Multi Slide Slider control is sucking cycles cpu

This is a control (see attachment) it is simply in the presence on a façade sucks 25% cpu on my machine.  She seems to be the 3 slider slide that is causing the problem.  I find that I can replace the control (it starts as a Horizontal Point silver slide) and he moved up to the next time that the vi is still loaded into memory.  Anyone seen this before? FYI - I created this control so that it appears as a data type of cluster with 3 digits, the first being the visible cursor, which is the present value, the second digital being the lower limit and the third being digital upper limit.

Found a solution!  The problem was caused by coloring the first two transparent cursors.  If I customize the cursor and move the first two sliders upward and out of Visual range it seems to calm down the cpu issue completely.

  • My slider controls when using Excel and Publisher became too sensitive

    My slider controls when using Excel and Publisher have become too sensitive and more often, don't do what it is that I'm willing to do.  For example: while in Publisher if I click on a photo, that I've inserted, and try to move it, it will automatically open the Format Picture option.  She does it with a number of other features as well.  If I'm in Excel and I'm trying to highlight a phrase, it will begin to highlight the requested sentence, then the middle of it will stop after the sense that I'm going with my cursor and it will pass at the end of the sentence.  I guess you could say this kind of "jump" and the mouse became too sensitive with the controls.  It's really frustrating and it feels like it has a mind of its own.  At first, I thought maybe a low battery mouse, because she was the way she does when the battery is dying.  Changed the battery and no change.  I also tried to set my mouse speed and still nothing.

    Any ideas?

    Oh and btw this just started to happen during the first 4 to 6 months.

    Hi H.Morton,

    1. the problem occurs with excel and publisher?
    2. what operating system do you use?
    3. did you uninstall and reinstall the mouse drivers?
    4. have you tried with another mouse and check?
    5. do the mouse has a selection of sensitivity on the mouse itself?

    I suggest you to update the mouse drivers and see if that helps.

  • Handle mouse up on digital slider control - even when the mouse leaves the control.

    I have a stumper here:

    I have a slider control digital I want to reset to 0 when the user released the mouse button when you drag the control - sort of a physical joystick response where the stick back toward the Center by releasing.

    I am able to be a part work by managing the mouse event and setting the value of the control to 0. But the mouse never an event only occurs if the user drags the slider control and leaves the cursor of border control - and release the mouse when the pointer is out of control. In this case, the value of the slider is preserved and the mouse an event doesn't happen ever regarding the digital slider.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Try using the pane-> mouse event to the top instead.

  • Black box around since Dev Alpha 10.0.9.2320 Slider control updated

    I upgraded my Dev Alpha 10.0.9.2320 yesterday, and since then, the bbUI.js slider controls have a black box around the control.  I have attached a picture of my app on before the update and after.  The same thing is present in the samples of bbUI.js, as the example of cursor has a dark background, it is more difficult to see.  It doesn't go with the wave, the device.  Is this a bug or do I need to change something?

    Ryan, it's the same for me.  Try to catch the last bbui of github code, and then build your application again and it should be fine on the new version of the OS from yesterday.

  • How to remove the decimal value (. 00) of the slider control

    Please ask me how to remove the decimal value (. 00) of the slider control and Add (if possible) % in after effects cs6.

    I guess you mean to animate text with a slider.

    Add a slider (options for expressions) to your text layer and then add this expression in your Source text:

    x = Math.Floor (effect ("Slider Control") ("Slider"));

    x+" %"

    That's all

  • Control of the expression / Slider control works with the percentage?

    For example, I want to do something with keyframes, so opted to use "regulator toslide ," but is now defined by the "cursor", if I put the wiggleexpression (2.5) and place 2 on the regulator to behind the scenes, knowing that the value will be replaced by the value of "slider" so in the case of the control slide was "10". , would look like this: wiggle (10.5)

    But I want to know is if the control of the expression of origin by a percentage and not a replaced, for the value of the slider control.

    Thank you!

    If the amount of your max value is set, then by creating the cursor to drive the percentage of this number requires a few simple calculations.

    Degree of accuracy desired percentage to be hover would require a small change that in mathematics.

    This example allows you to animate a percentage of '2' frequency (maximum value) in agitation, but allows the range '5 ': stay

    mV = 2; maximum value

    PERC = (effect ("Slider Control")("Slider")/100);  makes a percentage since the slider value by using 0-100

    Wiggle(MV*PERC,5)

    explanation:

    There are several ways to do so.

    The slider is unlimited, so you can define OTHER rules in your expression, but to keep it simple:

    You must multiply your maximum value of your "perc."

    However, we want to transform the number 'perc' in a fraction.

    A simple way is to divide the amount of cursor by 100.

    Multiply your max value with the result of your cursor (/ 100) and you have your percentage.

    (* You can use fractional numbers to animate instead of this, but the cursor is easier to control in this way.)

  • Demon NTP using a lot of cycles CPU

    My MacBook Pro (early 2011) running OS 10.11.4 fonctionnee hot and slow recently.  I turned on Activity Monitor and ntpd (the demon of time network) is constantly to consume 12 to 15% of cycles CPU.  I found an article on the stack Exchange, who said that if you see activity like this on your NTP daemon, it could be a sign that someone used a DRDoS attack.  They suggested defining the demon NTP to refuse incoming network connections - which I do not know how to do.  (I'm on Mac OS firewall).

    I took a sample of activities ntpd.  It's a little hyperactive beast.  The ratio is about 2 ½ pages long during only a short excerpt.  I can paste the report into this thread if it helps.

    But my real question is: is it normal that ntpd to be so active?  If this sounds abnormal, how can I get the little beast under control?

    In case it will help, here is the report of the sample of activity that the activity monitor took of ntpd.  Of course, it seems that he is busy, if all this has to do is sync with a network time service.

    Please suggest tool use ability to control host and VMs CPU, memory resources. What are the parameters to be monitored, their level of thresholds.

    What is the TOP / ESXTOP.

    Hi friend

    Here's the blog post detailed ESXTOP:

    http://www.yellow-bricks.com/ESXTOP/

    There is a VCOPS product that can also help you to understand so many parameters. You can try the license of the Foundation which is free of cost. There is a lot of intelligence if you go for paid VCOPS.

    VCenter graphs/stats can also help you as well.

  • Archive maintenance brakes not getting enough cycles CPU

    That is the message in the logfile etc on one of my knots in a configuration of two cluster for content server.
    12:16:54.480 05.05 (internal) Archive lock Thread maintenance archive is not getting enough cycles CPU.

    Should I be concerned, and if that's the case, what is the solution for this problem?

    Thank you, Ken

    The message says that the system of the content server is on (because of the content server or other applications) is so busy doing either one.) CPU use b.) Too much disk activity (space for Exchange, readers of network files, etc.) that the lock held by a thread "heartbeat" cannot get enough time to keep its lock in a reliable way. The problem is surprisingly easy to create on some systems just by starting a bunch of copies of the great repertoire, while the content server is busy.

    A scenario typical where I see that happen is when someone starts a couple of simultaneous batchloads, contained refinery running aggressively and made a lot of check-in. It will also tend to occur more often on load balancing servers. It is usually a good idea to increase some of heartbeat timeouts in balancing environments if the network shared by the server file system is not a file system performance WITHOUT style.

    I don't know if you use this variable of the whole (ArchiverDoLocks = true), but here's some information about it:

    Set to true if you want to auto imports or transfers with more content server then shares an instance. This option enables an algorithm of locking on files to archive at the file system level. If one instance is automatic imports or transfers in a load-balanced configuration, this indicator should not be set to true.
    So I would say that, no, you don't need it if you do not archive on multiple servers

    At the end of account, if you do not no matter what archive between multiple nodes you don't need the
    ArchiverDoLocks = true - try to remove that and see what happens.

    I hope this helps.

  • Mix volume slider controls appear on the screen and interfere with internet and other functions.

    Without warning, that controls Volume slide bar appears on my screen fluctuating levels as I was changing the volume/bass/treble level. This stops / blocks everything I do on the laptop such as typing, internet, turn on my connection 'Wireless', turns on volume mixers (I keep off) and stops my typing. It will last for varying periods of time, and then everything returns to normal. It happens on or off the power of the internet, wired or wireless.

    Played HP scan & all checks on okay scanned for all to implement. Everything is up-to-date.

    Hello

    Unfortunately there is no firmware update for the capacitive on your particular model - instead, try the following.

    First of all, download and reinstall the utility to control the tone of HP on the following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp45501-46000/sp45617.exe

    When you are finished, stop the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

    Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

    This makes a difference in the question?

    Kind regards

  • Slider control

    Hello

    I try to control a composition with an object null with a cursor associated with the opacity of the composition

    If (thisComp.layer ("null control slide") .effect ("mouth") ("Cursor" == 1) 100 0 otherwise)

    What's wrong with this script? I always this alert: anticipated :).

    Thank you

    Of course, it doesn't work as well.

    But the correct code is:

    If (thisComp.layer ("null control slide") .effect ("mouth") ("slider") == 1) 100 0 otherwise;

    Thank you for your help

  • Zoom slider control

    I worked on a project that uses a mapping and a zoom control:

    http://www.handprintwebdesign.co.UK/coverage/coverage3/coverage3.htm

    At the moment the graphics of zoom are fixed, but would be good if we could possibly use something to indicate at what zoom level is currently displayed, such as the cursor on the weather map on the BBC Weather site:

    http://News.BBC.co.UK/weather/forecast/10209

    Pointers much appreciated.

  • Range of adjustment for the Slider control

    My script is 99% complete, but I'm just a finishing touch that seems to be just out of my reach...

    A script adjustable Slider range for control of cursor, and if so, how?

    As far as I know, there is no way to do it with a script.

  • Graphical slider controls

    On the order of the bar graph (the diamond cut 4 that appears with the caption of the slider), I wonder what the high and the low diamond so do anything. Left and right who are simple, enough (front or rear a sample), but up and down those who do not seem to do anything from what I can tell. They are just for decoration?

    If your cursor is a free (non-type conspiracy) a few keys Up and Down, move the slider up and down.  If there is more than one location, I think that these buttons can move the cursor on the lines above and below ground.

  • View the results of a slider control

    HI, I'm suggling on this pl/sql, because I just started learning a few weeks ago. Basically what this pl/sql is check

    in my article "the time" to see if any time is not in the current time format and if it finds one it should display only and then someone can go and check.

    Firstly this my_table has 3 different columns which makes it the primary key, so I need display the columns so that the administrator can find the

    incorrect data easily in the time column.

    These 3 columns that actually the primary key are 'sid', "setid" and "sentry".

    I have created a slider and possesses the top loop to check all the my_table data but I do not know how to dmbs_output

    all results at once. In the results, I need to display all the columns in key primary and thus 3 under and this column that the data is.

    IF SQLCODE =-01858

    THEN

    Dbms_output.put_line (-);

    Can someone help me please.  Here are my codes

    DECLARE

    v_result varchar2 (4000);

    v_key1 varchar2 (10 byte);

    whole v_key2;

    whole v_key3;

    cursor c_get_times

    is

    SELECT sid, setid, Sentinel, time FROM my_table;

    c_get_times_row c_get_times % ROWTYPE;

    BEGIN

    TIMES a c_get_times LOOP

    v_key1: = times.sid;

    v_key2: = times.setid;

    v_key3: = times.sentry;

    SELECT TO_DATE (times.time, "HH24") IN v_result FROM my_table;

    END LOOP;

    OPEN c_get_times.

    LOOP

    EXTRACT the c_get_times in c_get_times_row;

    EXIT WHEN c_get_times % NOTFOUND;

    END LOOP;

    EXCEPTION

    WHILE OTHERS

    THEN

    IF SQLCODE =-01858

    THEN

    Dbms_output.put_line ();

    ELSIF SQLCODE =-01851

    THEN

    Dbms_output.put_line ('invalid value for minutes");

    ON THE OTHER

    Dbms_output.put_line (' failed with another unknown error: ' |) SQLERRM);

    END IF;

    END;

    If you can create the object in your schema, create the function below and the race below query it will give a correct result. I think that's the test objective you ask, otherwise do not use DBMS_OUTPUT. Just create the function and run the select statement.

    FUNCTION to CREATE or REPLACE date_chk (p_value VARCHAR2, VARCHAR2 p_format)

    RETURN NUMBER

    AS

    v_val1 NUMBER (10);

    T_DATE DATE;

    BEGIN

    T_DATE: = TO_DATE (p_value, p_format);

    RETURN 1;

    EXCEPTION

    WHILE OTHERS THEN

    IF SQLCODE =-01858 THEN

    RETURN 0;

    END IF;

    END;

    SELECT the sid,

    SetID,

    Sentinel,

    timeval

    OF test_time

    WHERE date_chk(timeval,'HH24:MI') = 0;
