Microsoft Touch Mouse mouse behaves badly

When you try to scroll with my touch mouse from Microsoft (not), it closes all open windows and tries to stop Windows 7.  I'm not under any key assignment software (people had suggested AutoHotKey to emulate the Middle-click.

This does not happen after a restart of Windows 7, but starts to occur randomly after the computer has restarted and Windows worked for awhile.

  • Microsoft touch mouse clicks do not work properly.

    Original title: Microsoft Touch Mouse

I look forward to this for months and fortunately bought mouse yesterday. But I'm afraid I have to return within a few days because the right click is tiring, that I can't keep my finger on the left side if I am in the right click? have to raise that finger each time. No way to click. So by selecting windows without accidentally trigger something is a problem without a middle-click. It very quickly becomes a pain in the * after playing starcraft 2. Why is it not possible to customize the touch gestures? Another major failure. Other than these issues, it's a beautiful piece of engineering. My concerns will be adresed. or do I have to look elsewhere for a new versatile wireless mouse suitable for a left-handed person?

  • Problem on Microsoft Touch mouse and Windows Vista

I had a tactile mouse memory of Microsoft Corporation, and I use Windows Vista on my laptop.

Of course, I know that this is exclusively for Windows 7, but I had no PC Windows 7.

Until I open the box of the mouse, I would like to know if Vista can support the mouse with basic functions such as the left and do a right click, return and scrolling.

If these basic functions are not supported under Vista, I have no choice and have to sell the touch mouse instead.

So pls tell me what function will be supported.

Or I have to install some kind of pilot...

    Thank you!

  • Getures Microsoft Touch Mouse mouse does not.

    Hello

I have problems with gestures not working not not on my newly acquired touch mouse.
I fought to get their work when you first install the mouse. / i was not invited to install the intellipoint software when I plugged the mouse in my laptp for the first time. /It seemed to install just the generic driver, which of course gave only the basic features and no multi gesture support.
I then downloaded and installed the software intellipoint from MS suite, but who also did not the gesture of support - even after the reboot!
I have uninstalled the drivers, reinstalled the drivers, then miraculously appeared to be lucky, and gestures all worked – for a week, then stopped working again? Why this is happening and why the gestures do not work after installing the intellipoint software required? I am now lwft with basic functions and none of the gestures.
I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, restart... the mouse would be defective? /It works, but just not gestures. I'm on a Windows 7 64-bit system.

    Hello

Method 1: check if the required version of the intellipoint software is installed.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/touch-mouse
    http://www.Microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/downloads

Method 2: clean boot the computer and check if the problem persists.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: follow step 7 to reset the computer to start as usual after the boot process.

  • Microsoft touch mouse hold - no driver and remains undetectable Windows 8

My mouse wedge of Microsoft touch worked (Windows 8). However, it has stopped working for no apparent reason and cannot be detected. I uninstalled and reinstalled the download from the Microsoft Web site and followed the advice posted. Under the 'material' on my laptop, it indicates that no driver is installed for the device and that none are necessary. The material appears under devices in the Control Panel, but cannot be detected. Any ideas? No other Bluetooth device is connected (or power), and all updates are installed. Bluetooth is turned on and other devices are detected when they are on.

Just managed to get on Microsoft Surface support.

To reset the mouse to the corner and allow it to repair, hold don the power button until the light flashes. This resets the pairing.

    Worked fine after that.

    Thank you guys. Excellent service.

  • Mouse behaves badly after the update MS Mouse and keyboard Center

I use a model wireless MS Mouse 4000 and MS Mouse and keyboard Center 2.1.177.0 worm installed.  Since this update the scrolling behavior does not work correctly.  In a particular program (a simulation game), scrolling works much too fast.  If I go into the centre of keyboard and mouse and adjust the scrolling speed, it works well.  But when I restart the previous settings seem to be lost, so I have to put once again.  I use Win 7-64 bit.  The mouse worked fine before the 2.1.177.0 version.  Any suggestions?  TIA

PS I vaguely recall a default update but can find no trace of that.  Running MS Mouse and keyboard Center seems normal.  There is no obvious command 'save settings', so I guess it does it automatically.

  • Mouse behaves badly

HP Touchsmart 520-1168 running Windows 8 Pro with Media Center

My mouse seems to have a mind of its own, and the cursor will go to the lower left corner of the taskbar at random times.  It will open the program no matter what either is being in this place on the taskbar.  I tried to restore the system to an earlier time, I had no chance to make him stop doing it.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

    Hello again Cottontail.

I hope you don't mind if I post the content of your message private here.  This will ensure that all other users looking for answers will know the results.

"I tried a wired mouse this morning and it seems to work very well, when I turned on the mouse HP wireless, the problem has started up again."

So, this means that the problem lies in the mouse itself because another piece of equipment works fine.  If the problem was software related the problem would persist in 99% of the time.  Your best bet is to replace the mouse.  If you want to check that the mouse had gone wrong you might try to use it on another computer.  If the problem persists it is certainly the mouse.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.  I wish you a great week!

Hi I just bought the Microsoft Arc Touch mouse for use with my MacBook Pro running Lion 10.7.4

  • Microsoft Explorer Mouse Touch cannot set up

    Hi all, Microsoft,.

You just bought a new Microsoft Explorer Touch mouse, but it cannot be used that the pointer does not move. Had installed the IntelliMouse 8.2 and this helped to recognize the USB transceiver only but the pointer does not move when the mouse is moved. IntelliMouse 8.2 is downloaded more than once from Microsoft and selected the version of windows xp and even after several reinstalls, the rest of the problem. (I use it on a HP laptop). I am suspecting that it is a flaw, but it was bought by internet I will return only after verifying the configuration of the device correctly. The mouse indicates green led when the switch is turned on for the first time but no led in the transmitter/receiver. Also tried to unplug the transceiver in the 3 USB ports but all the same. Also tried the mouse on another computer in Windows XP desktop and has the same problem. Laptops and PCs Office versions Windows XP SP2 or higher.

Is there anything else I can do, or that the mouse is not compatible with Windows XP?
    Kind regards

  • Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse scrolling problem

I have a Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse.  My problem is that when scrolling in the way of my index finger on the metal band, the page scrolls down, as it should, but then maintains a 'click' - same supplement with my index finger lifted well clear of the Strip.   This makes the reading of documents and emails a total boredom.  You reach the next starting point and the cursed thing jumps on another paragraph or two.  The driver is up-to-date.  The mouse is absolutely clean and the dirt and dust are not issues.  It's time to take this mouse has a few miles of the coast to see if it floats?  If anyone else has experienced this?   It would be great to fix because it's an uncomfortable thing to hold and I really like the way that batteries are registered by "flattening" of the mouse after use in order to turn it off.   Any advice would be welcome.   Frustratedly, David, NZ

Yes, I experience this problem with all Microsoft mice on Dell laptops.
