  • Why my computer does not recognize my iPod when it is connected?

Whenever I plug my iPod into my computer, the trust option is not pop up, so it doesn't appear on my iTunes, all that says is, ' do you want to allow this computer to access your photos? I plugged my iPod on other computers and it works fine. I plugged into other devices on my computer and it works fine. In addition, my iPod would freeze at random just for no reason, and I don't know why. The time is all messed up as well, which means it switches at random times and time stops working if I turn of. It started a week ago and it's really annoying. Can someone please?

I also have this problem, iPod touch 5th generation iOS 9.2, but I'm under 10 64 bit Windows, I tried to uninstall and install itunes remove all plugins and services and there are no other programs interfering with itunes so don't know what to do, also tried to reset the ipod to factory settings as well. My computer recognizes it as an external storage device though if this is helpful at all.

  • Computer does not recognize the Ipod shuffle.

    original title: help!
I just bought a new iPod shuffle (4th generation), and when I connected it to my computer, it will not be displayed. And it let me sync any music. Does anyone know what I can do about it?

You must download and install iTunes to sync music to an iPod.

  • Windows does not recognize iPhone/iPod devices

I tried to add music to a new iTunes library to my iPhone on my pc when I accidentally pressed the notification "do not trust this computer."

I tried following the advice in this thread (removed the pilot): I accidentally hit "Do not trust" and now my iPhone won't sync to my computer. It won't ask me to trust him again even when I restart everything. Now what?

And now my computer does not recognize my iPod or my iPhone when I plug it into the USB ports. They don't even charge. I know with certainty that the problem comes from my pc because when I plugged them both in another pc, Lesmanteaux both able to connect to the computer/iTunes. I tried restarting both devices, tried resetting the location and privacy, by restarting the computer, even performed a system recovery.

When I go to "Devices and printers", the two devices are listed under Unspecified, Apple Mobile Device USB Driver, unknown category, troubleshooting needs (I tried that as well, when I do that it is said that all driver software is up-to-date)

Driver status: Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might be installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or maybe it's a malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)

All my software is up to date (iPhone, iPod Nano, Itunes 12.1. (2. 27 64-bit)

Please help me, I've got a flight tomorrow and all I wanted was to upload music.

Have you tried using different USB ports? Try and see if it triggers the question "confidence." You can also give your iPod a restart is forced. Press the sleep and home for about 20 seconds. When you see the silver Apple, let go and let it reboot, then try again.

If this does not work you can try something a bit more drastic. That's a lot of time, but not horrible. I had to do a few times with my devices and my computer.

Try this, go to your control panel, add/remove programs.

Remove iTunes (you won't lose any content not the program, I've done a few times), Mobile Apple, Apple Application Support device driver.

For good measure, you can restart your computer just to remove the cobwebs.

Then come out and redownload iTunes and reinstall it.

Plug your iPod in and drivers must be reinstalled.

All of your old info should be there. I've never lost anything. Essentially to remove iTunes and drivers have to reinstall fees, which can remove the obstacle 'I don't trust you. "

    Hello

MTP mode for WMP11 sync - mode MSC to treat the MP3 as a reader. So you have set up in the MTP.

Make sure that Windows is updated appropriately that there have been several USB updates.

1 check that the driver letters for them, for a player, if the drive of the default drive letter is changed, what is happening.
Mine was h: I added a device that took H: and the player stopped. So I put it back to H: and the other
device to J: and everything worked again. If necessary start - type in the area of research-> disk management find top
-Right-click on it - RUN AS ADMIN

Don't forget to remember the MP3 must be set to the PSG to sync with WMP, and meteorological service of Canada to copy and delete files
    and update the firmware.

If no joy follow these steps:

You may need a powered hub. (all the USB ports on your computer are not powered, often only 2)

    Try these:

    Make a Restore Point

Control Panel - Device Manager - click in the empty area - VIEW - show hidden devices

Here, your devices are the MP3 player.

Now look everywhere EXCEPT the USB controllers for your devices (cannot be found) and if you find
It RIGHT CLICK and UNINSTALL all.

now go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers in the category, but the category itself.

    APPLY/OK

    RESET

This refresh battery USB and hopefully it will allow the unit to install. (You may need a powered hub)

Here is the similar procedure under XP, Vista is the same, except that we need clear specific devices, as appropriate.

This is a utility to help you, but do 1 above.

USBDeview is a small utility that lists all USB devices currently connected to your computer, as well as all USB devices that you previously used. Run Options and check the 1st three choices to see if one is there.

You must remove all instances of the devices and restart.

  • I can't sync my iPod to Windows Media Player. WMP does not recognize the iPod and I can't drag music files between them

My iPod is connected to the computer and it works fine with iTunes.  But I can't get the music in Windows Media Player to iPod.  When I try to sync in Windows Media Player, it does not recognize the iPod, and I can drag files from WMP to iTunes or the iPod.

You cannot synchronize an Apple product in itself using WMP, unless you buy a 3rd party. You must use iTunes.

    See you soon,.

  • Computer does not recognize Toshiba external 500G HDD - HARD drive

Sorry, I use a translator, because all the illiterate

A year and a half used the hard drive, and now the computer does not recognize it, the TV too.
In Device Manager, it is there, but says "initialization error".

    What should do?
    Thanks for the replies

You have partitions software installed on the laptop you?
I guess that the HARD disk does not appear in windows Explorer, but common partition as the partition Wizard tool might be able to recognize the HARD drive.
You can try to format the HARD disk and to create the new NTFS partition.

    Another solution:
Usually, you can initialize the disk by DiskManagement.

In disk management, right-click the disk you want to initialize and then click on initialize disk.
In the dialog box initialize the disk, select the disk to initialize.
You can choose to use the master boot record (MBR) or the style of partition GUID partition table (GPT).

Once a disk is initialized, you can create partitions on it.
After you create a partition, you can format the partition to create a filesystem (NTFS).
