turning on. If this is the case, can someone confirm that this is a suitable replacement? (Intel Pentium E5700 Wolfdale 3.0 GHz LGA 775 65W Dual-Core processor desktop BX80571E5700) http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16819116381

  If it's the motherboard (I hope not), it can be replaced without having to re - install windows? I can't find an exact replacement for the H - I41 - Μatx Foxconn (Eton). HP has one of these in stock that could be shipped out?

  I know that the computer is already out of warranty (barely) and can do the work myself, but need help to determine the problem I want to throw the money to do this work right.

  Hello jkalbin, I think a bad mother rather than the processor card. Chess with the processors don't happen often at all. You should never feed a computer with radiator/fan all not attached to the processor. Just 5 seconds without the radiator/fan could easily burn a processor.

  The fact that the processor had no hot does not mean it does not work, if the motherboard does not send power to the processor.

  Motherboard failures are many times more often than the failures of processor. I had one processor to fail in more than 25 years of working with computers.

  Well, I expected more of a response, but I'll wing it from here: your cable goes into a modem.  This modem can be a wireless modem/router, or simply a modem cable to your computer.

  Connection problem you might start by connecting the cable into the modem.  Ensure that it is well defined.  If everything looks good, then it is possible that there is a decline in cable service before he gets to the modem.  For example, the interface side of the House can be affected by a bad connection, for example water intrusion, or poor soil.  So you may want to check into that.  Then, there is always the possibility that your cable provider has lost his momentaily of transmission, and that the modem needs to be reset.  If this happens often, you must contact the cable provider.

  Looking back on what you said about the Ipad, I feel that you have a wireless modem/router.  It is possible that your connection to the desktop must be after you have used the Ipad.  For example, you may need to right-click on the monitor icon in the Systray to your desktop and open your network sharing Center.  Even if you can say that you are connected to the Internet, you may not.  Then... just ... simplement cliquer click on 'connect or disconnect', then find your network connection appropriate, right click on that and select disconnect, then immediately right-click the same but select Connect.

  A few months ago, I decided to connect my laptop to a Full HD monitor so that I can hopefully get a better resolution when editing photos. I bought the monitor but BAM! It was all lagy and I realized that my laptop is not good enough to run things smoothly (although it may do so at its native resolution perfectly 720 p) so, as a student, I started to work and to invest the money to buy a computer case and use it with the monitor that I had already bought for no reason!

  So, I built my new PC recently and I put the (relatively) decent material about it but I still have the same problem

  Windows 7 SP1 64 bit

  RAM: 8 GB DDR3 1600

  Processor: AMD FX-8320 8-core 3.5 Ghz

  MB: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. M5A97 R2.0 (Socket 942)

  Graphics card: 1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series (GB)

  Hard drive: 500 GB Western Digital SATA 3

  I know that some of you will say that's not SSD, so it's slow, but I don't think that my hard drive is causing a problem. Laptop from my friend who has specifications lower than mine (a 2.5 HDD), lower map low graphics + CPU (but Intel i7) performs much better and is much smoother (is almost perfect) in the culture and the change of exposure.

  What do you think is the problem? It's shit AMD processor that is the cause, or is - this lightroom which is not compatible with my processor? What parts should I change as appropriate, or do I return everything and work with lower resolution on my laptop

  Hi, I'm newer to Premiere Pro (using the new version of Pro obtained in March 2010 on a PC) and watched all the tutorials (lots of video) and read a LOT about the subject! And I have answered several questions about mine. But there is one main thing (that I'll probably have to divide it into 2 or more questions) that I just got a complete knowledge & really your expert need help on!

  I have designed/product audio (music) for a while now and when you start a new session just, you select your sample rate & are locked in for the most part therefore... Pretty simple... Now with Pro, when you start your new session, you choose your Preset sequence. Now for this first project, a video clip (3 minutes), the audio is done (as I said) and for the clip, we use images from several sources including: maybe 55% compared with a mini-camera DV, 40% of the .vob files right & the remaining 5% of some mpeg files + a few YouTube videos (we only have it our preserved images of front on YouTube) + some JPEGs (still images). And we plan to export the final video on YouTube and the internet. And we want also ready to be broadcast on both television (MTV, some media, shows, etc.). And Yes, we will also use it on cell phones (even if it is the least important right now). So 3 main exports (which I believe are all made at the end through media encoder).

  • But to choose the right Preset sequence at the beginning, I am confused, unfortunately.   I

  Believe you choose the one that best fits to of your assets sizes & frame rate [in this case, which is a camera film regular DV; & mediainfo said the .vob file = 720 x 480 (4:3) to 29.970 fps MPEG video (NTSC), one of the shots (of our) YouTube = 480 x 270 (16:9) at 29.970 fps STROKE, a MPEG = 352 x 288 (4:3) at 25.000 fps and 2 examples of jpeg = 300 x 400 (size = 57 KB)] and another = 720 x 450 (size = 100 KB)]. So if I am wrong in my assumption on the choice of a pre-defined sequence just on the best corresponds to the your assets rates & sizes, I would choose (I think): DV-NTSC Standard 48 kHz (the 48 just to 41 over our audio sampling frequency). 

  And if all goes well, it is excellent for our export needs YouTube at the end of the process the video & tv as well!

  Or I'm wrong, & it (your Preset Sequence) depends on your final product & the output?

  My friend (who admits that he is no expert in some way) explained that I would probably go with HDV 1080 p 30 as this will give a much better value for my release. But after he saw the results in Pro with this setting for my property, he agrees with MY above conclusion instead. 

  When you use the DV - NTSC Standard 48 kHz preset, I saw the asset in the Source monitor Panel (& then dragged the clips to the timeline) & seen in the finale of "Project Monitor" (I think it is called). And they looked decent in this final screen (where I'll crop & use some shared screens sometimes). 

  And when I used his suggestion of 1080 p HDV 30, assets looked ok in the Source monitor Panel (I think), but very little in the final project monitor. 

  • And led me to another big question - when you use the jpeg format which is 1280 x 960 e.g. (largest

  as the previous ones) in the Standard DV NTSC 48 kHz preset, happening in the Source monitor. But when you drag it down to the timeline and view it in the program monitor, the head was cut off, etc. and of course, when you use instead the HDV 1080 p 30 preset, as larger jpeg even adapt very well in the in the program monitor. Now, I understand that this is because the size of the frame (dimensions) close match those of the HDV preset. I get it.   I know it's much, but if you could address all of the above questions (more background or discussion - is but a handful of issues in there), you have my gratitude... we were afraid to start the part of the video of this project is NOT know what sequence preset start with (as "we don't want to be locked into the wrong choice & waste weeks of editing), let alone a good understanding of the 'why' or the ramifications!

  Rendering is done on a basis as needed. If we do a complex animation with keyframes, or if they have odd source files, they could do. For keyframe animations, I could make this section of the timeline of a dozen or more times. Otherwise, maybe not.

  Rendering is the production of AV files, just for reading. They take a lot of space and will take a while. It's one of the reasons that a Publisher must familiarize themselves with the WAB (work area bar), so that they do things like rendering for all what they might need. Tip: remember to put this back to the full timeline.
