Muse generate ASP.

Adobe Muse can generate ASP instead of PHP? I want to use reCAPTCHA widget and generate the ASP to be used in IIS. I will download using Sharepoint Designer 2013. My strong guess is that Adobe Muse does not support ASP pages depending on the treatment.

Hello

Unfortunately it is not possible at the moment. You can use any third-party Web Form that allow you to customize the exit code for IIS

Let me know if you have any question.

  • Muse generated at the new site import site

Hi... I have a good friend who has recently been ripped off by a web developer who serves as Muse to build the site. She managed to get hold of the source files. I installed Muse, but never used it... I am a web coder who mostly just raw HTML codes, I want to open its site in my request for Muse, but obviously did not get the required project files. Is there a way to generate the site based on the existing site?

    Hello

Unfortunately, it is not possible to convert the existing HTML and files related to .muse. Adobe Muse file with extension .muse for you need to edit the site.

As you already have all the source files, you can try code editors, such as Dreamweaver or media to change the site.

  • Is it possible to edit the HTML in a site of Muse generated in British Colombia?

I want to edit the HTML code that is generated in British Colombia, so I can move the JavaScript in the header and the body.  What is safe or not recommended?  If I bumble I can still download the site of Muse and crush my mess.

    Hello

It is not recommended, but yes, you can make changes in British Colombia.

These changes will not merge in your file of Muse.

In addition, you must make sure that all links (Menu, links to JS and css are updated on each reference page)

And if you're wrong, you can publish the site again in Vancouver to overwrite the changes.

  • Kinda weird Muse-generated site map

    Hey there,

When I look at the site map that creates the Muse for my page, I'm a bit confused, as it seems totally weird. It seems to be just a list of images without any structure.

With previous projects of Muse, I have not encountered this problem...

You can view the map of the site here: http://n90media.de/sitemap.xml

And here's a comparison how it looks with another project: http://stb-neunzig.com/sitemap.xml

The second site is indexed by Google corretly, isn't the n90media page.

Is there a way to fix this?

    Thank you!

I'd say it's a bug in how browsers make XMLs that contain nodes preceded by XML namespaces.

For similar pages (say print.html) that exist in the desktop and phone of "renditions", Muse link those together so that search engines will better understand the structure of your site. That being said, if you open the sitemap.xml generated by Muse with a text editor (not a web browser) and the search for print.html, you'll find something like this:

    http://kundenservice.n90media.de/n90media/print.html

    2015 01-04

    weekly

    0.5

    http://kundenservice.n90media.de/n90media/phone/print.html"/ >

The last child node in the example above ("the beginning by")

  • Can Muse generate a hyperlink for SMS on mobile devices?

I tried to format it as < IM: a phone number + > but it doesn't work...?

This is not standardized, so there is no foolproof way to make it work on all devices. Normally you just use the phone: Pseudo-protocole and hoping for the best.

  • images in double Muse

I am building a Web site with about 360 images in what I put there.

The entire site has more than 2300 images, most are small Muse generated jpgs and 8px small square square colored, rendered text in menus accordions for the selection of the page - if you click on a square to go to a page. It seems to me that rather than having just a few small places that reuses of each page, what I have is multiple images - one for each instance of something on every page - including the navigation on each page.

There are 80 odd pages and muse about 765 generated small squares that total more than 6 MB in the image folder. The menus are on 3 master pages, and each is identical (other things vary). Menus to take a while to load and I guess that's because they use somehow 6Mo to a value of small squares - how can I simplify this? The squares are background colors in the text without text box. It would be more logical to make the squares a fill of an image file, rather than a background color in the text box?

I wonder also why Muse would make the small jpgs places instead of png, for a single color tiny place, I would have thought would be a smaller file?

There are other items that I have repeated on each page via copying and pasting and each of them is in multiple too... they're all rendered text, but identical.

Is there an easy way to muse to use only a single instance of an image if it is repeated elsewhere - especially with those that it restores? I thought to replace the text rendered by one of the images generated through html, but this seems a bit laborious, I was expecting something more easy.

Thanks for your help, I hope this makes sense.

    See you soon

jpg is smaller than a png

template to reuse images... that's what a master's. example of Master A has your background colors (images) then Master B {a Master A as its master page} adds a menu bar and Master C is the next change. This design of the chain DASYE made Master used by every page of your site, because all the other Master pages link to it.

  • Muse creates a map of the site for you?

During one of Dani Beaumonts SEO best practices jam sessions, she said, that the Muse automatically creates a plan of

Google to research. I continue to check and Google does not have a plan for my site of Muse, Muse creates a sitemap?

I don't know where to look or how to fix the problem.

Muse does not create a site map for users. Muse generates the sitemap.xml file. You must add a link to the file in the Google Webmaster Tools. Absolute path looks like this http://your_domain.com/sitemap.xml.

  • linking directly from the page of the muse to the subdirectory outside the muse.

I have a Muse site with pages, assets, etc. to the normal root level. I have a subdirectory below the files, (root)/subdirectory/testpage.html, that have been downloaded to this subdirectory out of the muse.

I can set a link to subdirectory/testpage.html in a page of muse, and it is not marked as an error.

When I download the page the link works as expected and that it shows testpage.html

This is not documented anywhere I can find. Since it is not documented, if I use it in my site is likely to be removed in a future version? This is a feature not documented, or is he never considered a bug?

For the phrase it differently: this is the design philosophy of Muse "all that is not expressly prohibited is permitted" or "all that is not expressly permitted is forbidden"?

You can link to any valid address outside your site from a site of Muse generated, if permissions allow.

  • Muse Html structure

My question is very basic, I guess, I've been messing around with muse cc for about a week and I see some really good features... my question is once I have design and export the html may break the HTML in IE header foot and average section? php code add actual html code without problem?

You can change the code after you have draws in Muse, but be warned that the code is not very "friendly coding" and that it is sometimes difficult to decipher. Once you change anything in the code outside the Muse, you won't be as able to change anything in Muse.

As for PHP, Muse generates files .html, so your php would not work without changing all the file extensions of your pages and in any related code with the site. Yet once, you would lose any further integration with Muse.

  • Correction of errors in AChecker in Muse?

My Client uses IDI Web accessibility checker: Web accessibility checker to check my site, I built for them to ensure that it will be accessible with all the technology of the software/disability as screen readers once we publish this site Muse. Lauren,

    Please send your po file.

Muse generates a vacuum 'a' tag because you have a rectangle with a hyperlink on it behind a block of text with a link to this topic. I'll look into making a change in a future version of Muse to put something in the 'a' tag.

For now, you should be able to work around this problem by changing your site.

    1. delete the rectangle behind the text block

    2. Add your fill color and rounded corners for the text block itself.

3 you may also use the spacing Panel to set top padding of the page to get your text where you want it.

Here is a screenshot of the button that you need to change:

Who should avoid the void 'a' tag just the accessibility checker.

  • Maintain a file .htaccess custom and with the help of Muse

Muse continues to crush the .htaccess file

I read this post.  And it answers most of my question.  However, it does not provide a step by step description how block the Muse to try to crush a custom .htaccess file, or it does not explain what needs Muse in the .htaccess file. Also what file permissions should be to protect an existing custom .htaccess file while allowing a Muse to download the correction and to upload a .htaccess file, or simply block Muse of messing around with the .htaccess file and allow me to edit manual according to the needs.

I did some modifications to my .htaccess file to block traffic undesirable screwing with my analytics and he disappeared, replaced by a line of Muse associated code.  Now, I need to change more to have my domain using ssl. and to back up field blocking missing.  I fear that I will constantly overwrite my necessary custom .htaccess file and do not know it's being crushed, or why.

I'm not an expert in code so that dealing with the novice but intrepid level would be a good thing.  Usually, I use filezilla to download the site Web of Muse.

There are differences in the code that muse generates according to the output path.

File > export as HTML never generates the files .php for synchronized text and does not generate a .htaccess file. This path can also activate inbrowserediting.com.

File > Upload FTP host checks for PHP support and support for redirects via a .htaccess file and if both are available it will generate the files .php and redirects to support synchronized text (if the site uses synchronized text). She will write information on the site to allow inbrowserediting.com.

  • Integrate Wordpress Muse Export Page

I'm trying to understand how "embed" a HTML of Muse in a Wordpress page.  Muse is to create a very beautiful before and after the image slider that I included on Wordpress.  Muse generates an html, js, css, and other documents.  I don't know if the code can be made up, but I'd love to include this lovely one / slider b on my Wordpress page.

The export of Muse (test page) page is: ImageSlider.

The target page, showing the results with the wordpress plugin, as well as the Muse incorporated by iframe, html page is: http://marknicholasphotography.com/360-product-animations/

The iframe seems just quite awkward and difficult to manage.  The question is whether the export of Muse can be made sensitive.

Is there any help?  I am not good at coding and hope that there is a fairly simple solution.

    Thank you very much!

    Mark

As I said, all scripts must be in the structure of WP to be accessible from your blog. That can only be done if you have a native root via FTP or backend access to the web server or Admin Panel complete of WP for plug-ins and themes. To work around the problem, you may be able to set a custom on the server folder and empty your scripts here, but you will always be limited to the use of iFrames to embed your stuff. WP is rather strict / rigid in this respect to avoid conflicts with its own use of custom jQuery and CSS - if something is not loaded in the right folder, it will be simply be shot by internal wp_optimize a wp_sanitize of functions. or even not at all you might consider finding a theme or a plugin that has the cursor image integrated, then with a little copy & paste integrate your design, but it is still quite a task and obviously would be in Dreamweaver or other source code editors, no Muse.

  • Add Sitemap in Adobe Muse (was: site map)

How can I add sitemap on my site of Muse?  XML - Sitemaps.com

The site map for your site is generated: http://www.studiojoi.com/sitemap.xml

Muse generates sitemap for the export of the site but in case you want to add your own sitemap then as suggested by Vivek, use any FTP client and connect to your site and crush the sitemap generated with custom sitemap Muse.

Download any FTP client like filezilla, use the hostname in the site's domain, username and password the same as your server username and password. Once the files are listed, replace the old plan to the new sitemap site.

    Thank you
