  I beg of you.  Another tip.  If you use Hotmail from the Web site (which has been renamed Outlook.com), you can use the Archive button on the toolbar at the top.  The first time you use it, it will ask you which folder you want to move the messages archived at.  It should not be called "Archive".

  How did you check for malware? It certainly seems malware-ish. Here's my method to track down and clean the bad Add - ons and other hijackers. I know it seems long, but it's not so bad.

  (1) open the Control Panel, uninstall a program. After the loading of the list, click on the column heading "installed on" to group infections, I mean additions by date.   In the left column, click Extensions. Then, in case of doubt, disable (or delete, if possible) not recognized and unwanted extensions. Remember that all extensions are optional, none come with Firefox.

  Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.

  (3) check an optional parameters file called user.js in your profile (personal settings folder) folder. Firefox uses the settings in this file at startup to override your preferences since the previous session. Unless you have created this file, it may contains settings of an add-on or external software.   If you find a file named user but not user.js, Windows can hide the extensions of file on your part. To work with files as accurately as possible, I suggest showing all file extensions.   (4) you can search the rest of problems with scanning/cleaning tools listed in our technical support article: Troubleshooting Firefox problems caused by malware. These scanners on request are free and take a long time to run. If they end quickly, especially if they require the payment you have a serious infection. • File dialog will not open

  Recently, I tried to add an attachment to an email from Yahoo in Firefox.   Make sure that MS Word is not open, click the FixIt button, click on run and this program will set MS Word. When you open MS Word after running this program, you will be able to edit the files again.

  You have a program installed that can open pdf files, for example, Adobe Reader, Adobe Pro, Foxit Reader, etc. ?

  Assuming that you do - because you were able to open pdf files previously - maybe the file association is damaged.

  Right click on a pdf file, then choose open with > choose program

  If you see your pdf reader app that is listed, select it.  Otherwise, click on the Browse button and find the exe file and click 'open '.  For example, the exe for Adobe Reader is named AcroRd32.exe andtypically will be in

  C:\Program NN.n\Reader of Adobe

  After selecting the appropriate exe file, you should achieve the selection window.  Don't forget to check the box "Always use the program selected for this type of file", and then click OK.

He was extremely helpful and patient, and after the download of many updates (67), the system seems to work very well. I don't know what the cause was but will present Bravo to Mathew to support tech Surface for its helpfulness and professionalism.

• Windows 7, 64 bit.  Creating cloud of 2015.  Worked, received a notice of update available, now CC will not charge.  PS and LR both works.

  My CC 2015 notified me an update today, but then stopped.  PS, BR, LR all work.  CC does not load.  Not found in the open applications or process lists.
