My inDesign does not start

Hello!

Since Tuesday my inDesign decided to do no longer starts. I turned my computer off and back on it. I uninstalled inDesign and installed again.

Whenever I run the starting procedure, I get a message from the computer that says there has been a problem with the program and it must be closed.

Anyone who has the same problem or know how I can get more specific information about this type of problem it is?

All other applications works very well.

    Anyone know what is happening?

You need to install InDesign on a new computer without migrating from a backup computer or old from installation of Adobe.
And you must use a version that is compatible with the operating system on the new computer.

You have to disable InDesign from the old computer to be able to activate it on the new computer, or if you have not installed somewhere else you can activate it on the second computer.

But before make you your new computer, you need to first uninstall and rund the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool use the Adobe Creative Cloud cleaning tool to solve installation problems

    Ciao, Peter,.

Finally I got it! The problem was on the ID fields, where to load the application.

I have two monitor, managed by the nView Desktop Manager. So ID has been busy away from my office, I know not why.

But strangest of all, ID no was not shown in the application tab in the 'management of active processes.

So I disabled the Manager the nview and ID appear.

But it is a big bug ID, which Adobe has to manage.

Thank you very much for your help.

  • InDesign does not open

    Hello

I just run the update to 2015.3 CC Illustrator and Photoshop CC 2015.5. There is no update currently available for Indesign and according to my CC desktop application, Indesign is up-to-date. I use an iMac. InDesign does not open because I ran the update for Illustrator and Photoshop. I don't see how they are related, but this is how it happened. I could open Indesign very well yesterday, but since the update when I select the Indesign icon in my doc, he bounced back to start the update and then nothing. When I opened the window "force quit", it says in red "Indesign is not responding. No idea what to do to solve this problem. Should I uninstall and reinstall Indesign through the creative cloud?

    I'd appreciate any help offered.

  • Black MacBook does not start

I have a 10 year old black Macbook, which does not start when a battery is installed.  If it is connected without battery installed, it lights up, but if there is a battery in it, even if it is plugged in, it will get the startup sound and the screen of the Apple gray, then turn off.  I got a new battery and charge it where the charger turned green, but the results are the same.

    Any suggestions?

It is difficult to say what is happening with this machine, since the time and wear are considerations. I don't know what version of the operating system that you use, but there is a sequence of things you should do - in order of severity.

Since the 10.11.6 patch my IMac does not start with my hub plugged.

    Everyone

I assume you mean a USB hub? What does do when it's plugged in? It starts successfully when the hub is not plugged? If so, I would say that something is wrong with the hub or there is a problem with the port it is plugged or something plugged into the hub.

Try to plug it into a different USB port on your Mac.

It is possible that your firewall or other security software blocks or limit Firefox or plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and allow your firewall to ask permission to get access full and unrestricted, again to install for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.
