MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_KEY_PINNING_FAILURE &; non-secure message
Hello
I am not able to access the https://pixabay.com/ I get the message above (bar question) showing. After checking the Q & A I tried to delete the file cert8.db then restart Mozilla, no joy. I'm a little reluctant to do an update as I'm not sure how it would affect my system? I'm not that computer! I did a check SSL & so their server & info bar url is returned as A +.
Around the same time, I now also can not access https://personofinterestdiscussion.com/ I did a SSL check & who came with vulnerabiities. (I've taken note of some if necessary). Their overall safety rating is F - capped at C grade. I have not made any changes to my recent laptop (Windows 7) & have had no problems with access to a site until a couple of days & I don't know what to do to get back on the two. I have anti virus, anti spyware, anti malware installed without any problems, etc. also protection of Mozilla site. I scan my laptop everyday. It came so suddenly & I really want to come back on both sites, so any help would be much appreciated. Thank you! :)
Thanks :) FredMcD & tons
When I first came online today, I tried again the site of PoI and got the same result if then I clicked on 'Advanced' which I was led to a message saying that there is a problem with their certificate, although ' the test says SSL certificate is valid until 2019? I had sent the owner & they sent a link that led me to "exceptions" so I changed the 'permission' and now I can access the site again, but with Mozilla showing a grey padlock with orange exclamation point. Notice the gray white shield says it blocks some parts of the page that can't be secure (pictures)...
Tons... the two links in the support column showed green.
I hope you don't think I was a waste of your time and a complete jerk! I am so grateful to you for your patience & your help & knowledge sharing, which hopefully will help me in the future become more literate in PC! Thank you very much. :)

Printer works fine on the unsecured network, but doesn't connect on the secure network. Poster Network Setup page everything is OK on both configurations, wireless network Test report displays all is OK on both networks.
When I put my laptop and HP 4500 wireless to my non-secure network, they work very well together. When I put to my network all secure check them reports are fine, but printer will not see the laptop. Printer icon displays a yellow triangle but autofix does not help. No other PC running on the network.
Thanks in advance for any help.

What kind of security - WEP, WPA, WPA2? When you reconnect the printer, you must remove and re-add the printer in your control panel:
1. make sure the printer is on and connected to your network. Verify that you can access the printer's internal web page by accessing its IP address before continuing. Get his IP address for a network Test printed on the front of the printer.
2. click on > start > Control Panel > devices & Printers.
3. click on add a printer
4. Select local printer
5. Select create a new port and select Standard TCP/IP Port, and click Next.
6. under device type, select TCP/IP Device. Under the name of host or IP address, enter the IP address of the printer. Click Next.
7. Select Hewlett-Packard in the list of manufacturers and select and select your printer model. Click Next.
If your printer model is not in the list, then select disk provided, browse the CD that came with your HP printer and select the first file begins with hp and ending with INF. click Open, then OK. Select your printer model. Click Next.
8. If prompted, use the driver that is currently installed.
9. He will ask the name of the printer - enter a new name or use the one existing. This will be the name of the printer that you select from other applications.
10. we may ask you to share the printer. Choose No.
11. the printing area of Test Page is displayed. Go ahead and print it out.
12. click on finish. -
Firefox blocks some ads (non-secure content)
I noticed since the update 41 Firefox crashes some adsense ads from time to time, but not always.
When this happens Firefox displays an icon on the PlayBar to address
"Firefox blocks the content of this page.
and
"Unsafe content. If I run Firefox in safe mode, I still get the same problem. The pages are served over http, not https if it matters. I can't disable protection manually and it works, but I wonder if this is a problem with some insecurities ads by Google, or Firefox incorrectly reports certain advertisements as non-secure.
OK - http://www.gstatic.com - is a non-secure server and Firefox do not have mixed content like this on a page secure otherwise.

Non-secure Jabber login?
Greetings!
I had a devil of a time using my iChat since the last update.
I get the prompt on a non secure Jabber connection. Then he said: my password is not valid.
Help!
I tried to reset passwords, signature/signature outside. I tried to remove some Keychain passwords.
Nothing seems to work, and I miss my cat.
Hello
It would help if we knew which Jabber server you are trying to connect to.
I find that a Google Talk ID, I used since iChat 3 sign is no longer using the SSL protocol and will always yield a nonsecure connection.
This is despite me setting the element 'insecure Apps' at Google and by changing the name of the server and setting the Ports and SSL on my Mac.
Something always seems to substitute for settings for the Autodiscover Port and the server that takes the parameter disable SSL.
IT seems that the name of the server is therefore more talk.google.com either.

How can I filter (send to trash) all non-English messages?
I have an overload of Oriental languages (Chinese) and Slavonic language (Russian or similar) emails.
I have a perfect world Thunderbird could filter all the non-English messages in my trash folder or block them.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thank you... filter them before they reach even my Inbox.
Next, you need to filter on the server. For example, Gmail offers a pretty good spam filter. Or you can use a third-party software running on your PC, filtering your mail before Thunderbird it is.
Both would be outside the scope of this forum. -

original title: problem pop up safety box
A couple of months, my daughter opened a video on utube. The screen on my laptop turned blue with white writing and the volume went crazy. Had to hold the close button. Since then, whenever I open a page, a security box appears telling me the page contains elements safe and secure, that I want to display the non secure items? I used for the display of this box on occasion, now it is on each page. I ran windows security and norton scans and both find nothing. Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem, because it drives me crazy. Thanks in advance
Hello Michelle,.
You have a virus, here's what you need to do. Download and install malwarebytes of: http://malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free, be sure to update before running a full scan. If you cannot run the program at all, you will need to download a few programs of this site: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix it, you should get back on track.
Also, you may have a browser redirection problem. Go to your IE tools--> internet options--> Connections tab, then click lan setting and make sure that the only box to checked in it is automatically detect settings.
Let me know if it works,
Jim

network/security problem
I have a problem connecting to the internet. A windows security message appears requesting a user name and password. I spoke with my internet provider and they say it's problems with windows. Administering the computer was an old laptop that isn't in use anymore so I can't change the admin settings. Is that what you can offer and do you need more information about me?
How you connect to the internet, dsl / comcast / wireless.
The installation disk of your ISP to the main computer, then put it to the top with a modem what ever, after that you can reload the disc of routers and probably have to reset the default password,
Once you get the configuration of your Internet service provider again then your router again you can re - enter the wireless or wired computers to the new network,

1 Firefox downloads. On the screen "opens Firefox 6.0.2.dmg. I chose "save file". It is saved in the downloads. I opened the file.
2. I move Firefox icon in the Applications folder. Message of the "Firefox.app' already exists in this place." I replace it. Copy of Firefox app.
3. next message is "updates available at http:www.firefox.com"
4. sometimes, I get message "you are using an insecure version."
Help, please and thank you.If he has problems with the update or the permissions then simpler is to download the full version and trash the version currently installed to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the file on the desktop DMG
- Firefox 6.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
- Trash the present application Firefox to do a clean (re-) install
- Install the new version you downloaded

Security message persistent downloading of email PDF files
Updates that you have installed the last week did not cause the behavior that you see, so don't "revoke" none of them! I think something was wrong already and install updates only the surface of the problem.
Translation: I never had someone to uninstall ("revoke") advise a security update. In other words, the computer must NOT be connected to the internet if KB2957689, KB2957503, KB2957509, KB2939576, KB2957189 and KB2926765 are not listed in the installed updates.
REPOST : Because the computer had a fully functional anti-virus application, installed for several years, there's a chance, but remote, you can see the effects of a 'hijackware infection' and that MSE has never worked correctly.
That being said...
Were the emails with PDF attachments sent by people using MS Outlook (not Outlook.com) as their e-mail client?
If you send an email and attach a PDF file that is saved on your hard disk, you see the same behavior when you open the message received?
If you uninstall Adobe Reader X (v10.1.10) and then perform a new installation of Adobe Reader XI (v11.07) [1] or Foxit Reader, the behavior persists?
=====================================================
[1] ATTENTION all pre-selected options for 'drive-by' install unwanted software, third party (for example, that the Google toolbar; Google Chrome)!Robear: OK, I'm not updates.
I can't really ask customers about how they do their email! I've collected PDF documents, I was recently and earlier, and some I downloaded from old newspaper web sites and sent them through several mail clients and browsers and they all show the same problem.
Your link to Adobe Reader 11.0.7 redirects to a page with 10.1.4 on it, a version earlier than the one I already had. He seems to think of Adobe, I don't deserve to have 11 because my OS is Vista. There are other sites that have, you recommend one, for example. FileHippo?

I have a HP Pavilion. HP upgrade BIOS two days ago. Today I've updated Windows 8 to 8.1. At the bottom right of the screen, there is a message that says: "Windows 8.1 SecureBoot is not configured correctly. Build 9600 ".
How to get rid of this message and why it is happening? I also upgraded a Surface feature and this was not the case; so I think it's a problem of HP. Anyone, please help.
I write this so that everyone can take a look is a document of Microsoft Support about this problem. The document entitled "" Secure boot is not configured properly"watermark on desktop" is linked below.
