my iPod crashes my PC

This is my set up:

eMachine 4260 - Intel Celeron 3.06 CPU - ram 1.5 GB

XP Home SP3

Browser - Internet Explorer

I run Microsoft Security Essentials

And use CCleaner, Hitman Pro, Malwarebytes and Advanced systemcare, Auslogics for defragmentation

I have a problem when I plug it in one of my two iPods. If I have iTunes (version 10.6.1.7) loaded it does not read the iPods and the computer freezes. The same thing happens if I plug the iPod without iTunes from loading. I can only unfreeeze the computer if I unplug the iPods, which is not recommended.

Any help would be appreciated.

I solved the problem. I had not ensured that all USB have been removed correctly my computer after disconnecting. An external port multi-hub has been the origin of the problem.

Thanks for your suggestion.

  • Sync ipod Nano to the spare computer

I would like to sync my iPod on another computer that I have "authorized". When I try to synchronize, put in guard lose all of the music on the iPod scare me off the coast. The original computer I used to charge the iPod crashed and burned.  It can't be this hard?  This is me. It's always me. Help?  Thank you.

If you use automatic synchronization, your iPod can be associated with ONE iTunes library at a time.  It was not the 'computer' or the computer is "authorized".  By definition, iTunes can only "sync" your iPod with iTunes library.  If you have a backup of your entire iTunes library, you can restore your iTunes library to a new computer, and your iPod would be happily sync with it, because it's the same iTunes library (on another computer).

When you have associated your iPod to a new iTunes library, the old iTunes library's existing content is erased and replaced by the content of the new iTunes library.  To avoid losing the existing iPod content, you must unload it.  By design, iTunes sync is generally in one direction, from iTunes to iPod library.  You cannot use iTunes to transfer songs from iPod to the computer (with the exception of songs purchased from the iTunes Store).  However, there are methods and third party utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer.  If you do an Internet search on something like 'ipod music transfer', you should get a few useful links.  Here is a method that requires no additional software

    http://www.CNET.com/how-to/how-to-transfer-music-from-an-iPod-to-your-computer/

Once the files of songs from the iPod to your disk, add them to your current iTunes library.  After checking all the songs are in your iTunes library, you can sync your iPod.  Further, you should back up your iTunes data, as well as the rest of your user data.  iPods are not designed to be your iTunes backup.  To back up all your full iTunes library, you can use this method

  • pre crashes when recording in format ipod/iphone mp4

Hello, I'm having a problem that when I try to share and to save to the format ipod/iphone save routine comes to 96% finished and crashes. It is present every time without fail.

I tried several things on my own to go beyond that, and here's what I've found so far. If I strip all the music on the video he will save. I also do 30 seconds of music and it records in what I mean I can have 5 minutes of music, but every song that I use cannot lasts 30 seconds. It is one thing to copyright or is this a problem with pre? I put in all the other formats with no problems at all, it is only in the format of the ipod/iphone that I have this problem.

I was able to reproduce this on two separate machines.

    A machine is

    Windows 7 64 bit

    4 GB of ram

    NVIDIA 9600M GT - current driver 195.62

    the other is

    Windows Vista 32-bit sp2

    3 GB Ram

    NVIDIA 9600M GT - 195.62 driver current.

    Welcome to the forum.

Please tell us all about your project, especially assets (your source video and Audio Clips). The more details, the better it is.

Your Audio is longer than your video? If so, you will want to make a Dip - in-black and add black Video to cover your Audio stream of 100%, or just over. I always leave an additional s 02 Black video, beyond all the sound elements.

You can test export/share to another preset? How does this work?

Finally, you can tell us more about your systems? One important aspect will be the IO system, i.e. HARD drive, their size, the amount of defragmented disk space, their speed and how you have allocated.

Good luck, and we are going to look for this additional info,

    v. click OK.
VI. When you are prompted, click on restart.
VII. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

    (2) enable half the services
    (3) determine whether the problem returns
    (4) enable half of the startup items
    (5) determine if the problem returns
    (6) repeat the steps above until you find out which program or service is causing the issue

After you determine the startup item or the service that is causing the problem, contact the manufacturer of the program to determine if the problem can be solved. Or, run the System Configuration utility, and then click to clear the check box of the element of the problem.

  • IPhone crashed the Middle updated and now stuck on the setting of the screen!

My Iphone has been unusually slow. So I tried to update my phone I thought it's maybe the old version of the IOS that makes my phone lag (I think I downloaded the latest version, 10. something). While trying to update my phone, it crashed at halfway. Now I'm stuck on the screen that appears when your phone has been updated (white background, that invites you to enter the password and put in place). However, after putting in my access code and attempts to connect to the wifi, my phone indicates that the wifi password is incorrect, this is not. Also, when I try to connect through mobile data it shows that "your phone could not be activated because the activation server is not reachable. Try to connect your iphone to iTunes to activate it, or try via the mobile connection in a few minutes... ». As a result, I tried connecting to ITunes and I got a different view of error message saying "ITunes only could not connect to this iphone." An unknown error occurred (0xE8000015).

  • Note the application crashes...

Note the application crashes... I have discovered that by putting my phone on "airplane mode" the app not crushed. This makes me think that there may be a conflict with the iCloud? I tried to restart but the problem persists...  Anyone has a solution, pleas?

    Hello, Craig2099!

Thank you for reaching out by Apple Support communities. After reading your post, I understand that your Notes application to close unexpectedly when you try to use it. I keep a lot of information in the Notes, so I know it's important to be able to access the app. I'd be happy to help you!

I have some troubleshooting I suggest to go through. Before you start, I recommend you make a backup of your iPhone by following the instructions here: How to backup your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

Once your backup is created, go through the following steps, in order. Test after each step, stopping when the problem is resolved.

    1. Leaving the app all opened, as shown here:force a nearby application on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

Then, restart your iPhone after this article: restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch

    2. Uninstall the Notes application, and then reinstall it. Instructions on how to do this can be found here: remove the apps Apple integrated from the home screen on your device iOS with iOS 10
    3. Reset settings on your iPhone in settings > general > reset > reset all settings. This will not delete your personal data (like contacts, photos, calendar of events, etc.), but he'll be back customizable settings (as your background screen and display brightness, sounds of alert and ringtones, settings of Date and time, etc.) to the factory settings. It will also remove saved networks Wi - Fi and passwords, as well as all the VPN or APN settings used previously.
    4. Restore your iPhone settings by following the steps here: use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to factory settings

Once the restore is complete, configure your iPhone as a new device (i.e. without using your backup, at least temporarily). You can connect to iCloud iMessage, FaceTime and iTunes and the App Store. Then test Notes. If it works and not unexpectedly ends, you can restore your backup by following the steps described here: restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch from a backup

  • IPhone 7 crashed

    Hello.

You own an iPhone new 7 hours at least three.

Took 15 minutes to retrieve data on its own

    Hello sushantUK,

Welcome to the communities of Apple Support, it's my pleasure to help you today.  It seems that your new iPhone 7 hangs after connecting to iTunes.  I know that when I get a new camera, I can't wait to use it and I of course don't expect to plant at all.  IPhone 7 should have shipped with iOS 10 on it.  However, because the connection to iTunes has had an unexpected effect, we will try to restore the iPhone to factory settings.

    Please click below:

If you are unable to update or restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

In particular, since you are on an iPhone 7, you'll want to note that the buttons to enter restore mode have changed.

On an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 more: press and hold the sleep/wake buttons and the Volume at the same time. Don't release the buttons when you see the Apple logo. Hold the two buttons until you see the screen in recovery mode.

Thank you for reaching out to us today,

This is very unusual.  Two thoughts come to mind.

    1. Your storage space is too full?  Check the settings > general > storage & use iCloud > manage storage (in storage).  Make sure you have at least 10% (hopefully more than 15%) of total storage of your iPhone for free.
    2. Use iTunes (you must use the current version - 12.5.1, as this is the only version supporting iOS 10) to upgrade.  See 'Your device via iTunes update' here: update the iOS on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch - Apple Support software
