  Thanks for posting on the Microsoft answers Forum.  I need to get the details on your situation.  You say that you want to uninstall XP?  It will be the only way to install another operating system or use a program that will allow you to erase the hard drive.  You mention that you got a virus and you tried to do a restore.

  So my question is what are you trying finally to accomplish?  Do you want to just get a virus on your system or you want to wipe the drive and reinstall XP.

• Need help to install presets into LR3 (please!)

  This week, I bought many presets. The first few downloaded without any problem. But I can't get the last batch of installation for the life of me. I contacted the company and they sent me a new link in the case of the former has been altered. Same thing happened. I'll try to explain the problem better than I can, and if all goes well it will make sense.

  When appears in the import file, I use the field above to open the folder on my desktop that contains predefined settings. The name of the folder appears in the window, but the import box says "no items don't match your search. No matter what I do, I can't get one of the presets appear in the import box so that I can follow up on import. I double click on the name of the folder. I tried to copy and paste. But nothing. The previous settings that I imported worked perfectly. Once I opened the folder containing them, automatically presets appeared in the area of import. What intrigues me is that when I open the file outside of LR import window, all the presets are listed. So it's not as if the folder is empty.

  I am very new to LR and not the best technical person when it comes to computers, so I really hope that someone will have an answer for me. Thanks in advance for your time and help if you have any advice.

  What you think, it's "the real predefined file" is actually a ZIP file containing these presets. You must unzip these files in a 'true' folder and then specify this folder 'true' when the importation of Preset in LR.

  To decompress in a folder 'true', you can do the following:

  • Create a new folder on your desktop, for example "Presets to be imported.
  • Open the new folder in an Explorer window
  • Since the ZIP file opened as shown in the screenshot 2, drag and drop all the .lrtemplate files in the new folder
  • Specify this new "Import Presets" folder when you import Preset in LR

• I need help to retrieve my hard drive using the recovery of Neosmart disk (it takes days)

  To get a better perspective, I'll tell you the history of what has gone wrong.

  What happened is that the computer has a virus and it changed some coding on the computer. When this happened to that my computer wouldn't let me enter my account and the only account that I could go on was the administrator account. I tried on a few websites and the other microsoft Web sites told me to do something with the command userinit or something like that, which led to the black screen of death that I managed to fix it on my own.

  Another website told me to use the recovery disk but like a lot of people that I don't have a recovery disk, I only had a reinstallation disk that said I could fix the computer, but it would delete all hard disk that I didn't, I need the intact files because they are important to my family.

  Then I discovered on the recovery disk that you can buy from Neosmart.com and this disc is made like the original Vista recovery disk. Anyway I bought it and I clicked on "Automatic repair" and it comes up with 2 dives eligible for recovery (it says at the top) a player is 10 GB and the other is 288 GB (it says active is the 288 GB we) I clicked on repair automated on one of them, but I don't remember. Apparently fixed it (coding I guess) and I restarted but no consideration was there. He says "Please wait" for a long time, then it comes up with a single account that says "User" I click it and it says user name and password you will need to connect to a computer at school or something. I put my username and password anyway and it does not of course and it comes up with "the specified domain does not exist or could not be contacted.

  So, I went back on the recovery disk and I so I click on system restore to get my stuff back and I can put it on a previous date until the virus has arrived and I click on it, then it is said that his recovery, files, but just like that, I let him recover and he was recovering for 3 days before I came on this site and tried something but it did not work. Like I said before it is 288 GB so I guessed it would take a long time to recover only the amount of data, but it seems just silly.

  To recover the photos, you can remove the drive and it slave on another computer (you can get very cheap external envelopes) and remove your data (you have just learned an important lesson in why you need to have backups).

  , I played Xbox Live for 9 months and have not had any problems with it until my Xbox 360 broke down. I had fixed it so its place and currently under way and I can't use Xbox Live more.   The reason why the admin does more work as router password because you have setup a router password, not knowing, in the first time install you your router... If you remember the router password when you used all first your installation CD to install your router then enter this password else you need to reset your router and the re - configure...

• Need help adding folder presets Lightroom 4

  I am a new user of lightroom.  In fact, we bought it at the suggestion of my niece, but have done very little with it.  I recently bought presets online, but may not know how to add a new folder.  Watching the video, I'm very well until he says Add folder in right in the presets on the left box.  I see that, but right click and nothing happens.  And when I go into the drop to develop new preset folder is in gray and so I can't select it.  I bought these presets, and I am now thinking that I can't ever be able to use them.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

  Steps to import presets (using Lightroom)-

  1. the purchased presets should be in a folder that is not a zip file. So if your models are in a zip file it must be "strengthened" first. Note the location of this folder.

  2. in Lightroom, open the develop module.

  3 open/expand the control panel settings predefined

  4. click on the "User Presets" folder (or other)

  

  5. Select "import...". »

  6. in Finder/Explorer window that opens, go to the templates folder (as noted in step 1.).

  7. Select all files .lrtemplate in the folder-[Ctrl + A]

  8. click on the [Import]

  Note: Single hierarchy of subfolders is allowed in the Panel presets, so import a "case" may not happen. Select the .lrtemplate files.

  Presets can be moved between folders in the presets Panel and new folders created to move in after the import.

  You should also be aware of the type of presets - they were 'Developing', or 'Fit Local' presets presets. The steps above don't apply only to preset stations "develop."

  You can also use a "manual" method

  If you find your folders presets by using the "Presets" tab in the Preferences dialog box, you can use the operating system to copy & paste the .lrtemplate files in the download folder to the appropriate presets folder.

  What browser are you using, Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Chrome.

  If its IE try this: in IE > tools > Internet Options > Security tab > select Reset all default level areas.

  This should reset the security settings and allow you to download files.

  Looks like you do everything right. I just sent myself a doc word opened the email and who launched Word to Go. I then closed and saved and can be found only through Media-Explorer or by first launching WordToGo and then open it. So it seems that something is wrong with yours.

  First thought - there was an update for Documents To Go... the current version is 1.006 (052) - find who spear one of the applications To Go and then open the menu (button BB) and selecting "about...". ». If you are on an older version, first advice is to get the update (another selection in this menu). Then try again.

  Second thought - which version of Word? I noticed my WordToGo talks about reading through Word2004 (I think they mean 2003). If you try to use a document of 2007 (.docx), it might not work.

  Hi Patrick,

  Mahesh said the issue is with space in "Program Files". Try otherwise mentioned mahesh is to remove space in "Program Files" and then try or choose jdk path with no spaces in folder names. Your problem should be solved. Also give the path of access to the jdk and don't add no-end.
