Mouse behaves badly

HP Touchsmart 520-1168 running Windows 8 Pro with Media Center

My mouse seems to have a mind of its own, and the cursor will go to the lower left corner of the taskbar at random times.  It will open the program no matter what either is being in this place on the taskbar.  I tried to restore the system to an earlier time, I had no chance to make him stop doing it.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Hello again Cottontail.

I hope you don't mind if I post the content of your message private here.  This will ensure that all other users looking for answers will know the results.

"I tried a wired mouse this morning and it seems to work very well, when I turned on the mouse HP wireless, the problem has started up again."

So, this means that the problem lies in the mouse itself because another piece of equipment works fine.  If the problem was software related the problem would persist in 99% of the time.  Your best bet is to replace the mouse.  If you want to check that the mouse had gone wrong you might try to use it on another computer.  If the problem persists it is certainly the mouse.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.  I wish you a great week!

  • Mouse behaves badly after the update MS Mouse and keyboard Center

I use a model wireless MS Mouse 4000 and MS Mouse and keyboard Center 2.1.177.0 worm installed.  Since this update the scrolling behavior does not work correctly.  In a particular program (a simulation game), scrolling works much too fast.  If I go into the centre of keyboard and mouse and adjust the scrolling speed, it works well.  But when I restart the previous settings seem to be lost, so I have to put once again.  I use Win 7-64 bit.  The mouse worked fine before the 2.1.177.0 version.  Any suggestions?  TIA

PS I vaguely recall a default update but can find no trace of that.  Running MS Mouse and keyboard Center seems normal.  There is no obvious command 'save settings', so I guess it does it automatically.

Hello. I have the DVD of Lightroom 5.7.1 version. He just started is behaving badly and I've deleted and reinstalled the product. When I'm in the 'development' module, I get random stains of color in my images. This only occurs in the develop module and no where else. It also does not reach any other software or area on my pc. I also changed the cable and the same triesd another monitor. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

Are patches of red and blue color?

If so, you probably have warnings of cutting of light/shadow enabled. Press J to hide them.

You can also activate their power by clicking on the arrows up left and right of the histogram.

Salient facts cut medium red, medium blue clipped shadows.

  • The wireless mouse pointer behaves badly in desktop Acer

Have an acer desktop, internet explore xp, probably need update of Windows 8

    Hi Sabnazzy,

Welcome to the community of Microsoft and thanks for posting the question. According to your description, wireless mouse does not work properly. I've surely you will help find a solution on the issue.

    1. What is the model number for Acer desktop computer?

    2. What is the brand and model of the keyboard and wireless mouse?

    3. not this problem occurs when you run a specific program or out of order?

Method 1: Try to insert another port of the mouse and check.

Try to connect the receiver to a different port. Then check the behavior of the device. By trying the receiver on a different port, you can eliminate all the problems affecting the port itself.

    Method 2:

Put the computer in a State of boot is a way to know which application is causing this problem.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

Step 1: Follow the steps in the link below to do the same thing:

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as shown here:

Step 2: To configure Windows to use a Normal startup state

After you have used the boot is a way to solve your problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    a. click Start, and then run.

    b. type msconfigand click OK. The System Configuration utility dialog box appears.

    c. click on the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click on OK.

    d. When you are prompted, click restart to restart the computer.

If you need assistance in upgrading Windows 8, I suggest you to return the items. You can check hardware compatibility by using the upgrade wizard tool.

  • When I click once, my mouse behaves as if I clicked twice

    Original title: mouse issues

I started having a strange problem. I use a simple click on my mouse and in recent weeks, often when I click once, it behaves as if I clicked twice. Delete two emails instead of one or opening an email when I really only clicked in once to display in a pain of reading.

I changed the mouse because I assumed that maybe it's the problem, but that is not fixed. I looked at the settings of the mouse and there is nothing that seems to affect it. I'm a little puzzled. I don't know if I is hardware or software. any ideas?

    Hello

    1. how the mouse is connected to the computer (USB or PS2)?

    2. is the program specific question?

    3. What is the make and model of computer?

    4. If you bought the external mouse, what is the brand and model of the mouse?

If you use Microsoft mouse go through this link and check with the question.

  • How to make my mouse behave

Is it possible to desensitize this undisciplined mouse? Put a Governor on it? The SHIFT key in the LOW speed?

Will go back in my inbox at Mac tools and (hopefully) get one of the old mouse to use instead of this rat mini bouncing things around the screen that makes me sick at heart. Come on Apple too in this neuromuscular rodent for us with some difficulties. My fingers/hands tremble sometimes uncontrollable and things fly around on the screen. Go to the point on something and I'm "Chase" it as moves slightly off screen. I can grasp like a gorilla, but the keyboard and mouse are not strings, wheel or pick and shovel (no problem!). Tired of this mischievous mouse. The trackpad yuck!  Please try your hand think he's on the keyboard of a piano! No sympathy needed here. Always walk on the green side of the grass to 71 and love every day!

Have you tried the speed of tracking for your mouse in system preferences?

Go to the Apple Menu > System Preferences > mouse and move the slider to speed track toward slow and see if that helps.

  • The mouse behaves strangely when RDPing in Terminal Server

    Hi all

I have a few users with Mouse emits when they in their Server RDP terminal server. Some mouse clicks are part not at all and some simple clicks are part such as double-click, and some are normal. Double-tap speed is set at a rate that would not cause this. "Click items as follows" is defined as double click. Anyone have any ideas as to what it could be?

  • Application behaving badly

    Dev 11.1.2.1

I see some bad behavior in my application. I hope that someone will recognize the symptoms and to share the solution.

The application contains a menu top of page. Menu selections run workflows. Workflows allow the user to create, modify or view records in the database. We use an Oracle database.

Generally, the application works very well. Here and there some parts stop working properly. For example, I have a .jsf with a selectOneChoice to select an employee. I have a table that shows the hours of the employee for the week. The soc has a value change listener that runs the ViewObject that gave are shown in the table. The soc is autoSubmit. Partial table triggers include the GS.

Again, in general, this works very well. But sometimes, the page display and selection of a new employee in the soc has no effect on the table. The value change listener does not work or the table does not update or something. The "Done" button on the .jsf works. Click to return to the menu and then go back into the .jsf. Sometimes who's going to make it work properly again, sometimes it will not. If not, then I need to close the session and then again to make it work again.

The app is developed on a Windows 7 PC. It is deployed on a Sun Server. I see this problem when you run the application on the Sun Server, rather than in my stand-alone WLS. The behavior is difficult to reproduce on demand. Generally there is only one user that is running the application; execution of the test plan.

There are other strange behaviors, but it is a good example.

No one knows what may cause this?

    Thank you, Steve

    Steven,

The recommendation to disable the grouping of applications module is simply a troubleshooting technique to help you determine what is the problem, not a solution to the problem. If the problem is related to the cycle activation/passivation, turning off AM pooling will make the problem appear each time instead of intermittent. Therefore, if you disable AM pooling (for testing) and to find the 'sometimes' problem became a problem 'always', while you have identified the scope where the problem is and can then begin to dig more deeply to find the real solution.

  • Flash object behaves badly in Firefox

Firefox launches the flash out of its container file?  The page behaves correctly in IE8 (32-bit).  I posted in the forums of DW who suggested it was a matter of flash and not DW.

    Thanks in advance.

The best way to test and possibly solve the problem, is either find the external css doc that references "#mainContent" id and set the properties of "high" and "left" (if they exist otherwise add them) XY px absolute or relative locations. "

You can also use a style inline on the doc html itself in thecss styles internal to substitute the external doc, just add something like this to your html doc.

    #mainContent {}

    position: absolute;

    top: 100px;

    left: 200px;

  • LTE: Smart Lock began to behave badly

    5.1 running XT1527

"I'm Smart Lock with"Trusted sites"and the" body "detection enabled.

He had worked fairly reliable until recent days when sometimesbordering on often, rather than to present the unlock code from the display (time and the padlock icon), the screen remains blank when I either pick up the phone out of my office, or come out of my pocket.

To wake the phone in these cases, I press the power button that gives me a slightly different screen, time of day, date, next alarm time awake, Mid-Center of the screen, combined icons, lock and camera at the bottom of the screen. Sliding upward on this display unlocks the phone.

This does happen from time to time, and I did not understand a particular set of circumstances that may be related. I have not changed the settings of smart lock since I initially set them up. There has been several app updates in the last week or two.

The phone still works, and I know how to open upwards, so it is not critical. Just strange.

Oh, never mind. What was the problem, it seems to have disappeared.

It seems that most of the problems I encountered with this phone seems to disappear by themselves after a few days. It is perhaps the side effects of many updates app coming down all day, the temperature and humidity or moisture from my fingers.

So far, long service life only problems I have are with the app of my car and with the function of Group 12.

In the future, I'll wait for a problem to persist for at least a week before saying anything.
