My computer is running hot whenever I play a game and stops

When I play a game on the computer as Witcher2, the computer runs hot and then stops when I turn on it shows he got hot at 90 degrees. Can I do to prevent that from happening. Thanks for any help.

Open your computer case and check that the fans are running when your computer is powered - in particular the fan on the processor on the motherboard.  If the fans are working properly, then get a can of compressed air and blow out the dust from the inside of the computer - especially around the CPU chip.  Dust can collect on components and act like a blanket that is causing the overheating of the computer.

I can't g ORetour in the game without a problem, it's just can be annoying to go to the office every 10-60 seconds

    Hello Ninja,

The game could minimize if one of the following conditions is true:

    ·         Applications that run on the mode full screen, including games may reduce if there are all the prompts on the message error or an update. Check to see if you get any prompt to install an update or an error message when the game reduced to a minimum.

    ·         Other programs running in the background can also cause the game reduced to a minimum. Check if no program or an application is running when you play the game.

You can also consider updating the video card drivers on the manufacturer's Web site.

I play a game and my internet stops running I don't know what to do about this.

You are using a WiFi connection?  How many bars you see?  If you have a weak signal (less than 4 bars), you can expect this kind of thing that can happen.  If you have a strong signal or that you are connected via an ethernet cable, you must contact your ISP Internet Service (ISP) to see if they can help.

    Good luck.

  • When I was playing the game and my 3D PC show the black screen and the sound of noise.

    Hi Admin,
When I was playing the game and my 3D PC show the black screen and the sound of noise. And then I can't move anything and I can restart only. What is this problem? I don't know why? Please help me what should I do.
My PC specs are as follows

Aspire M5800 (Q84MR375) Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium, 64-bit, Intel Core 2 Quad processor Q8400 (2.66 GHz, 4 MB L2 Cache, bus front at 1333 MHz), 3 GB Ram, 750 GB S - ATA HDD, DVD SuperMulti Double Layer drive, Nvidia GeForce GT220 graphics (1 GB dedicated RAM) card, Wireless LAN, keyboard and wireless mouse with LCD 23 '' monitor.

    phoechan,
More than likely if this started after you upgrade to Windows7 then you might have to update your hardware drivers.  Go to the websites of the manufacturers of hardware for your PC and get all the latest drivers for Windows 7 (video, sound, chipset, etc...).  If they don't have Windows 7 drivers you may have questions until they create them.  You can also try to boot your PC and also right click on the game .exe file and change the compatibility mode to Vista or XP.

Whenever I launch Fallout 3, it wont let me play for about 5-10 minutes (I timed havn't, but it seems to be pretty random) and then the computer will turn off by itself. It happens with some other games that I tried as well, but so browesing im internet or fun with a broweser-based game, everything will work fine as long as I'm leaving the computer or until I have play Fallout 3 or other games.

Oh! And I play the game on a bass-model system that has run the game using only basic graphics and it does not. This computer is high, along with the game and more than double its needs.

Also, I got the computer checked and re-checked carefully manually and with Norton antivirus, and everything is clean in all areas.

People have tried a number of things to fix it and who knows what will work for you. I will list what I found (in no particular order)

    • Reset your default controls
    • Reinstall .NET Framework (because Fallout 3 apparently installs a Beta version on your machine - which is just nasty)
    • Delete some/all of your saved games
    • Update your drivers
    • Update directX
    • Make sure that the value of transparency in low water
    • Make sure that the game is patched
    • Disable all mods
    • Update your audio driver (if the last update doesn't work, try the beta version if you feel lucky)

I wish there was something I could tell you, but it could be really huuuuge several things...

  • Whenever I play a game explore HARD drive go all wacky. Never seen this problem before today.

This NEVER happened before a few days ago. Don't know exactly when that I didn't play for a few days. I could alt tab off games, whenever I wanted to before that without any problems whatsoever.

Explorer keeps jumping from memory use normal and low of 10 MB and 30 MB, to the use of 500 MB, 1 GB, and slightly above, the use of half of my ram to 2 GB. Explorer goes from normal to that in a moment, when this occurs. That cannot be good. I just noticed that this happens when you do something more intensive you use Firefox or playing a video. First of all, I thought it was just when I alt tab out of any game, Mass Effect 2 in particular right now. When I alt label off ME2 it takes a few minutes for the drive to stop thrashing and to explore to stop using as much ram. Also, everything goes very very slow, virtually frozen since a few minutes. But I also tried a much much much less intensive game (Halo 1) and the same thing happens, it stops just less than a minute. It shouldn't happen even for a few seconds.

I just downgrade my GPU driver to see if he'll fix it (did not help) and I noticed the Explorer do the thing of the use of huge ram for a few seconds during the driver installation. That is how I know that it is not just about games as I thought initially. Also after I alt tab out ME2 after that I'm able to do things again once my HDD will always continue to do things for more than a few minutes. I watched the resource monitor to see which accesses the HARD drive. It seems to access many things unnecessarily. I have screenshots of the resource manager of the monitor and the task during the activity. Look at ways out of whack to me. If you need I can post a hijack this log journal and combofix.

or remove the unwanted program by pressing CTRL + ALT + DELETE, end the process of unwanted programs. Try this also.

Note: it is not recommended to have more than 20 MB of data on the desktop, you can have shortcuts for each file, however there should be no large files or executables stored on the desktop, as the computer reads the contents from the desktop to the start so that it starts before your home screen appears.

Repair the installation to change the product key to a release from the retail media.

However, you know that your Windows XP OEM license was just as scalable (on this unique system) as a license Windows XP retail... right?  Even upgrade path / price.

I assumed that the only way that helps you is now you can transer the license of the retail Windows XP to another computer later...  But nothing says you need to upgrade your current license of Windows XP OEM to retail level and then to Windows 7.

(BTW - upgrade to Windows 7 from Windows XP is a clean install.  You will install all applications again, restoring your data, etc.).

  • Windows 7 ult 64, play the game and watch movie

can someone please offer me a solution to this dilemma?

I recently bought a new computer, with quad core 3.4, win 7 ult 64 and want to really take advantage of the quadcore.

I would like to play call of duty as my wife is watching a movie on windows support.

at the moment I have on board sound and my motherboard has no video embedded if im using a nvidia 9400gt 1 GB

Do I need an additional sound card and a video card?

    I'd really appreciate any input!

    Thank you advance!

The key for a monitor is in windowed mode. 90% games today (and older games) have a very basic function called windowed mode. What it does is present the game in a window much like solitaire or windows media player.

The main problem is that you have a nvidia 9400 (which, if it is similar to the x 400 series should push the 2 monitors), who has an obvious lack of graphics power. Call of Duty 1 and DVD-quality video could be pushing.
