My Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 is shown in the center of Action as "off".

My Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 worm 1301.4.1.90 (h) is shown in the center of Action as "off" and I can't turn it back on.

I am using Windows 7 32 bit and its fully patched. I first noticed this problem after the latest Microsoft updates I rode the system a few days ago back to a previous restore point and the problem disappeared. Now that the MS patches have been reused Ive had the problem of return.

Any ideas anyone?

Thank you

  • Windows XP mode crashes after his execution. Can Kaspersky Internet Security 2013 be the cause?

It is a new HP laptop, preloaded with Windows 7 Professional, including Windows Virtual PC and WIndows XP Mode.  2013 - Kaspersky Internet Security is responsible.  With the launch of XP Mode Windows Virtual PC, I get my password, integration are enabled and the Windows XP desktop appears.  There is a notification that the virtual machine is protected by 2013 of Kaspersky Internet Security.  A ToolTip appears and indicates that Kaspersky needs to be refreshed.  (Note: Kaspersky has been updated under the Windows 7 platform).  When you attempt to update, the virtual machine freezes up.  By clicking on the Start button returns nothing.  The only thing I can do is output using the X in the upper right.  A window opens on the Windows 7 Desktop poster "The Virtual Machine into hibernation".  This window remains on my desk, and apparently the VM is not hibernate.  I have to perform a reboot of windows 7 and, in the process, forcing the Virtual PC to stop before the reboot process can begin.  Note that if I set up the Office XP under XP Mode, then immediately stop the XP Mode (I don't try to do SOMETHING else), hibernation is successful.  MS Help Desk wants to charge $99 for this problem.  It is a new machine, for Petes sake! Hi Andrews,

This problem is related to Kaspersky and the error can be caused by an incorrect installation of the system driver klim.sys.

I suggest to see the help link and check if it makes a difference.

  • Flash CS4 works only with Windows 7 64-bit and Kaspersky Internet Security

I have a new computer to core i5 Windows 7 64 bit retail. With Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 installed Flash CS4 answers so that it is completely unusable. Uninstall KIS and it works quite well. I already read on another forum that someone of another encounter the same problem with the same combination of products. Does anyone else have this problem amd If Yes, how do you solve? I posted on the forum of Kaspersky without solution so far.

Norton works OK with Windows 7 (64) and CS4?

Your chance.  After a week of research I found someone who has thought about it.  Apparently his self-defense of Kaspersky which is causing the problem.  Under options disable control external sevice disable.  For me, that did the trick.  If it does not for you also try to disable self-defense under both options.  Once I did it was moving smooth again.

    Hello

a make sure that you have no other antivirus installed on your computer, including those expired, before installing Kaspersky?

    also search for malware;

Download update and scan with the free version of malwarebytes anti-malware

    http://www.Malwarebytes.org/MBAM.php

You can also download and run rkill to stop the process of problem before you download and scan with malwarebytes

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/rkill

If it does not remove the problem and or work correctly in normal mode do work above in safe mode with networking

    Windows Vista

    Using the F8 method:

    1. Restart your computer.
    2. When the computer starts, you will see your computer hardware are listed. When you see this information begins to tap theF8 key repeatedly until you are presented with theBoot Options Advanced Windows Vista.
    3. Select the Safe Mode with networking with the arrow keys.
    4. Then press enter on your keyboard to start mode without failure of Vista.
    5. To start Windows, you'll be a typical logon screen. Connect to your computer and Vista goes into safe mode.

  • Norton Internet Security should be included in the list of startup programs?

I use Vista Home premium 32-bit with SP2 for Vista
    Norton Internet Security 2010 v 17.8.0.5

    When I go to:
Run > msconfig > Start Up Programs

I don't see anything there about Norton or Symantec.
I see it running in the list of services, but NOT in the list of the startup programs
I have Norton Internet Security has the value 'early charge', so it shouldn't be in the list of startup programs?

I swear I saw him in programs before starting.

Must show in the start up programs?

The entries you see in the list of services are service installed to work with the Internet Services of Norton. They are not in the program.

Have you tried looking in Autoruns?

To identify what loads when you start using Autoruns (freeware from Microsoft).
     http://www.Microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/ProcessesAndThreads/Autoruns.mspx

With Autoruns, you can deselect an item which disables startup, or you can click with the right button on an item, then remove it. If you clear the check box that you can check back for re - activate the element. It is an approach much safer than editing the registry and better than using msconfig.

Another useful feature of the program is that you can click with the right button on an item and select search online to get information about the selected item.
