  • Missing drivers of sound and mouse

The mouse drivers and the sound are missing. Device Manager does not display them (they are not listed other) and they are also unusable. The unity of the system we are going to turn off beep that replaces a sound to be played. The speaker (the icon you click to set the sound) has a red X next to her with a speech bubble saying "no Audio output device is installed" when it really is. The monitor has speakers and there are also other speakers. The mouse does not currently work. I tried to move the mouse, but it still does not work. I use the arrow keys on num lock to move the cursor. Anyone know how to solve these two problems? Or at least restore the mouse.

Does the sound and mouse suddenly disappeared, or were they works fine until recently?

  • Keyboard, mouse, drivers, computer laptop

I have a laptop with Windows Vista Ultimate.  Something is causing both the touchpad and keyboard to no function.

    1. sometimes after running Windows Update - pilots for an infrared mouse/keyboard are pushed to the laptop and they circumvent the normal keyboard and touchpad drivers.  I am computer savvy, and I find them impossible to uninstall.  They reinstall on reboot, constantly.  Even if you disable Windows Update, they reappear 1-2 days later.

2 restore the system to a previous point is the only way I found to keep the computer off for 1-2 days.

    3. a USB mouse can be connected and works very well - seems to circumvent the infrared drivers (keyboard still does not work of course).

    4. reading online supports it as a Microsoft created the problem for users of laptops using Vista hearty.

Every day I get this error message and send it to Microsoft.  32\svhost.exe C:\Systems32/Drivers\c30a67ae1d5f4bd4.sys AND C:\Windows\system

Also: Microsoft called me about a report of my computer.  My daughter thought it was a hoax and hung up.  Is there a way I can connect with this Department once again?

Microsoft does not automatically contact you if you send details of error for them.  They use these reports to see what types of questions are trending and those that are trending upwards looked at herself.  The rest cannot.

And your daughter has been very wise - the call she received WAS a scam and she did well to cling to their topic.  Microsoft never call you unless you call them first, and they tell you that they will call back.

  • Acer Aspire V 11 Touch - Vista drivers dual boot and need

HI - anyone know where I can get drivers Windows Vista 32 bit for the WLAN on the Acer Aspire V 11 Touch? Can dual-boot the software but cannot connect to the internet on Vista.

    Thank you very much.

OK, time to abandon it. Pretty disappointed that, although I can find dualboot the correct drivers (graphics card and wlan) is almost impossible. People always want to dual boot and indeed that's being hit on the head - I can understand why (from the marketing point of view) but it will hurt only M$ in the long term.

If I bought a useful software a few years ago, and he still has the usefulness for me today, so I should be able to run it on my 'modern' computer without needing to downshift the material, which is actually what I need to do.

W8 is true new beginning and W10 will be an improvement, but M$ must:

    1. make virtual machines available for free - currently available (no M$) virtual machines are very limited.

    2. recognize that many users still want to run programs, they ran using XP.

Rant on, and M$, this is a client that is located close to the abandonment of your software.

It works very well with my runing newest laptop Windows 7 and sometimes on the Compaq (as well as the mousepad). However, sometimes without apparent reason, the cursor flashes on and for most offshore, do any worthless pointing device.  I tried to review the settings of control panel device (withdifficulty) and everything seems fine. I also tried several different mouse; same result.

I get a stable cursor to initialize to top, only up to the point where I select the user account to connect to. The pointing device then develops its own behavior.

    Well, you can try this:

    Go in start.

    Right-click Workstation,

    Then click on System Properties.

It should open a window, click the hardware tab.

Then click on the Device Manager button.

Expand mice and other pointing devices section,

Find your mouse, then right-click on it and click Uninstall.

    Restart your computer.

When you log on to Windows, this should start automatically install the device software. Once it's done

the mouse should work fine, without flicker.

IV. click the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box and then click Disable all.
    v. click OK.
VI. When you are prompted, click on restart.
VII. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

    (2) enable half the services
    (3) determine whether the problem returns
    (4) enable half of the startup items
    (5) determine if the problem returns
    (6) repeat the steps above until you find out which program or service is causing the issue

After you determine the startup item or the service that is causing the problem, contact the manufacturer of the program to determine if the problem can be solved. Or, run the System Configuration utility, and then click to clear the check box of the element of the problem.

  • Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 appears as mouse HID-complaint only, and does not appear in Intellipoint correctly

I just installed the mouse on my laptop Dell D820 running Windows 7 Ultimate (all the fullyy patched)

The mouse is recognized by the system and displayed both Bluetooth devices and devices windows with the correct name: Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000.  It works also.

However when I open Microsoft Mouse and go to the tab buttons, it is reported no. Microsoft USB mouse detected which means that I can not configure the buttons, etc.

And when I go to the Hardware tab reports the mouse as a mouse HID-complaint that is so, it also appears in Device Manager.

    So far I have tried:

    • Remove the mouse, and then reinstall (in a number of different ways).  When he returned, he is reported as 'unidentified device' and the device driver indicates a driver installation failed
    • Uninstalling and reinstalling Intellipoint - latest version downloaded and installed to sweat
    • The mouse of uninstall, reboot and reinstall the mouse

All very irritating.   Any suggestions to get the system fully recognize the mouse, please

    See http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=099&active_tab=systemRequirements.

IntelliPoint is not necessary and does not support the Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000. The buttons are not configurable.

There are some other Bluetooth Microsoft mouse which are supported by IntelliPoint, and the buttons can be configured.
    See http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/mouseandkeyboard/ProductList.aspx?type=Mouse&techId=Bluetooth
