  Maybe your monitor power cable just a little monitor. Your power cable is defective. Most likely, your monitor has failed.

  Try these things:

  Push the hard power cable at the end of the screen.

  Make sure that it is correctly connected to the band output or the power of wall if you use one. Sometimes the stip outlets fail. Especially if it's a power strip really not expensive.

  Try to take only the monitor and power lead to another outlet. Turn on the monitor. If no led lights or the monitor does not light, then you have a defective screen.

  Theoretically the two parties may be affected: Notebok display or graphic card itself.

  Way simpler to check that connects to an external monitor. If the external monitor is ok, the graphics card is affected. Otherwise, the screen of the laptop must be exchanged.

• Computer screen turns off when I plug an HDMI cable

  Initially, I had both my tv and computer off. I plugged the dvi to tv and the HDMI to laptop and turned them both on. I had no problems using my laptop I tried to synchronize the computer to the TV. However I must have accidentally hit something in the graphics options as my laptop screen went black. I unplugged my laptop hdmi cable and the screen returns to the top. But now, for some reason whenever I plug the HDMI cable for the laptop, the screen goes black. When I take it on it the screen comes back to the top. I have something that is originally for this change? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

  My screen seems to have a loose fitting. It turns off when it is tilted back. Just a slight pressure to the back of it turns on again, and then turns off. I tilt it forward to keep it on. The computer stays on, just the screen turns white.

  2. do you get an error at startup of the computer?

  Check to see if the problem exists in Safe Mode, if the computer works as expected in mode without failure, then we can solve the problem in the clean boot state.
