I hope someone here can help me out. When I export my layout in PDF format, everything gets moved about a quarter of an inch. I just can't understand why he did this and I need to get this work completed. Any thoughts? It looks great in InDesign.
It moves, or did you include bleeding in the export settings?

Is there a way to open the exported pages automatically in the preview PDF files?
New to Mac and I was wondering if this feature is available. I regularly export Pages as PDF documents before sending them to the customers.
In Windows / Word, PDF files created automatically opens so you can view them.
I know it takes 5 seconds to manually open them in the preview, but if I missed an option that could automate this step?

When you print to PDF, choose the Option "open with Preview.

This problem normally occurs when you open Web pages in internet explore. Please specify if this happens when you open a program or opening a Web page or link in internet explore.

I want to insert page number. When I click "Header and footer", it says "an error occurred when retrieving page content". What does that mean?

This error message is usually an indication of a damaged PDF file. Corruption could be in your base file, but also in the file from which you are trying to insert the page. There is nothing you can do to make it work - PDF files are often impossible to repair. To find out which file is causing the problem, you can try to insert as a well-known file page. If it works, the problem is most likely in the file you want to insert to.
Muse to export pages in php but links are always html
After the update to MuseCC 2015.2 when exporting pages being created to my FTP server have the extension .php (which I think is wrong) and all links in pages are still trying to point to pages .html resulting in a 404 error. I can't seem to change the output of Muse, are the bad links or pages?

Liquid PHP is the script used for forms. Muse creates pages with forms, so that they are able to run properly, the versions of php. Certainly, it should not affect the structure of the site.
You have a link to the live site with the problem?
A solution would be to export the site in HTML format, then transfer it independently using a FTP client.
Master page content in the foreground.
Hey there.
I'm trying to set up a site so that the master page content above rather than the content of each page.
I found this; Adobe Muse help | Working with Master Pages which says I should be able to right click on the mandatory content of the page master in design mode and select "move to > Master in the foreground '.» I can't seem to find this command anywhere in the Muse or any method at all to display content from master to the foreground.
I use the latest version (2014.3) perfectly up-to-date.
Am I missing something or has this functionality changed in newer versions of Muse?
Can someone point me in the right direction?

With the release of Muse version 5.0.704 on June 17, 2013, the layers Panel replaces the foreground/background master functionality delivered as part of the release of Muse Q1.

You can use the "Layers" feature to achieve this. Add the contents of the header of the page master to a layer and PIN. Add content to an another layer/s. Then bring the layer content header at the front.

I am faced with the task of remapping on a thousand web pages to a Dreamweaver template. Each of these pages has three main areas that should be maintained in the new model page. Here's the page metadata block and the title in the < head > section and the contents of the body section. I had not thought about extensions and it is even possible to record a few sequences of simple commands to simplify the process. I did not write the extensions but it seems an interesting exercise and something I should try at any given time to improve my skills in Dreamweaver.
It is looking as if the feature model in Dreamweaver cannot directly support y attach a template to an existing document while retaining elements or content of the document in the process.

One of you did, THANK YOU, and now I want to go back the page assigned to my local workspace. I tried to export the page and got a sql file on my local machine. When I tried to import it, I got an error:
This page has been exported from another application or application in the different workspace. Page cannot be installed in this application.
Then I exported the application full apex.oracle.com (an abridged version of my original CD) and it imported successfully to my local workspace. I then exported fixed a problem page, deleted the page of my original app (there were the same number of page) and I tried to import it. I got the same error when importing.
How to get the beautiful new and well functioning page again in my original application?

Page level import/export using the App Builder is possible between separate instances where the request and workspace have the same ID.
It can be done in SQL * Plus, or using SQL Developer apex_application_install API, but generally it is easier to simply import the entire application and copy the page between applications. To a page in the application, select Create > new page as a copy, copy the apex.oracle.com application page.
Including a picture of the Page content in an ePub - using InDesign CC
Previously, when I used InDesign CS6, including a table of contents (TOC) in an ePub page was very easy. Unfortunately, the process no longer works with InDesign CC.
An error message appears when I exit the ePub. It says: "Please update TOC with option is anchored text in paragraph source activated.» I made this change to my documents and it still did not fix the ePub resulting.
If anyone can offer a suggestion on how to resolve this error, I would really appreciate it.
This seems to be yet another new "downgrade" subsequently CC . It amazes me how there are different problems with the various applications of CC . I'm getting closer to my decision to cancel my subscription to CC and return to CS6 products much more reliable (and stable) in my Adobe Master Collection.

Yes, it's a frustrating problem. Since you have rebuilt your table of contents, then the other possible explanation is that you have to be built over a history of OCD that you forgot to update and she was part of the export, or you have copied the contents of the history of OCD and stuck in a TOC non-story that belongs to the export.
What happens behind the scenes is - this - before CC when InDesign generated the table of contents it was to simply attach a hyperlink to the page number in the table of contents - which was sufficient for PDF Hyperlinks work. Specifically, there is no backlink to the SOURCE of the entry of table of contents, just a reference to the page on which it is.
In the CC update (I forget which now), we've added more information during the generation of the table of contents entry - in addition to the link to the page that was there before, we add also some special information that allows to recover the source paragraph. It is the lack of information on an older table of contents page number that triggers the error string.
You are to ignore it, with the result that you will find a page number entry that is not issued as a hyperlink. Unfortunately there is no easy way to try to find this stray entry otherwise than to try to keep trim your export shown down until you isoliez story/content is guilty.
Now, the idea that the CC updates regarding the EPUB represent a downgrade is ridiculous! Clearly, you have no idea of the two years of work that went from EPUB in CS6, but why should you? Certainly make us easy to find.
You gave me a good excuse, I thank you, for reminding people about 3 papers that I wrote describing all changes made to each update since the CS6 which should put the rest no idea that CS6 is a safe port, regarding the EPUB working at least.

Export pages to jpg with custom file names

I found - and slightly modified - this script that exports each InDesign page in jpg format, naming it with the relative page number.
I need to assign the value of a text that I have placed on each page, which is decorated with a paragraph called "filename" style file name
It would also be good to have user-friendly web file names, replacing spaces with dashes and turn them into tiny.

Lack of check file naming rules.
I just got a new Dell with the 64 bit version of windows 7 Home premium. I downloaded firefox and it worked perfectly fine. Then after that it updated, it does not work. He will take care of some of my favorites, but not completely. Some sites like youtube load very well. Other sites Web support right or not at all. When they load it displays the content encoding error. Whenever I try to look for something with google, search results never appear. None of the fixes worked troubleshooting.
One possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or limits Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

Photosmart printer C410b: Printer will print but no black page content
When I print pages from my computer, if the content contains written/fabric black, it will be omitted when the page is printed. I changed both cartridges are black in the printer two times just in case one of the cartridges was / were defective but the problem still remains. I cleaned the print head and did a print test and all come back fine but the fault remains. Printer says ink levels are OK also. Hard to know what is causing this problem and how to fix it.
