MRP process more?

Hello

Could someone tell me if possible to have more process MRP works on a database of physical intelligence? If possible, how can I get more MRP process running?

Thank you
PTC.

Hello
The media recovery is a sequential process, and there is no point in having several MRP process.

  • The MRP process automatically standby DB

    Hi DBAs,

During an audit, I discovered that one of the preproduction that DB has diminished. After checking the logs could not find something that made the DB down.

So I started the DB primary and after who wanted to recover the day before DB.

    Here's what I did:

Following error occurs in file preprodDB alerts log and process MRP0 stops automatically and the recovery does not:

After starting the day before DB as a result of orders:

    SQL > bootable media.

    ORACLE instance started.

    System Global area 1.0689E + 11 bytes

    Bytes of size 2240984 fixed

    Size variable 1.0657E + 11 bytes

    268435456 buffers of data bytes

    Redo buffers 55267328 bytes

    Mounted database.

SQL > ALTER DATABASE RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE to the CURRENT HELP LOGFILE DISCONNECT FROM the SESSION.

    Database altered.

After that, I saw the alert logs and found DB automatically cancels the recovery with the rest of the error logs:

    Hello

    One of the causes of incompatibility of the incarnation may be the activation of the day before. Please make sure you that your database pending is in mode ensures to some database_role of V$ database;

Second, the incarnation reset dose not require the archives to apply. However, you must ensure that there is no space archive doesn't exist. Since transport archives of primary db then all archives must come from incarnation 2 in standby mode.

No idea how fix the problem and restart the MRP process.

    Thank you...

    Hello

You must add the disk to the /oracle file system. It seems that there is not enough space to extend the data file.
After the addition of disc, you can restart the recovery with:
ALTER DATABASE RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY BASE DISCONNECT FROM THE SESSION.

    or

You can move your data undotbs2_01.dbf file to another file system that has enough space, that
    ALTER system set standby_file_management = manual scope = mΘmoire;
    change the database file rename ' / oracle/folder/undotbs2_01.dbf' to ' / new_fs/undotbs2_01.dbf ';
ALTER system set standby_file_management = auto scope is mΘmoire;.

    then start the recovery.

  • in newsgrps have more than 1 million no read and not downloaded files-Clean Up does not.

in newsgrp, have file w/over million posts not downloaded, someone, long ago, I suppose. So far, I could post & clear, shows, all were read. But more vccan can't post. I tried the Clean Up program, but who does that for downloads, these have not been downloaded. I would like to remove this file newsgrpup and re-subscribe as a new post, I can not just delete, delete or clean all including messages NOT DOWNLOADED.  Can help you, or what you do more need I haved XP SP 3. Thank you

Unsubscribe the newsgroup. In tools | Options | Read, uncheck the box: get x headers at a time. Close and open OE and re-subscribe. This will download all messages on the server of the discussion group.

Now, if you just want these days, or so to create this rule before downloading.

Tools | Message rules | News.

Box 1: Where the message was sent more than days ago
Box 2: Delete it & stop processing more rules
Box 3: Click on 'Days' and choose the desired number of days.
    Name the rule.

When you go to, or subscribe to a discussion group, it will download only the messages for the number of days that you have selected.

Now you should be able to use catch-up for messages not downloaded.

Opinions on this vary, but in tools | Accounts | News | Properties | General, I include this account when checking for new messages checked. When OE automatically checks the e-mail (but often you defined for), it will also download all the new messages at the same time.

  • MRP planned creation not arrested for demand of component discrete job

    Hello

We have recently made a change to our "All the provisions" MRP setup to "Supply & Demand calendar only items" in order to reduce the MRP process, time of execution.  Our parts are a mixture of these two Planning MRP/MPP Min/Max and.  We did a comparison of the orders planned between the two configurations and have noticed that planned orders are not generating some expected MRP/MPP components (necessary for a discreet MRP/MPP scheduled work) under "offers and request it only calendar items.  We currently charge an SDM as an entry for the MRP.

What are the possible problems that cause a difference in identification of demand for discreet task between the two configurations? Attached are screenshots of our configuration load copy merge and MRP.

    Kind regards

    Malcolm

    Hello

Looks like that the discrete work of MRP/MPP planned items is not part of demand or supply schedule and has not any application associated with it. can you please add this parent to MDS and check if the components are planned.

Alternatively, you can verify if this discreet work has been created manually. If Yes, try to set the closed flag to work and check.

    Best regards

  • Sleep will not go into MRP

    Environment:

Oracle 11.2.0.3 EE on Solaris 10

I have a database of pending that I can't seem to find the MRP.

After launching the "change recover managed standby database disconnect log file using current;  archived logs are not applied.

When I re-editing the command expecting to see a message about the database being already MRP, I get a "database changed".

The log files are present and which have been applied successfully in the same directory as all the other files.

It has place in all directories.

Primary continues to send log files so no problem of communication.

I cancelled MRP and restarted several times without success.

I bounced the eve database several times without success.

I am in the MRP process and need to catch up as soon as POSSIBLE.

    All suggestions are welcome!

Please let me know what other information you need.

Thank you very much in advance!

Well well, this is a strange.  I found a resolution and the question, but it seemed pretty hidden.

It turns out that I have copy me manual some files archivelog from the primary to the wait, I moved one of the 'scp' landing directory files a little too fast and apparently did not get the entire file.

When I re-copied the file to the directory of the landing and restarted the MRP, the process took off again.

I had looked in the newspaper of the alerts, the trace files, manually saved files, bounced the day before, etc, etc.

Nowhere has seen any sort of error message indicating a corrupt file or whatever it is indicated what could be the error.

I hope that it might help others.

If anyone knows where error messages would have been hidden, please let me know.

    Thank you!

  • Adding a folder zipped to the project, not sure of the process.

DVDs and I wanted to add a folder zipped containing the content in mpeg2 format so that users were able to enter the folder, unzip it and keep a digital copy of the video/pictures.  Unfortunately, once again done with transcoding/writing, he of the disk write-protected.  I'm new in yet, and I'm not sure of the process more efficient, so I was wondering if I could:

    (1) add the folder to the procedure, so once the writing has been done there is the VIDEO_TS folder and the zipped folder "Digital Content".

    (2) change an option that would not immediately hand writing and eject the disk, so when transcoding and writing was done, I could add the folder and then finalize the disc.

    (3) add the folder on the disk before you start construction again, and once the build completed two files would be there.

Thanks in advance for the help!

What you're looking for is the content of DVD ROM and simply navigate to the location of this folder on your HARD drive, before to burn to disc.

  • shorten .fla development process

    Hi all

I'll try to do a small site with flash.  I'll try to make it look like what the cosmos (solar system, or maybe the moon landscape).  a planet will be a button, which will take me to another page who plays another film, etc...    and in the end, I'm hoping to get a few items on the page to query some mysql dbs, I already put in place.

I don't know flash very well at all.  in fact, just today I was looking at some film top of lynda.com tutorials.  I'm not surprised at all with what I've seen, and it's what I expected.  It seems that flash is really a process more complex and time consuming to create a html simple, even a dynamic Web site.

I watch the tutorials and trying to think of ways to shorten the process of development, learning the ropes, etc.  One of them showed how to use a movie, even with a current picture clip, looping and this gave me the idea that there must be other ways too, to shorten it, or use a few tricks to get what you want more quickly.

I'm using CS5, which I've had for a while now, but my question is: if flash is made up of many components and process as adding photos, adding images, sound, keyframes, etc., what kind of things can I do to get what I want, or close to what I want faster?

The things I already know how to do, of course, are things like browsing the web for images of the solar system, audio files, etc., so I can't create those things myself.  Does anyone else here have more suggestions on this?

I know that I'm stuck with the apprenticeship program myself and obviously it must be done.   Any suggestions on how to speed the process of learning and other, or even suggestions on what is most relevant and irrelevant in the flash program would be extremely helpful!   For example, many flash templates I see out there do not look complicated at all, to know that I took a few tutorials on the program and how it works a little (and how complicated things can get!).

    Thank you guys.

There is no shortcut in learning.  Before you can do something faster, he must be able to do it at all.  Flash may seem complicated to you because you are not familiar with it, but as a web design tool, it's not more complicated or a lot of time that working with html/css/javascript... it might even be less intensive than them these days.  Which can take a long time usually develops elements of animation, with or without code, but it's an aspect of Flash that you can't achieve with other technologies (like a less easily).   But like anything new, it's a mystery that requires time, effort and patience to be able to use it.  So your best bet is to strap and get to work.

    Vipin Hello,

It seems that your code requires more resources that are available on the FPGA. Optimizing your code can help to solve your problem:

You may have noticed some "Overmapping", mentioned in the newspaper:

I tried a simple piece of code to learn how to acquire the data that is generated on the FPGA at a rate of 10 KHz and transfer it to the host VI to treat later in offline mode. Hey,.

Have you already tried to reduce the size of the FIFO memory?

  • Parallel recovery in RMAN?

    O.S: OEL 5.5

    DB version: 11.2.0.3

    Hello Experts,

I have some doubts on the recovery RMAN. I would like to know your opinion of experts.

    (1) process that performs the RMAN recovery (just as the MRP in standby).

    (2) I always thought that recovery is a sequential task. This thread (parallel recovery) saved my theory. However, I see RMAN commands likeRMAN>recover database parallel 4 . So what is the parallel option used for?

    (3) if the recovery is a sequential process, how can we have several MRP process on the side of Eve (PHYSICS: why recovery managed to reproduce so many slaves?) (Doc ID 885872.1).

Thank you very much in advance.

    Satya

    (1) so the "server process" began with the RMAN dealing with recovery too? Please correct me.

RMAN Utility is just a customer.

RMAN connect to the database and execute commands, all the work is done on the server side. Server database always process take care of backup/restore/recovery.

    (2) automatic channels is also used for the recovery and restoration? I always manually assign during the restore and recovery.

N ° auto-channel is reserved for backup and restore operations.

RECOVERY operation (aka Media Recovery) is different from the command RECOVER, because the execution process of recovery RECOVER command also trigger archivelogs of RESTORATION, and RECOVERY process apply that Redo on data files.

Recovery operation is managed by * parallel * parameters not automatic channels.

(3)'with the resumption of parallel media, these blocks of data are subsequently distributed evenly to all recovery processes to read into the buffer cache. "--> Does this mean that the recovery of the parallel media is intended to copy multiple blocks in parallel to the memory buffer uses cache ONLY. However, the recovery process (applying the vectors of change) is a sequential process? Please correct me

The writing is not all sequential process, but each block of data is retrieved sequentially.

Parallel media recovery, the database uses a 'division of labour' approach to allocate different processes at different data blocks while rolling forward, which makes the process more effective.

  • DataGuard at a standstill. Need help Kickstart.

    Hi all

I've implemented Dataguard between 2 servers (A primary and DR A1)

    A Dataguard - A1

    The situation is like this:

When dataguard does not work, when I do a "SQL > Select current_scn v database $;" on the two databases... Yvert on A1 numbers will be approximately 20000 less than a.

Recently, when there was a problem with the network, I noticed that the dataguard has stalled. (A1 is more than A 30000).

    * That's how I kickstart the dataguard and update the RCS for A1, so that there are 20,000 to a.

I transfer the rman backup and controlfile A to A1 and then restore the backup.

    * Sometimes the dataguard does not start.

Now my question is, is any way for me to kickstart the dataguard without going by? *

and what kind of orders can I actually use to recharge A a1 archivelog transfer?

    Thank you.

If you have available on primary archivelogs, oracle can grow automatically to standby mode. If you see a number of weak sequence in that primary sleep mode, you can restart the MRP process.

    ALTER database recover managed standby database cancel;

    modify the recovery of database managed standby database disconnect from the session;

above are the generic commands. to restart the mrp process vary depends on the mode of dataguard you use. I know what mode you use to dataguard?
