  The Windows system assessment tool (WinSAT) is a module of Microsoft Windows Vista, which measures various hardware capabilities and performance features it runs and reports them as an index of performance Windows (WEI) score, a number between 1.0 and 5.9 for Windows Vista and Windows Vista SP1.

  The WEI allows users based on their performance of the hardware with the software performance requirements. For example, the graphical interface Aero recommends a score of WEI of 3 or more for satisfactory use of the "Aero Glass" feature. WEI also lets you show what part of a system will provide the largest increase in performance when it is upgraded. For example a computer with the lowest score of sup in his memory, would benefit more than increased the RAM to add a faster hard drive (or any other component).

  problem occurs when I try to connect more than 20 computers and as an error shows that it has reached its connection limit. Tried to change advance sharing users 20 to 30 but can not. Is there a way to get around this or is that windows 7 can not be supported more than 20 computers on a network?

  OK, so my first HARD drive news was bricked because I didn't know that a locked BIOS would automatically lock a new drive.   I know now...

  Rule 1: a LOCKED bios will lock (read: brick) a new HARD drive

  
  So, what about the two rule. Would be a HDD then the lockout a BIOS otherwise Virgin locked?

  I is a computer technology way back in retirement now and my girlfriend son has a Dell Inspiron N5110 and she got the trinkets on the bios and some how locked bios and asks the password service tag. So here I am stuck and cannot lock this thing, she never recorded and the warranty expired, so I need to know what I should do to get this master password to unlock. Since she never recorded I advanced and recorded in my name and I am sure that this is not proof of ownership, but I did anyway. so if someone can tell me now that it will cost me for a lot for this code I would appreciate,

• BIOS not supported on portable computers

  I have a Tecra A11 model PTSE0C - 07H 001 and a Tecra R850 model PT524C - 00H 003. I downloaded the updates to the BIOS for both and ensured that I chose the correct model in the selection dialog of device driver on the driver download page. My selection is confirmed by the fact that all the drivers that I downloaded from the page of each model very well installed and work. I searched the forums for this problem and all I have found are messages indicating that the poster downloaded the wrong BIOS. I guess it's possible in my case, but if if it's only because Toshiba has displayed bad BIOS for laptops. I doubt that is the case. I suspect that there is something else which prevents installation BIOS, although I can't figure out what it could be.

  The BIOS I install are the Windows install versions.
  OS: Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
  Tecra A11 BIOS filename: PTSE0_PTSE3_PSSE0_PTME0_PTME3-290-WIN
  Tecra R850 BIOS filename: R830_R840_R850 - 2.40 - WIN

• Microsoft wireless intellimouse 3000A failed after 3 months, two within an hour and a third a week more later all computers portable differnent

  I bought 4 intellimouse to 4 laptops.  After the failure of 3 1/2 month three of appoximately transceivers, quite warm to the touch you can not hold them as if a diode were burned.  Two of the transceivers has no less one hour of each other and the other a week later.  The first sign was an on-screen error message (windows 7) that a usb driver failed after detecting a device.  Did I just get a bad batch of peripheral mouse (Best Buy in Auburn, ME)?  Only one of the original devices 4 still works.  We have replaced the three different failed with wireless mouse devices and they worked.
